This is a strong and sturdy backpack with a large main section that seems to be missing on a lot of similar packs.I had a hard time deciding between the practicality of a Wenger bag or the professional look of a Samsonite for my daily commute but the Thule is a nice middle ground. The pack is well padded across the back, comfortable to wear and spreads the weight well but lacks any reinforcement or extra padding in the bottom of the laptop section and wouldn't recommend dropping a laptop into it. The laptop/tablet section is separate from the main section which is great for keeping the valuables away from lunch/gym kit etcThe front section has a number of useful organising pockets although thespace is limited and if you stuff them full they contents will push back into the main section of the bag and/or limit what you could drop into the front pouch. The "crush proof" sunglasses section is useful, padded and soft although the slot on the front flap of the section which looks like it is supposed to hold a mobile isn't going to fit most modern 5" screen smartphone although the secions in the front zippered pocket do comfortably.Although the main section has another two mesh pockets stitched into the top back the only real criticisms of this bag that I can level is that there were probably better options for additional internal pockets and that a waist belt might have been useful for cyclists.Very happy with the bag and hope it will last as long as it looks it will.

... But I owned another THULE product and was very impressed with it, so I took the plunge at the beginning of 2017 and have loved this bag every time I've had the opportunity to use it (and I've made opportunities). From work-focused stuff, to shopping (I don't drive, so I use it for my regular grocery shopping as well), always keeping my Mac etc safe... and my favourite usage style, which is when I put my Minirig sub on the f ront of it and a Minirig in each side pocket and walk around like a mobile disco. What I'm trying to say is I use my bag a lot and almost feel it should have cost MORE! Hahah, this is obviously due to my slightly over emotional attitude to life - I have great memories with it and no annoyances.Plus it somehow looks like it did the day I bought it. Brilliant design that frankly, just disappears - All of my memories with this bag are about the event itself with 0% "time fiddling with backpack", and if you've ever had an annoying piece of kit you know what I'm talking about. I also think it looks amazing.Big, big fan of this bag. If it went on tour with its other THULE siblings I would travel to see it. (With my bag of course)

The most high quality bag I've ever owned. Very high quality materials and stitching. Highly protective separate thickly padded laptop pocket. The tablet pocket which is stitched onto the laptop pocket perfectly fits a thin A4 notepad. The pocket opposite the aforementioned pockets is a bit flimsy which is handy for storing your charging cables etc.The main pocket for books, lunch box, drinks etc. is very spacious considering it's a 3 main pocket styled bag. Has two nice mesh pockets for holding little things like a charging brick for a MacBook Pro (61 watt USB-C for size reference) or any equivalently sized one.The front pocket is meant to store little things such as pens considering it has 2 pen pockets with a bunch of small zip pockets.I use it to carry my headphone carrying case (QuietComfort 35 for size reference) which fits in nicely. The hard protective pocket on top of the bag is really handy for delicate things such as glasses. The straps are very thin, but are very comfortable as they are soft and breathable. You will use this bag for years to come, when you compare it to let's say a 40 euro bag, this is much better value for money.

Here is a short list of everything I've used this backpack for: high school, college, camping, road tripping for miles and miles, an overnight travel bag, and a hiking backpack. It works for everything and anything, but know this: it carries a ton of stuff and can weigh a lot. It's dense. Very dense. The One REAL CON:Initially my biggest complaint about this backpack was the excessive amount of pockets. At first I would forget which pocket (or pocket within pocket) I had put something....but then... I got to know it a little better and am still amazed at how much you can haul around with you.The BIGGEST PRO:I have put this backpack through hell and back and it still looks amazing.I have broken a few things on it, most notably the front clip to buckle the straps together. But you can't even tell that from a foot away. Not a good buy.... Probably the Best Buy. Lol. seriously though. buy it.

I have had two Wenger Swissgear bags now (each latter 4 years or so), and I was wondering whether to get this or another Swissgear bag. None of the reviews gave much of a comparison so I decided to write my own comparing the two. I had the20L Wenger 60627 laptop bag as well as a larger Wenger 60635 27L bag. I really like the Wenger bags so for me there is high bar to beat them. The thing I noticed about this bag is that it does not feel that big and yet has a large capacity. I was able to get a large box in there with no problem. It is good quality, and stands out more than the Wenger bags. Not quite as many pockets but they are all well placed and useful. The seperate ipad sleeve is a bonus. The sunglasses pouch/ valuables pouch is also good. The front pocket is also great for slipping full size headphones into. Only been using it for 1 week but so far I am glad I got this bad vs the Wenger.

Let me start of by first saying although I had never heard of the company Thule before purchasing this bag I'm very glad I know do.The overall design and feel of the bag is very sturdy and we'll build. It has 3 large pockets as you would find on most bags in this category. But unlike many I have seen to also offers you a separate area to store your tablet. In the padded section at the back. I personally feel this is brilliant as it saves me from having to put it in the havoc that's is the main pouch. There is also a reinforced compartment for items such as a smartphone and or your glasses. Again I love this as I am always worried about either not being able to find my glasses in my bag or damaging them this pocket takes all of that away.Any bag I purchase in future will be a Thule bag,a long with the covers and cases that they offer for about 90% of the devices you are likely to own.

