After using inferior scribe-age products, I felt I needed and, yes, DESERVED a change. I couldn't dot an, 'i', cross a, 't'. An ampersand was a nightmare worthy of Lovecraft at his most hellish. So, I repaired to the Amazon, with a view to improving my writing situation. However, the Brazilian rain forest was no help, so I came to this web site. The BiC name is synonymous with high-quality, long lasting scribblery, so it was to this item that I pinned all my literary hopes, dreams and thoughts I should be punished for.Purchasing was simplicity itself. If you are a regular customer to this online Aladdin's cave of abasement at the altar of stationary, you will know what I am talking about. My voice-operated, table-top Furry Commerce Friend (tm) enabled me to purchase without a single click or press of a sweat-stained key. Oh, the pleasure unsurpassed as I awaited my delivery! The day came. I was shivering in anticipation and my bowels were asunder when the fateful knock occurred. After cleaning myself up, I answered the door to a clean, yet surly, youth, with an interesting array of facial tattoos. I signed the proffered digital device with a signature more akin to that of Klaus Barbie than my own - I should say at this juncture that I was signing WITH MY OWN FOREFINGER. The rough screen rent my flesh. However, I was willing to endure any pain in order to receive my prize. The grunting morlock departed, having thrust into my hands a parcel roughly the size of Nantwich. Hacking this open, with hands quivering, using my long-incarcerated brother's Japanese throwing machete, I discarded a small mountain of polystyrene packaging into the local area of outstanding natural beauty, where it has subsequently formed the residence of a thriving population of coypu. Nestled, coyly, at the monstrous box's base, was my box of hope. I felt like Pandora. However, she wasn't answering my calls, so I opened the box of pens alone. The flaps are smooth to the touch and strangely erotic. Did I detect a slight moistness? If so, it was surprising, yet strangely arousing. The lid sprang open with a friendly, 'plop', to reveal the massed ranks of the finest doodling implements known to man, each one upright and erect, ready to serve. Which plasticky shaft would be first into my sweaty, quivering grip? The rows of inky soldiery seemed to cry, 'Me! ME!' in unison as they stood clamouring to be used. I finally made my selection, grasped him, pulled him far from the throbbing crowd and named him, 'Gerald'. He seemed so grateful. His fellows were not envious, however. Pens are, if nothing else, a sociable animal. Much like coypu. After some gentle tugging, he came off in my hand - well, his sturdy, black helmet did, anyway - revealing his shiny, bronzed nib. Oh, ecstasy. Oh, Nirvana. As Gerald assumed the position, ready to obey my every wrist action, I could barely contain myself and retired to the Drawing Room for more gentle tugging. Returning to my desk, I found Gerald awaiting me, the afternoon Sun winking from his ballpoint. And then we began our coupling:"Dearest Mother,I hope you are well and that Uncle Henry's unfortunate problem has cleared up. It will be so wonderful to watch him vaulting the petunias in the lower gardens, in pursuit of Daisy, once again. This missive comes to you with the assistance of Gerald, my tiny, yet mighty friend-in-literature. He is as a diamond in my greasy fist. A constant, upright source of inky pleasure. Ripe, bursting with his eau de vie which decorates my every parchment without blotch, blob or ejaculate. His skills surpass all previous candidates, of which I have informed you over these many long years. His dark liquid varies not one iota from the velvet, smooth darkness of the furthest reaches of the mind. I find myself overcome with emotions of the deepest romance, such is the enormous hold he has on me, and I have on him. You must forgive me if I curtail this communication. I find myself overcome, and the envelope may stick as one would wish a little too much.Yours in inktercourse,Your loving son."

