I have the 45L in navy blue. Love the bag. It is plenty big. I've taken this as a carry-on packed with clothes, etc. for multiple 2 day work trips - chinos, undershirts, dress shirts, workout shorts & shirt, socks, underwear, toiletries, Sonicare brush, sneakers or second pair of dress shoes, belts. This bag swallows it all up. Now, completely full, I have chosen to gate-check this bag when flying on smaller commuter jets. Otherwise, I carry it on along with a computer bag. The construction is very sturdy. The bright orange interior is really helpful when you're trying to dig something out of the bag, too. The magnetic handles on top of the bag are also cool. Don't have to keep fussing with floppy handles that don't stay put.

I really am impressed by this duffle bag. It definitely meets the standards of luggage rather than your basic duffle. It's made with high quality fabric and is lined for added protection. Prior to this I wasn't at all familiar with this brand but I'm very impressed by what I see. The quality and design are definitely superior to any other duffle bags I own and you can tell it was designed to make travel easier.The opening is wider than you'd usually find on a duffle and the zipper seems like it will hold up well to travel abuse. I also really like the fact that the inside is brightly colored to make finding things inside much easier. No digging into a dark bag and feeling around for what you need.

The Thule Subterra Duffel bag is a very sturdy duffel bag. The duffel is made of good quality fabrics and looks like it will last for a long time. I love that the handles have magnetics so that the handle snaps together on it's own and it ready for you to grab and pick up. No fumbling for the individual straps and trying to grab both to pick up the bag. The bag fits specifications for carry on bags too, so no worries there. It weighs 2 pounds so it doesn't add a lot of weight to your load. Did I mention the wide mouth opening? Yes, it has a wide mouth so you can easily root around in the bag to find that item you need. The interior of the bag is a bright yellow/green so it's not a black hole and the bright color makes it easier to find what you're looking for.

This bag is unlike any other duffel bag I have seen. It has an unusual rhombus like shape, that both accommodates lots of items and looks as compact as possible and very flattering when worn across the body. It's so portable you can easily wear it on a bike across your body. The wide opening that can take larger items is also due to this unusual shape. The inside is bright, which helps you find things. The two pockets - one on the outside the other on the inside - are large and will serve their purpose.I am not a fan of bags that have a smattering of identical pockets everywhere, as you have to rummage through all pockets to find something. This is a great duffel bag. Almost hate calling it a 'duffel' as it conjures up memories of military gear. This is attractive, quality made and perfect for airline carry on. Carried for me two pairs of jeans, 4 t-shirts, 1 sweater, 1 pair of heels and a spare set of sneakers (not to mention underwear and shampoo, toothpaste, etc, etc) and there was plenty of room to spare that I could easily have taken more. This is great for college students, too, for them to store their stuff in when traveling home for the weekend or spring break. Just a perfect luggage companion for use when regular suitcases are too big (or as a supplement to a suitcase). I highly recommend for women, men, old and young.

The price of this bag sets lofty expectations, and the bag delivers. I say this for people who can fathom a $140 duffle bag, as for many, no bag can justify the price.The bag is Thule through and through. An exterior of rich yet muted color composed of incredibly durable materials and devoid of anything that could catch. Exceptional zippers open generous openings to reveal a vibrant interior with limited though well executed pockets. The generous opening and square shape allow for ample storage. No matter the weight, the straps and handles are up to the task.This likely isn't the bag for people with modest demands or limited uses. It's a workhorse for people who want the best. In that vein,

This bag is rather massive and well constructed.For us, it's perfect for towing up to the ski hill or to camp thanks to its customizable size. There are side hooks that slide to onto side straps when you have a smaller load, or take off the clasps for a large oddly triangular shape for a large load.The main strap is removable with hooks, and is very high quality - and if you just want to carry the handle, the handles clasp together via magnets.There are pockets on the interior and outside, making great places for toiletries or phones.Overall, this bag will definitely last forever, as it is higher quality than the average travel bag.

This is a great soft-sided carry-on travel bag. Very well made, one of the best features is that the top opens up fully in a square shape. This allows it to be packed well. I also love the light color (yellow) interior which means that items can be easily seen. It has a pocket inside as well as an easy-to-reach pocket on the outside. It has an over the shoulder strap which makes it easy to carry through airports. The soft sides allows it to be stowed in most plane compartments. Overall, a very good value.

The durability and sturdiness of this bag makes it great for travel as it can pack in a lot of stuff. However, I am used to having more pockets in a regular duffel so I can separate my belongings and this bag has no exterior pockets. It’s smooth outside. It would have been nice to have some more separation and an easy access pocket if this bag was the main carry on.Otherwise the bag will stand up to travel, and will stay solid for years. Most cheaper duffels wear out easily with travel.

Useful size and shape. I find myself using this bag the most for short weekend trips. It holds all of my fly fishing gear (waders, boots, hat, shirts, gloves, etc) in a nice compact package. it's durable and has handled being tossed in my trunk and on the ground without any noticeable wear and tear. Overall it's a good bag made with high quality materials which is reflected in the price. It's not the cheapest option out there for a weekender but it's a good option.

I travel pretty regularly and I have been looking for a good go to bag. This compact bag is adjustable and great for travel. It's the size of carry on and I could fit a whole weeks worth of clothing inside of it. The material is durable. The strap is comfortable on your shoulder. It comes with outside and inside zipper pocket. One might say this is the best bag you could own.

I'm in the habit of keeping a bag in my trunk for basics and car stuff. This has been doing a great job in that role.Seems to hold its shape well and is very well constructed. The magnetic clasps are satisfying to use, and I haven't detected any noticeable wear. Couldn't ask for more.

Very massive persistent fabric. The metal parts are also high quality.Unfortunately there’s no side pocket for keys or phone.There’s magnets in the handles that kerps them together while using.Perfect size for a weekend trip. Too big for a sport bag.

Very nice carrier. The fabric and seams are sturdy and with the various handles and carry straps can be used how ever you want. The bag is large enough to carry a lot of items with pockets for certain items you don't want bouncing around.

Very durable and will for sure last a long time. The only complaint on these bags along with other Thule luggage is that eventually, the clasps used to open and close the zippers break off. I replace them with key rings.
