It is ideal for 1 day hike in winter/2-3 days hike in summer. It has plenty of features and smart pockets.The mesh and zippers are high quality and don't mind a bit of abuse. The mesh is not waterproof but the backpack comes with a rain cover which fits perfect. The straps have a nice contour, they feel a bit to stiff on the first 3-4 hikes but then they are ok. So take your time and get used to the backpack. The adjustable back does the job, I was able to fit it perfectly on my back. I've been using it for both hiking and traveling, no complaints so far, Thule is up to its name.

Used it multiple times while hiking and camping this spring and summer. I carried everything, I needed for a couple of night of camping, as well as my camera and tripod without any issues. The bag material is very good and the rain cover provides a great protection from rain and snow. Overall a great product and well designed bag for overnight hikes and usual travel. Straps have decent cushioning but I felt that my osprey 85l bag is bit more comfortable when fully loaded.My RatingComfort 4.5Material and construction 4.5Weather protection 5Space and pockets 4.5

I’ve had one long, overnight hike with this pack. Initial impressions:StableStill trying to get the fit right, but it’s easily adjustable. Was carrying nearly 40lbs in rough terrain so maybe it’s more of that.Seems well built.The color, which should be the least of my concerns, is green with a shine to it. Wish it was more of a muted color.Will update after I’ve dialed the pack in.