This review is for all four colors - blue, black, red, and green.I am a pen snob, and so I am going to give a detailed, critical review of this pen.The French-made Bic Orange Fine pen sold in the UK and throughout Europe is hands down one of the best fine point ballpoint pens available at any price. This pen was manufactured and available in the US until sometime in the 1990s (green ink was discontinued much earlier, back in the '70s). The UK version sold in the boxes of 20 pens have the cartridges that are fused to the pen body (non-refillable), have a round end opposite to the nib, and have a slightly longer cap. I recently purchased some of the Cristal Fines (basically the same pen with a transparent orange barrel)in the multi-color pack, and those pens have the removable ink cartridge, pen body, and cap like the US version. All of the colors write perfectly, with very smooth, even ink delivery with no blobbing or skipping. These pens have the perfect ink viscosity - runny enough to give effortless, smooth ink flow with little pressure, but not so thin that that ink flows too quickly and blobs (like some other low viscosity ink pens). By contrast, the Bc Orange Easy Glide version made in China and sold in the Asian market are terrible - the ink is just too thin and blobs/globs. The plastic used in the pen body and cap is inferior to the French version. The fine point cartridges used in the Round Stic pens made in Mexico and sold in North America are close in quality to the French Orange, but I think the French ink is a little better.Interestingly, I recently purchased some blue medium point Cristals packaged for the Australian market, and they are made in France. They write exceptionally well - exactly like the Xtra Smooth/Easy Glide Cristals available in the US.The brass nibs are machined and polished very well and glide smoothly across the paper without scratching or digging into the paper. The pen body and cap are high quality smooth plastic that fit well together and feel comfortable in the hand. These Bic Orange Fines write as well as any Bic ballpoint pen I've ever used. Although liquid ink roller pens and gel pens have are much more popular now around the office, these Bic Oranges are a pleasant reminder of how enjoyable a good ballpoint pen can be to write with.

We have had these pens before but I have struggled recently to buy any of this particular 'fine' type at popular retailers after our regular 'family owned' stationer closed due to retirement. I had noted customer reviews on Amazon before I ordered. Yes, each pen came with a tiny bar code label but these came off without any trouble leaving only a very little residue sticky stuff on the pens which I removed easily with some proprietary sticky stuff remover which we keep as a matter of course for this type of issue. Not a big problem in any case. I tried every pen and all 20 wrote first time. We keep a pot of 7 or 8 BIC 'fine' pens on the kitchen window sill but I leave pens all over the house after I have picked one up from the pot.I have just replenished the pot after some older BIC pens ran out of ink. I had got to the stage where I was struggling to find a pen. This practice of leaving pens lying around annoys my wife and every so often I collect them up and put them back into the pot but it is great to be able to pick up a pen whichever room I am in when the phone rings or when in front of the computer and still have some in the pot. These BIC pens are excellent everyday workhorses so I am pleased with my purchase and they are just the ticket. Can fully recommend.

I was forever searching for a pen on all sorts of occasions. The phone would ring. I would answer. During the conversation that ensued some kind of writing implement was required. On far too many occasions no such implement could be found. There were occasions when I made the caller wait whilst I searched for something. Anything at all that could be used to take down pertinent notes. On one or more occasions the caller had very relevant information that they needed to impart to me but I did not have any means of recording the relevant information. I was very pleased to find these Bic orange original fine ballpoint pens.On reading their purpose I bought them with very little hesitation and now I am well equipped on any occasion when information needs to be recorded. The bic orange original fine ballpoint pen is ideal to make meaningful but interpretative marks on any available surface for future reference. I loved the idea so much that I bought a big box of the things. Now whenever I am required to record anything of great importance I turn to the BIC Orange FineBallpoint Pen and I suggest that you do too. Now I need to find a suitable surface on which to use my remarkable BIC Orange Fine Ballpoint Pen.

These are certainly the best pens on the market and following my earlier review I am now pleased to provide further support for their wider use in the community. I became engaged just over a year ago and our wedding took place in in June of this year. My wife's mother had insisted we all dressed formally so I had to purchase the full morning suite from Moss Bros. The trousers were a little too long for me so they agreed to shorten them. Unfortunately the shop assistant wrote, using my BIC PEN, 30cm and not 30inches on the instructions from the tailor. I picked up the whole suit on the morning of the wedding and with no time to change had to walk up the aisle with the formal striped trousers terminating just above my knees, showing my hairy calfs and socks. The mother in law was not pleased. However, I did eventually get a refund from Moss Bros, apparently they send this trouser length to their Norwich branch where for some reason a lot of midgets reside in that area and an inside leg length of 30cm fits fine. I am not blaming the use of the BIC pen for the tailoring error but thought this story would provide useful background information for those considering buying

