As a huge fan of Singleton of Dufftown 12 yo, I couldn't wait to try these new expressions when they were first released, namely Spey Cascade, Tailfire and Sunray.Whilst Spey Cascade and Tailfire were both readily available in local supermarkets I found it harder to track this one down, however it was worth the effort and the wait.This is possibly the most honeyed whisky I've ever tasted, it's almost like a whisky liqueur however is distinguishably not given it still packs the punch of a malt whisky in it's own right. Prior to this Dalwhinnie 15 was the most honeyed whisky I'd had and it was the one that started my love affair with Scotch whisky in the first place so I absolutely loved this.Because of its liqueur type qualities it makes for an awesome Christmas whisky,

I have bought this as a Christmas gift and I was disappointed that it didn't come in a presentation box - I'd purchased the companion malt, 'Tailfire', a couple of years ago and it did arrive in a presentation box. I'd also expect one with this class of single malt. Inside the Amazon packaging, the whisky was in a brown UPS box, with the UPS lettering on the side, with a label at the top - however when I opened it, the whisky had been placed in the box upside down. It seems fine and I'm not going to return it as too much hassle but still... disappointed with how it arrived.

I bought a lot of different bottles over the Christmas period and drank them all (with friends.....) I bought some bottles in the triple digit range, some well known others less so. This was my favourite and the most “drinkable”. The flavours are soft caramel, toast and Dried fruit. It’s got a nice long finish and I will definitely buy from this distillery again.

I cannot fault anything about this lovely malt, it's very smooth and with just a hint of sweetness. It is very vey nice and my whisky buddies love it. The super fast delivery was amazing...... Thank you

Absolutely delicious the honey tones this whiskey reminds me of the Dalwhinnie 15-year-old like the other guy said top-class. ??

If you're like me and like a 'sweeter' single malt then give this a go. Good value for money. Didn't last long.

Excellent single malt. The oval shaped bottle is a thing of beauty and feels good in the hand.
