As a self-confessed pen addict, there is nothing in the world of pens that compares with the feel of a Bic biro. And, 50 of them? That sort of pleasure should be be made illegal, that's all I can say.The anticipation as you watch the postman or postwoman trudge up to your door (unless you actually have to work for a living, in which case it will be the anticipation that is seeing you through your work day), the excitement as you tear open the package... and then the sheer exultation at finding fifty of these quite breathtaking pens - and they're all yours! Think about that for a moment; They don't run out of ink very quickly, thanks to that Bic genius. And there are only so many places you will be able to secrete one around the house in order to make the most efficient use of this box set. My tip? Stick one in any toilet you have (with paper of course... no, not THAT sort of paper) and your smallest rooms could churn out works that even Leonardo himself could never have hoped for. Of course, depending upon the number of men who like to frequent your lavatories and stealthily bleach the wallpaper, the rate at which you rattle through these pens may be a lot quicker than planned. But then these pens are so cheap that there is really nothing stopping you from ordering fifty more! These pens won't make your writing intelligible, nor will they bring about World Peace (although surely, they must be almost there, certainly with regard to the latter). But they are comfortable to write with, reliable to use and, best of all, absolutely lovely to chew on. Just be careful about chewing any that have dwelt in the smallest room... .

The pens themselves are as expected from Bic: top-notch quality and inexpensively so! However, maybe I'm being pedantic, the pens didn't arrive in the displayed packaging. Instead, they came in a (nonetheless padded) envelope. But, I guess it doesn't matter too much. The pens themselves really held up during exam season, and they didn't run out during my sitting the papers. That brings me to comfort. They are comfortable (and somehow gave me a bit of confidence too). Although, after intense, long periods of time of writing, the pens do start to impose their shape over your fingers! Also, with that, the tips of the pens do begin to become compressed and start to leak a bit, causing tiny, though noticeable ink splodges on paper - particularly as you start to write a new sentence.Anyhow, they got me through my exams very quickly and smoothly, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants to put pen to paper!

With 27 Bic Pens in the pack, this is extremely good value for money. You get a mix of colours - black, blue, red and green. As you would expect, the majority of the pens are blue and black; but my son uses green and red pens at school, so it is nice to have a few different colours in the pack. These are really pretty standard, but I have brought cheaper packs of pens and they tend to either leak or break. Although these are not flashy, they write smoothly and, even if you drop them and crack the plastic casing, they still seem to carry on working. I also like the fact that you can see how much ink you have left in the pen.Really, it is difficult to say too much about a basic pen - but I would say that these do actually work well.I like this pack, which does give you a good choice of colours, and they should last a long while. Always useful and very reliable, these are essential for any office or home.

I can not fault the pens, I personally only use Bic pens as i prefer their writing style and presentation to most other pens for a similar price. My only issue was the packaging in which they arrived in. The box in which the pens are stored in was ripped and bent beyond recognition! I put this down to the fact they were posted in a jiffy bag (and no, the postman did not put them through the letter box so that is not the reason). As a result of this, all the pens were splayed out within the bag and could have easilly been lost if the integrity of the jiffy bag was comprimised. A more appropiate packaging needs to be found,i dunno maybe a small box or atleast flatten the box the pens come in so we can actually use it.I refuse to not give these pens the 5 star treatment just because how it arrived, but i think Amazon could spare the thought before sending out such items next time.

I've always been a fan of BIC ballpoint pens. Maybe it's a throwback to my school days, when I used to wave them over a bunsen burner's flame during Chemistry lessons and bend the softened plastic into amusing shapes (except when I accidentally set them on fire). Sorry Mum, I got through far more pens than I should have done. However, along with their melting properties, they also happen to write particularly well. Where other brands can get scratchy with sticky ballpoints, leak or just not work at all, I always find BICs to be a reliable writing implement. That's not to say they're 100% reliable as they do occasionally fail, but it's a rare occurrence. At just 20 pence per pen this pack of 10 is a relative bargain. So far all the pens we've tried have worked, they write smoothly and consistently, and don't deposit blobs of ink at random.

I have to say that these pens are without a doubt the best pens that have ever existed. My wife and I go through so much stationery in our business that we have tried almost every pen on the market and the Bic ballpoint pen is undoubtedly the best. They write MUCH further than the others, they hardly ever jam or get stuck, they start writing as soon as you do and the quality of the write is second to none. I don't want to sound like a geek but I saw a program on the Discovery Channel called 'How they make it' and it showed how they make the Bic ballpoint pen - it was amazing to see how many quality tests are carried out and how much effort goes into each Bic pen - awsome! Anyway, compared to all the 'cheapo' or 'own label' pens out there, value for money and quality you cannot go wrong with a Bic.

