Have bought Thule before and always trusted them to produce a great product. Haven’t been disappointed. Fitted it to the back of our VW by using the protection patches and tool supplied, which is a doddle. Used the rack for two road bikes and they fit on easily, don’t move whilst driving and fold up nicely when not in use. It does add some weight to the rear door but our California has updated gas struts to accommodate this.Would definitely recommend the Wanderway.

The Thule Wanderway 2 is identical to the new VW bike rack (except for the 4 rails, which can be retrofitted). Functionally, qualitatively and economically unbeatable, also suitable for MTBs with 2.5 inch tire width.