I am a self-confessed pen addict. This goes hand-in-hand with having the sort of handwriting that can't be deciphered by anyone purely because it is never all that clear in which language I have managed to scrawl something. I am condemned to wander through life in search of That One Pen, the pen that will suddenly transform my writing into something legible. These pens don't come anywhere near achieving that, but that is entirely to their credit. The more comfortable the pen is to use, the faster I write. And unfortunately, the faster I write, the more unintelligible is my writing. A vicious circle, right enough. Pens like these are great to write with and excellent value. So, sadly, the search will have to continue.

My brother and I have been using these pens for over 30 yrs. The fine nib point and easy ink flow make them brilliant for neat, compact fast writing. A superb pen to use and control. If you’ve never tried them before you will be amazed at how even the most compact correspondence still appears easily legible. The fact of the matter is the only thing that has been an issue with these pens is that Bic seem to have made them increasingly difficult to get hold of in normal shops. When I found them on Amazon, especially at this price, it made sense buying a whole box of them.Far better than practically any other pen I’ve tried these are a brilliant buy.

Struggling to know what to write about these pens. They work well and are ok to hold. I have written many words with them so far and had no problems writing in English. I cannot be certain if they work equally as well in French but I will try that later. If you have any questions about them, please write to me and I will write back to show you how they perform. The box that they came in was made of cardboard and could be used for storing pens if you need pen storage. I went for the black in version and other colours are available.

Have always loved these pens, but seem only to be sold singly in shops. Mine do seem a little dry and the colour isn't as bold as I recall but they are still a joy to write with - like writing with pencil, delicate fine line and no excess pressure needs to be applied. Haven't checked all 20 pens but the few I have on the go seem fine. FYI: Not a problem for me but box was arrived squished into standard Amazon packaging for a paperback though has mostly restored to shape, and yes all the pens have barcode stickers.Review for:

I bought these pens in August 2015, tested them on arrival and all worked well. I've been using two of them for three months now (albeit that I don't do a great deal of writing each day) and they have not yet run dry. I tested the remaining pens in the box prior to writing this review and they all still write well and none have dried up. The pens are fine writers which is the type of nib that I prefer and they write well and smoothly. At the moment I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend these pens.

Ok firstly the biro pens were delivered in the slotted time , perfect. The box was not in the best of shape but selotape took care of that , perfect. Ive randomly tried the pens and they work , perfect with me so far? People for around about 20p per pen that's very good value , perfect? Yes. Now we go into the subject about Bic. They're either knock offs or factory fails hence no Bic logo , a trades description matter I think but very well pleased all round.

I love writing with these pens as the nib produces a nice, fine line. They work on slightly wet paper too, which cannot be said for all pens. I would love them even more if there was no separate lid to lose but then it would be a different style of pen and would cost lots more! I resent having to buy my own pens for work (I work in the public sector - they will be charging us for toilet paper next) so the fact that these ones are good value is a real bonus.

I now am paying way over the top for bic black fine pens, Prices were over double what they were a few months back. There is no reason for it. So when I saw your advertisement through 'google', I took a chance, which proved good. These pens are good value, hope they stay at this price otherwise have to look around again.Very please with your price and service, keep it low please.....Yours sincerely,Fellow workerHere in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

I'm rather picky about what pens I write with. I used to use Parker pens with a fine point but it was expensive because they kept leaking and and the refills themselves were expensive. These BIC pens are almost as nice to write with and are only a small fraction of the price so they suit me well and, having bought a whole box of them, I no longer find myself searching for a pen to write with and the 'lost' ones always turn up sooner or later.

I love these Bic Orange Fine Point Black Ink pens. Couldn't do without them! I do a great deal of handwriting every day and I have other expensive pens but I always use my orange Bics. They improve my handwriting and are very comfortable to hold. They never smudge and they give a good even clear line. They are long lasting and of extremely good value - 20 for 4.29! My Parker, Sheaffer and Conway Stewart pens can stay in an office drawer !
