I own 2 of these filters. One in a 64L, the other is in a 100L.They work great. There was an issue when I first installed the filter and there was a lot of noise coming from it. I soon learnt from various forums that it's best to get rid of the air bubbles in the filter and cartridge.Just remove the cartridge, placing it, and the filter under the water, inverting it upside down etc to remove any trapped air bubbles. Click the cartridge back into place under the water and you're done.....no noisy filter. It also gets quieter over time when the naturally slimey stuff in your tank coats all the moving parts inside the filters propeller. You can also pull out the stopper from the end of the pipe to further reduce noise.I am a light sleeper,

I have never kept fish before so my experience of filters is limited only to this, however, the fish were swiftly relegated to the hall based on the noise. This is one water feature that did not help to relax. Having said that I do like the concept of clicking in the cartridges and have had no problems with clogging, personally or in the tank. I do only have a 24 litre tank and 5 fish within. 3 Zebra Fish and 2 Metallic Barbs. If I talk to them they don't respond and I suspect this is due to the noise of the filter, however, I can still see them even toward the end of the month and I guess that crowns the filter with glory. It does what its supposed to.

i have purchased this as a backup on my 100ltr tank,tried it out for the first time today,i must say this is quite a powerful filter you can adjust the flow with the valve provided.the cartridge filter tends to pop of away from the power head something you have to look out for when you have cleaned and put back in the tank,the pump is a little noisy at first but having the superfish 200 i found that after a while it will quieten down when the impellor gets a coating of slime sort of self lubricating.these will give you crystal clear water given time time to start working after a couple of days.for the price they are quite good filters.

I've always used an Aqua Flow 100 filter in my tank, as the actual filter foam with it's internal cavity for activated carbon is so easy to clean. Unclip the cartridge from the filter, remove the end cap, take out the foam and wash in tank water when doing a water change; job done. The 100 itself is pretty much bomb proof and the weakest link is always going to be the foam media. Like all things, the foam doesn't last forever, so this 2 pack of filter cartridges is a welcome addition to my "fish box".Easy to use and a bargain price, these will keep my filter working at it's best. I hope this review has been helpful.

I bought the aqua filter for my fish tank and needed a good filter and found one. I decided to buy the filters to go with it. It has now been a month and have now changed the filter. I was skeptical easy click ha! but it was that easy to do. The cartridges do a smashing job will be buying more. Thank you so much for such a good product I hope others find the aqua filter and cartridges as easy as we have to use.

Have two baby turtles that needed a good filter as they are very messy!First pump (wasn’t the same make) was faulty...When I purchased this one, it wouldn’t pump stood upright. But figured as water had to be pretty low, this was why.I read it could go fully submerged. So I laid it down horizontally. And it’s worked a dream!No more replacing water daily with horrible smells!Definitely recommend ??

I stick with these as tried a few other brands but find they are so hard to clean, these click cartridges are great you can clean it fast and no messing, I would give it a 5 star but these do slip into the tank a lot and also need cleaning regularly but that's ok i manage, they give off a good water flow and the reason I stick with them is they do run really well .

These are good little filters. We use them in our turtles tank. Turtles are quite messy animals and knackered filters quicker. But the filter it self is very good. Because we have all diff sizes fish tank I think we havent tryed only the biggest of all options. And the rest are perfect. So if you have aqva up to 100l internal filtration is ok.

My excellent Fluval filter finally died after four years and I expected to have to pay £35-40 to replace it. However after replacing the £80 hood light through eBay for less than a tenner (multicoloured LEDs) I found this pump at a great price.I like the cassette idea for the filter which is also cheaper to change than the big makers are.

A very quick and easy to use sponge/cartridge system.When cleaning the carbon sponges be carefull with the smaller sponge in the middle - underneath this is lots of plastic carbon pieces.It takes just a couple of minutes to rinse the sponge under the tap or in a bucket of hot water.Always keep the sponge upright.

Great filter, very quiet. Comes apart easily for cleaning. As per previous review do not change the filter sponge as is suggested, just the carbon inside. I have my spraybar so the the water comes out horizontal and creates great surface movement which is good for oxygen-carbon dioxide exchange

I recently purchased the Flow 200 as an upgrade for my Flow 100. It is bigger and the filters cost a little more, but it's a really good piece of equipment. It creates a nice flow of water in the tank keeping the fish happy (I think?).I would certainly buy one again, especially at this price.

I Have recently purchased the Superfish filter and these cartridges work superbly and are very easy to replace in the filter. I have only had to change the filter once in over a month, just need to rinse the filter once a week and the tank stay nice and clear.

Great filter.Bought for my smaller tank to filter water faster and it's great.Was very noisy to begin with but now it's silent.Every so often it will be loud for a few seconds and after water changes it can be loud but it always reverts back to silence.

Inherited some large goldfish who came with a tank and filter but they seemed to be struggling so replaced the filter with the Super Aqua filter and almost immediately they seemed happier and healthier. Would have appreciated clearer instructions though