I have been using these pens for the past 5 years through high school writing essays and completing exams and they have never let me down. The ink doesn't smudge, it will wash off skin reasonably well and it never blocks or causes any problems. A top quality 5 star item I will continue to use for years to come.As for the seller, everything went smoothly and the pens came 2 days after my order with standard delivery. Upon ordering (about midday) I received an email about 2 hours later saying my item had been dispatched. And once delivered were packaged in a standard envelope without retail packaging which at the end of the day saves me time unwrapping everything anyway. All 10 pens come attached to a single piece of cardboard to keep them together and all pens are tested and working.

There is no doubt that those classic BIC pens are one of the best, they last for ever and despite having simple design they are rather comfortable to write with. They may not have multiple uses again like in the times of cassette tapes (to manually rewind) but they are still irreplaceable when it comes to writing pages of homework. This particular pack comes with 12 blue pens, 6 black, 5 red and 4 green. It's a pity that there is not more black pens in the pack and less blue ones as most UK schools (or at least those my girls attended so far) require black pens for writing. So in our case we will run out of black pens before the pack is finish but it may be different for other people… dependingon the school I guess.

What can I say about a product that everybody loves? I don't normally give all five stars with my ratings unless the items are really good, but I think these pens deserve all five of them. In my view, the most useful BIC ballpoint pens are blue ones, and they're not just useful, but reliable too, as they work until the ink is completely finished. At the moment this 10 pack is £3, so it'll be 30p each, so even if I lose one of them (I keep losing them) or my colleagues 'borrow' it permanently, that's fine - I always keep a few of them in my pencil case, so it's always there! When I need to use a pen, I want to be find one within a second, so I keep these pens in different pockets in my bag,in my car, everything!

I like a good pen. By that I don't necessarily mean an expensive fountain pen or antyhign like that. I just like a certain quality in an everyday pen. Maybe because I'm one of the ever decreasing band of people who still write day to day (be it work or the latest Sudoku puzzle). And you really can't go wrong with a classic like the BiC.This is a great value pack with 27 assorted biro's. Largely black and blue with a few red and greens. And as you'd expect they are fantastic for every day use. They write well, don't leak and generally do what a pen does best. Also it's not the end of the world if you misplace one/lose one/leave one on the train. Why would you need to go anywhere else?

BIC crystal original, 100% reliable and genuineI’ve used Bic ball pens for as long as I can remember and they are my first choice of everyday pen. They are basic, functional, low-cost, discrete and, most importantly, reliable. They are available in several tip widths, these are the 1mm version which give a line width of 0.4mm and are the most popular size for general use. This 20 + 7 pack contains 12 blue, 6 black, 5 red, 4 green.Note that these are genuine BIC pens which bear the BIC logo, supplied in a BIC packet which is sealed. Any variation on this should be treated with caution as many Amazon buyers have voiced concerns over fake items being circulated.

The BIC crystal original are a good value but good quality pen; they don't fall apart and last longer than most biros. As a teacher and writer, I almost always have some in my pocket.Just a couple of things to look out for:- The assorted "20+7" packet has 12 blue biros, 6 black, 5 red and 4 green. I use a mix of pens and would have personally preferred a more even mix of colours.- I ordered these directly from amazon and received genuine BIC pens. I note from some reviewers that if you order from some other sellers on the amazon marketplace, this may not be the case - so be aware of apparent bargains.Otherwise, it's a BIC, and you can't go far wrong.

I will be 59 this year and BiC were the pens we used at my Infant and Junior Schools in Cambridge from 1965-1968, I am not sure that I have used them since so it was nostalgia that had me opt for this pack - and I am so glad that I did. I use Black, Blue, Red and Green pens in my working day and I only wish I had got BiC before now.The reasons are simple: They write first time, every time; they are good strong colours, they don't blotch or spot or fade during writing (or afterwards come to that). they also happen to be comfortable to hold. I am delighted to recommend them and only wish I had chosen BiC before 2016 - having waited since 1968.....

9.7.2016

In the field of ballpoint pens BiC have been the forerunner for so long now. Their BiC Cristal pens have been writing words, doing crosswords and generally being mightier than the sword since 1950.The pack of pens I got arrives with 20+7 pens in it. There are (in my selection) 12 blue, 6 black, 5 red and 4 green pens. The pens seem to work straight away and contrary to what other reviewers have said they all seem to be genuine BiC products with the BiC logo embossed on their side. Having so many is great with the kids as they are prone to using them and losing them, but with 27 of them lying around one should always be at hand.

11.7.2016

A selection of pens, presented in minimal packaging, in a thin clear plastic tray with plastic wrap. There are 12 blue ball pens, 6 black, 5 red and 4 green.I tested a handful of pens at random out of the tray and every single one wrote first time, which was reassuring. With so many documents and organisations requiring black ink only to be used I would have very much liked to have had equal numbers of blue and black pens at the very least. Hence four stars rather than five. However, if this isn't a concern for you, then this is a good value pack of pens, nothing fancy but a reliable standard that has stood the test of time.
