As a mother of two rough and tumble toddlers, wife of an outdoor enthuiast, and professional career woman, I am just as likely to travel for business as to take a family camping trip. I am always looking for any product that is multipurpose or well balanced. So I was floored to be offered this rolling duffel bag which I've found to be an ingenious combination of style and practicality. It doesn't embarrass me as a functional addition to my business class luggage, but doesn't strike anyone as out of place in the back of the SUV next to my dogs. The duffel bag is spacious, and you can easily pack enough into it for multi day trips with room to spare, and yet when it is empty,it takes up half the space of a typical rolling suitcase which makes it easy to store. It boasts a removable extra-secure compartment for electronics which is one of the various pockets that should delight careful packers. Though the bag is suprisingly sleek, it adjusts to accomadate various sized loads. And it is incredibly lightweight, but best of all the bag is durable. Very durable. It is obvious the minute the opackaging is removed. I've already utilized it for some light business travel, and now am ecstatic to see how it handles on a sportier trip.

The idea of a rolling duffel takes a bit of faith. Athletic totes with wheels seems somewhat incongruous. One close look at this marvelous duffel and incongruity flies out the window.Let's start with appearance. The fabric is both hearty and water-reisitant. The back (or bottom depending on its orientation) is very rugged vinyl reinforced with aluminum fittings which hold the telescoping pull handle. The zippers are also well stitched and durable. A built-in crush-proof case is designed to hold goggles or your cellphone, digital camera or iPod. On the interior there are two compartments to separate wet (or dirty) clothing from the clean. The wheels, while not spinners, are large and the bag is very stable when pulled by the telescoping handles through airports.Every aspect of this bag shouts "quality". It is a piece of luggage to take skiing, to the beach or even on short weekend trips.

I think the price tag might be the only deterrent to this product, because the quality is outstanding! This compares nicely with a typical carry-on bag, and the construction is rather brilliant. (I guess this should be expected from a company known for building storage containers for vehicles, etc.) There are a number of nicely laid out compartments, and the hard compartment at the top for breakables is really a nifty idea. The wheels and extend-able handle are also very solid as they combine a comfy rubberized grip with a sturdy feeling.Besides the quality construction, the style really needs to be mentioned. This was built with the "outdoor adventurer" in mind, and it really hits a home run for just looking "cool." But the cross functionality just works across the board, and I think the frequent traveler and the hiker/cyclist will equally be satisfied with this.I am truly impressed!

The Thule Crossover 56 Liter Rolling Duffel Pack is very good lucking, convenient, and high quality. When I became a frequent flier years ago, I quickly learned that you get what you pay for with luggage products, with most wearing out quickly and not standing up to the demands of travel. I am a fan of TravelPro luggage for airplane carry-on luggage, but I will happily use this Thule in place of my TravelPro gear when it makes sense.I especially like all of the handles (in addition to the wheels!), as you never know how you're going to have to carry something to get through tight spots and/or depending on the weight of your contents.I have gotten several complements on the appearance of this duffel, and it's so refreshing to use a quality product (which seems rare these days).I wouldn't have thought of Thule for this type of product, but I can definitely recommend this bag.

My husband was thrilled when we got this. It's the perfect rolling duffel pack for your ski gear: helmet, goggles, clothes, ipod, etc. It even has compartments for storing wet, soiled clothing. The best aspect of this duffel is it's durability. My husband took this with him on a ski trip last month and he seriously abused it. The duffel looks "used" now, but it's still in perfect shape in terms of the construction. You can tell it's made of high-quality materials that are meant to last season after season, even after taking a beating strapped to the top of a vehicle, after being lugged around the mountains, and even being put through baggage check at the airport; it's still in great shape.

This is a high quality, sturdy, well designed bag which is perfect for frequent travelers. Highlights are:- Good quality materials used throughout- Lots of pockets and storage- Hard pocket for delicate gear (cameras, phones, etc.)- Great design, well made, light but strong- Good use of metal for strength (aluminum)- Easy to use design -- handles and wheels do the jobAll in all this is a great rolling bag that should last for many years and give you good service during that time. Superior quality and construction. A bit expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for in this case.Thumbs up!

I took this on a one week trip. Disagree with previous reviews that it is good for 3 days. I used the bottom layer and rolled my clothes. Fitted 3 pants, 6 shirts, underwear and work out clothes inclusive of jacket. Top layer i fitted running shoes and 2 pairs of dress shoes, toiletries and an over coat. I still had enough room for 2 books and computer power cords etc. Loved the bad, the wheels do not mean it will over balance. It is light and manageable. Highly recommend.

I really found these to be durable, strong and the airlines don't break them! I love mine, I also bought the 86 liter. The 56 liter is a little bit big to pass as a carry on, the standard has to be 22in. and this one is 25in. But as a check on, it's great! If they have a carry on, will buy that one next. I have the big one and happy with it for my dive gear needs. I recommend this to anyone. Nina

This bag has been around the world 5/6 times over with me and hasn’t let me down at all, no rips, no tears nothing. However having taken it out of retirement following the COVID crisis the zips have now snapped, only the handles the zip mechanism itself is fine. Hopefully Thule will be able to provide replacements!

This travel bag is awesome. I love the way it splits in two, but you can still access to top half with the zipper, without having to open up the bag. Can expand significantly to take a lot more than when fully collapsed. Would be great if they made a 4-wheel version of this.

It's a really good bag, no remarks regarding quality. The only thing it's not always accepted as carry-on luggage. Like same airline can allow you to carry it but on return flight you have to check it in. But as a travel bag it's really good.

The Scandi stuff are always good quality. I saw it a lot in my last rip in Sweden and unfortunately I could not buy it over there. The price through Amazon was fair and fast delivery. I am a very satisfied client and high recommend.

This should last for along time. It is built like it was designed for abuse. Nice comfortable handle that extends and lots of space for your stuff. You get what you pay for.