I bought this bag in preparation for statrting grad school where I am usually carrying a laptop, planner, 2 textbooks and some floders with me on a daily basis. The organization inside of it works very well for what I personally need, however I have it about at capacity. I also accidently dumped my full water bottle on it while it was zipped shut, and pretty much everything stayed dry while I quickly cleaned it off.My one complaint about the bag is that the zippers feel a bit low quality. I have not had any issues with them yet but because I am packing so much into this back, I worry that there may come a time when I try to shut it and I break a zipper.Other than that this bag works great for what I would need it for as an everyday school bag.

I love Thule bags and well as the Thule quality. This is my second bag from them and they have exceptional customer service. I love that they have secure pockets for my laptop and my ipad. The organization and pockets make it perfect for me as a medical student. It can fit my Mac, Ipad, a large text book, a coffee thermos, a 32oz nalgene bottle, gym clothes, sneakers, pens/ highlighters, makeup bag, snacks and more. Definitely fits a lot comfortably. I would recommend Thule backpacks to anyone. I also think it is more professional with the textured black pattern and classic details. I had a problem with a previous Thule backpack tearing at a seam. 2 emails later and they sent me a new one.I love Thule and will continue to buy their products.

I spent about a month hunting for ‘the perfect’ rucksack. I wanted something that looked good as I use it for going to gigs, but I didn’t want it to scream ‘mug me, I have laptops and shine kit in here’. I also wanted the bag to be multi-purpose to use while travelling or even just going to they gym. The design and quality is great. Well thought out and laid out. Separate section for laptop, iPad, magazines, books, paper etc. And another section for clothes or anything else. Front pocket for quick find items & pens. Plus a protected section for sunglasses. The shoulder straps are good quality and comfortable.* ps. While this sort of bag is usually for men, I’m female and find it just right, but then I can’t stand ‘girly stuff ‘

Beautiful design and durable quality - I'm really impressed. Only the integrated hardcover case for smartphone, glasses etc. ist too small in comparison to previous models. After putting in your smartphone you should instantly close the compartment to avoid it falls out again. The backpack keeps the inside protected from water splashes/ light rain but it's not completely water proof in heavy rain, so a rain cover is recommended. I am still using a previous smaller model for four years now and it still looks like new. No damages anywhere after daily use. You can be sure you get really excellent quality for the price.

I bought this backpack in September, 2015 and have taken it to Europe, Asia and the Andes and Amazon area of South America as well as every other trip I've taken since purchasing it. I have seen other backpacks since then that have the padding the Thule has for protecting computers, but I have not seen the combination of versatile pockets, zippered compartments and other openings that this backpack has. I am very pleased with it and it will be traveling with me again in a few days and again into South America early next year. I'll buy it again as soon as it wears out, but so far it looks almost like new.

I love a good bag.I have had a few ruck sacks and have tried over the shoulder type bags as well.Over the shoulder ones look cool but are a bit impractical and if you the carry a load of computer gear on a regular basis they are not good unless you have access to a chiropractor at a reasonable cost.I finally decided to go back to a rucksack and settled on this one because of other reviewers. This bag is brilliant, they have thought of everything, loads of space and lots of little compartments for you nicks and knacks. It has a 25 year guarantee, you can't go wrong, buy it now

Great bag. I can stuff a Lenovo Thinkpad (15") with charger cables, a phone charger cable, a massive headphone in its case, two A4 notebooks one of which is spiral bound plus other miscellany.Construction: Tough. The material feels thin but solid. Zippers are well constructed and feel strong. As with any new bag, it is a bit difficult the first few times. Daily usage has eased it.Weight: The bag is light on your shoulders. With the bag filled, the weight feels distributed evenly.Usage: I use it for work and have a few gym clothing stuffed in addition.

I’ve been using this for a few months now. The build quality is great, the rear compartment fits my 15.6 inch Thinkpad and a notebook, the main compartment is cavernous. I can get a large lunchbox, and a large down jacket in it or alternatively all my running gear including my trainers (I’m a 12). It has 2 sprung mesh pockets both of which are big enough for the laptop charger. The rear pocket has pen spaces 2 zip pockets one mesh one not. I can fill all the pockets and still get an A5 hardback notebook in there. I can’t recommend enough.

I have had this backpack for 3+ years of continuous daily use. I use this everyday to work and as a travel an weekend bag. I go everywhere with my work laptop and notes ect. This pack has everything ... extra space for clothes and misc items. Only thing I can think of to add is some sort of plastic or foam to protect laptop from floor. My old Delsey had something like this ... comes in handy when you drop yor bag ... happens every now and then.Overall build Quality is 200% A+++++++++++++ will never go back to Delsey or other brands.
