These pens are very comfortable when writing and last a long time. The black grips makes the pens easier to hold and I find that it is smoother to write with than others. However, the lids don't fit very well on the top of the pen. They slide on, and if you hold your pen upside down they seem to stay on, but I keep finding that the lids fall off if I move my pen too much and they seem quite loosely held. I end up not putting the lid on the top of the pen when writing to avoid it suddenly falling off if I move the pen with too much eagerness (that being said, I often hold a pen in my hand when talking,

Having used many ballpoint pens, I'm in no doubt that you can't get a better pen than the Bic Cristal. It feels right, writes smoothly and lasts so much longer than a cheap pen. This is a standard Cristal but with the added feature of a grippy section where you hold the pen. The idea sounds good, but the added section didn't have sufficient "rubberiness" to make a substantial difference for me. I honestly didn't feel this pen was any more effective or comfortable than the standard Cristal, which is already excellent. So not a bad pen, but I can't see any reason to pay a premium for this feature.

These pens are like the 'old fashioned' Bic pens that I have used for years but with an upgrade! They now have a really comfy rubber grip section so that you dont get an indent on your finger when you use them for long periods of time. There are 8 pens in the packet that are all black. The lids are see through and colourless rather than the traditional black colour but you can tell the colour of the pen by the colour of the grip. I am really happy with these pens - they are taking pride of place in my kitchen area where I write cheques etc so that they are always to hand. Highly recommend.

You receive a bag of 8 pens called Cristal grip, the pens have a soft grip on the part that you hold, I guess its designed to stop the pen sliding, however It didn’t seem to make any difference, the pen slid as much with the grip as it did without.I would call these a good basic pen, they write nicely, are easy to hold, which is pretty much what you want from a basic pen.I have pens that write nicer, never sure why some make my had writing look better, but at £5 I do think these are ideal to have.

Been using these Bic pens for many years and they are reliable good quality pens.This pack of 8 are black ink with a1.0mm nib. The barrel is clear, hexagonal plastic so you can see the ink refill inside and how much ink is remaining. A rubberised collar near to the nib makes writing more comfortable and the ink flow is smooth and steady, no leaks or splodges.Each pen has a clear lid with a clip.A great value pack of great pens

I actually like these a lot - bic never let you down, they cost next to nothing and I always have a supply on my desk.These have an added plastic "grip" and after a while I did find these as comfortable as the standard ones - but then gripping the originals wasn't a problem either.Overall they are excellent - not entirely convinced of the need to play with a design classic but hard to fault.

These Cristal Grip pens are fairly basic biros with a cap that is removed before writing. The difference from other Bic Cristal pens (which are my favourite 'cheaper' biros) is that they have a rubber grip towards the bottom. This definitely makes them better to hold. The writing is smooth, and these are generally of the normal reliable Bic standard. Decent cheaper biros, and recommended.

These are pretty much the same as a regular Bic biro, except they have a lid and a little rubber grip. Contrary to other reviews, I like the little grip, although it's perhaps slightly too high up the pen for me to be completely comfortable with it. Also, the lid doesn't click into place when you put it on the back of the pen while you're writing. Minor niggles though, nice biros.

Nice thin body with good soft grip that doesn't come lose and fall off, good ink delivery to the paper, medium line and very little pressure required, using more pressure actually leaves more ink making the writing appear in 'bold'. The protective cap clips onto the top for convenience. This is light and comfortable to write with, and at 62.5p per unit, a very nice pen.JC

These pens are really great for everything. They are basic pens but feel better than any others. The are comfy to hold and write with and just a good go to pen. Would recommend. This is a good pack and value for money.

This set of pens is great. I think Bic make the best biro pens at this price point. The pens in this pack have a gripper to help you hold the pen, a fine nib and a clear barrel. Highly recommended.

Great pens as you would expect from Bic. The pen writes very smoothly. The best thing is that the pens have a rubber feeling grip area near the pen base so that it's comfortable when writing.

BIc has been around for years and no wonder because they are great. They write beautifully. always reliable and are as cheap as chips.Highly recommended.

Got these for my daughter who is starting high school in september, so not been used yet and comes in original package, always recommend bic pens.
