We’ve finally decided to ditch the rucksacks in favour of cases – not just any old case, but a case with wheels, and one set at each corner! I have researched suitcases for, literally months, ever since we came back from our last trip in February, and finally settled on this one. This case is so light that when it arrived in its big cardboard box I couldn’t imagine what was inside it, as I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be as light as it is. The design of the larger of the two outer pockets is really good, as it opens right around (apart from the bottom edge), but has a gusset to prevent anything falling out. The inner pocket on the lid is really useful, and I like the zipped lining which enables certain items to be separated – shoes, or laundry, for example, and two straps with click-snap fasteners help keep things in place. The zips are all sturdy and work smoothly as does the all-important telescopic handle, which can be fully extended or just to the halfway point. I like the little zipped pocket which conceals the handle when it's folded into the case – a nice touch which provides protection. The wheels are so smooth, rotating a full 360 degrees with no problem. Finally, this case is so light when empty it should easily hold the cabin allowance for most airlines. We initially bought just the one to see what it was like, but I’ll buy another one now I know the quality is this good. My husband has done a dummy packing session to see if he can get all his camera equipment into it. I'm relieved to now that he’s also flung in the odd pair of socks and underwear – it wouldn’t be the first time we've had to go shopping in foreign lands for essential items!Thank goodness someone invented the wheel, and then another someone thought to put them on a suitcase.

I bought this for a quick trip within Europe because I only needed hand-luggage and this easily fits within the published guidelines. In the event I managed to pack everything I needed plus some spares for a four day trip with some capacity in terms of space and weight and found it absolutely great to use. The wheels are quiet and the handle, although a bit shaky was definitely up to task: fitting into the cabin locker was straightforward and easy, as was getting it off again at each end of the journeys. I hummed and ha'd a bit about whether to get this or pay for a hard shell case, but found this more than adequate and suitably protective. The combination lock that comes with it is rubbish, but I never expected it to be anything more: as hand luggage, you don't actually need to lock the case anyhow. All-in-all, a good case that I am pleased with and fit for purpose.

As the headline says. good value for money. My wife and I recently used two of these travel bags on a short trip to Italy and they performed very well. The only issue that we found which probably needs some remedial attention is the retractable handle mechanism. It was very difficult to keep the extended handle in the extended position while wheeling the item across the airport concourse. The slightest pressure on the handle caused it to retreat back towards the closed position which was a little frustrating when using the 360 degree wheel capability. This issue occurred on BOTH bags and I need to refer this back to the manufacturer, through the seller, in the near future.Apart from that they are a really good item to have and certainly hold sufficient baggage for any serious long week end away in uk or Europe.

Bought these almost a year ago, very lightweight, value for money and fits most cabin hold requirements. However, last time we used them one of the back wheels was damaged, still useable but difficult to pull. To be honest the same thing could easily happen to the cases that cost twice as much. Messaged the supplier and they responded really quickly and after sending them photos of the damage they replaced the case with next day delivery. Really pleased with the case - which has a 10 year guarantee - and the level of customer service received. I would definitely buy from them again.

I bought this Aerolite for a short break to the Canaries where I didn't want or need hold baggage. It is sized deliberately to satisfy the requirements of the fussiest no-frills airlines (ie Ryanair, Wizz). And it really really is light, under 2 kilos when empty. It has made several trips since and performed brilliantly. Zippers are decent quality though I recommend using silicone spray on them regularly (what divers use to keep their wet-suit zippers from jamming). Wheels are still on and not too degraded. Compartments (one main, two flat on the outside) are sensibly designed.

Really light to carry and easy to manoeuvre about. I bought the case so I could have a 5 day break in Scotland without having to check in luggage. It's maybe not quite as big as I'd expected but I easily managed to fit everything I needed inside, including walking boots, spare trousers and jumpers and tops and wash things - being Scotland the weather could do anything so I had to cater for all eventualities, and this case did the job perfectly. Also liked the zipped compartments - ideal for keeping travel documents to hand. Very happy with my new case.

Absolutely excellent. Now have a set of 3 cases and for storage purposes they all fit inside each other. Very useful to have the external pocket where you can slip inside your Eticket and passport without having to rummage through your handbag or the bottom of a bag. Robust, sturdy. Just came back from 3 weeks in Africa with the set of cases. Very convenient for slipping into overhead lockers and conforms to the Airline's sizes for bags. Much lighter weight than other cases on the market. Glad I did my research before purchasing.

Having just used this for a trip to London with Flybe I can confirm it definitely fits in their size checker (many people were forced to pay £50 to check a bag that did not fit!).It’s very lightweight and surprisingly roomy for a small bag. The main zip sticks a little and I was worried it was going to stop working but it didn’t.I wheeled this on a 15 minute walk from the station to home and the wheels seem sturdy but it’s also so lightweight it is very easily carried tooAll in all very happy with this little case

Bought this case because for the first time ever I wanted to travel with carry on luggage only. Due to the light weight and spaciousness of this case it was achievable with a little space left over. Liked the way it stayed upright when not supported as my other small case falls over. External pockets for things you need to access easily. There was nothing to dislike about this case. Aiming to go carry on as much as possible in future as long as the other airlines don't follow Ryan Airs new policy.

The luggage fits my needs exactly! I was looking for a carry on luggage that fit Ryanair size limitations, could roll well with 4 wheels, and sturdy enough. Ideally, I was looking for an expandable luggage but I could not find anything on Amazon. I have traveled on a few trips with this luggage and the luggage moves well and packs well without any issues. Highly recommend!I also dealt with customer service who was always prompt in their responses and handled the issue well, thanks!

Nice, lightweight (packed for a cold, long weekend and still under 7kg which makes life so much easier for lugging around and putting into overhead lockers - also fits nicely longways, top facing out), exterior material appears tough enough (lighter, interior lining might snag over time).Handle OK & rolls well.Minor scare when lock wouldn't open with code entered although since the lock is so insubstantial; it could be broken open by hand.(ie don't bother with the lock!)

I have the 2-wheel version of this case, and it has become my most-used case. Indeed, I still have the larger (mid-sized) version which has given many years' service, though so hard has it worked, the wheels are now a little loose; however, the case is still fully serviceable. Aerolite is not a much-celebrated name in luggage, but these cases are fully the equal of Antler or Rock - and indeed of some of the prestige names as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Very pleased with this. Used it a couple of times for work trips requiring over night stays and it's brilliant. Very light compared to the other travel bag I was using and tons of space. Even for me as I can never "travel light" not even over night. Wheels are fine. No issues. Very compact so fits in the car along with all the kit I have to take everywhere I go (I'm an environmental consultant). Very happy with purchase and highly recommend.

Excellent lightweight cabin bag.Just taken it on an Alaskan cruise and a train journey across the USA with no issues.Good smooth wheels making it very easy to drag, push and pull. Straps for fitting over extendable handle on larger suitcase.Great zip storage pockets.I definitely put it through it’s paces with absolutely no issues.Thinking about getting another for my partners ageing carry on.Buy one, you will not be disappointed.

This case looks and feels very strong with a nice design. My son travels a lot and his previous case had a single pulley handle which did not last very long. This one has a double handle which is more sturdier. It also has two outer pockets which he finds very useful as he travels with his laptop and various other bits and pieces. Its also very easy to pull as its wheels travels in all directions. Would recommend.
