JBL Reflect Flow Sport - True Wireless In-EarFor many years I have been a huge admirer of JBL products, in particular their speakers. From day one, when I first become hooked on music, JBL speakers were the speakers I aimed to strive for. Over the years this company have built up a huge reputation for quality products. With this in mind, I couldn't accept this product fast enough when it was offered to me by Amazon.I have had many blue-tooth rechargeable headphones/ear buds over the past few years. To be honest, only a small percentage of those have lived up to my expectations. When these arrived, I was pleased to find that the packaging at least, met my expectations. The headphones arrived very nicely presented within a tough storage box, a clear plastic cover displays the headphones within. I'm not normally one to become excited over packaging, but the excellent packaging was hopefully an indication of the quality of headphones that were held within. Although this was very nicely presented, it did take me quite a while to work out how to actually get into the packaging without destroying it.Once removed from the box I found not only the headphones which were neatly held in their charging case. I also found two further sets of ear buds, along with two sets of ear hooks, each offering a different size to try. Also included was a short USB charging cable. The charging case is not just a case for charging the headphones. It also contains a power-bank which stores power, thus charging the earbuds every time they are placed in the case. The case holds enough stored power to recharge the earbuds for up to 20 hours before you need to recharge the case. A row of LEDs illuminate showing how much power is remaining. Four lights mean that the case is fully charged. This is bigger than similar cases that I have owned, the same can be said of the headphones which are also quite large. The charging case is well made, it has a spring loaded cover that pops down tightly when closed.Inside the charging case you will find the headphones neatly slotted inside two specially shaped holders. Underneath are the copper contacts which are used to keep the headphones fully charged. Each ear piece displays a red light when it's in the case and is charging. Once removed, the light changes to a blue flashing light, this indicates they are in pairing mode. Once paired the blue light remains constant. After removing the headphones from the charging case, I found them to be much larger than other similar earbuds that I have tried. These are also a lot heavier than all that I've tried before. The build quality really is excellent, it's clear that the larger body of the headphones must hold a serious size speaker. With this in mind, I couldn't wait to give these a test run. After pairing with my phone, I slid each one into my ears. I am pleased to say, these were very comfortable to wear, they also seem to stay securely in place. These are the first ear-bud type headphones that have actually remained in my ears, this is without the need for me to keep poking them back in every few minutes or so. I don't know if it's the extra weight, the type of earbud silicone used, or just precise engineering? But, these stay put and are very comfortable to wear. What do they sound like?Well, in a nutshell.. these sound amazing! Most headphones I have tried recently seem to be bass heavy, I'm sure many love them, but I'm no fan of bass heavy headphones. I record and mix my own music, I like to hear my music as I intend it to sound. Bass heavy speakers interfere with that sound, changing the music from how I intend it to sound. Absolutely not so with these JBL Reflect Flow Sport headphones. The sound is crisp and clear, every note, high frequency or low frequency sound absolutely perfect. Nothing is lost, every detail is crystal clear. JBL certainly have lived up to all my expectations with these headphones, in fact they have far exceeded those expectations. Not only do these sound great, they also have some useful features. These are IPX7 rated, this means they will not be affected by water or sweat. Another feature is hands free operation, by using just one button, you can take calls or control your music. Bionic hearing will automatically adjust your music volume, keeping you aware of your surroundings whilst jogging, or chatting to friends whilst wearing the headphones. Lastly, the blue-tooth connection is rock solid, I have suffered no dropouts whatsoever, there is absolutely no interference, humming or crackles that I could detect. These really are top quality headphones with a top quality sound. If you are after bass heavy headphones, then you may wish to look elsewhere (or EQ the sound). These are geared up more for the audiophile who wants to listen to their music the way it is meant to be listened to. The sound is not coloured by any fancy gimmicks, just top quality speakers delivering top quality sound.Yes, the headphones may seem a little pricey at first glance, but I feel these are worth every penny of the asking price. In my opinion, quality costs money and these are pure quality.Highly Recommended!Contents:1 X JBL Reflect sport headphones3 X Various size ear tips3 X Various size freebit1 x Charging case1 x Charging cable1 x Quick start guide1 x Warranty card1 x Safety instructionsIf you have found my review at all helpful, I would very much appreciate if you could please click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

I am listening to these as I write this review - I have to say I am really impressed with these little ear buds. I've used over ear headphones in the past, and the in-ears that I've used in the past have always lacked the sound quality I longed for, but along came the Reflect Flow's and the game has most definitely moved on.First impressions are really good. The box is a stylish flip top charging until, and the buds snap in nicely using magnets...seem to hold really firmly and the case generally is unobtrusive when you carry it around. The back of the case has a useful LED display to show remaining batter charge, with a Micro USB port....rivals have started to use USB-C which would have been better but it didn't affect me at all really. All in all a good start...The fit took me a while to get right, and to be honest I still can't get it completely comfortable. As we're all different, there is always going to be variation in this so tricky to really give JBL too much stick for this - it comes with 3 different versions of both the ear cups and the "fins" for want of a better word. I found these a bit uncomfortable, and if you're using for a commute they aren't really necessary. I would say however that they are particularly good when on the move - I took these out at the weekend on a XC Mountain Bike loop and they didn't budge; I was worried these would get dislodged but I was really impressed. Sweat resistance is good as well given that these are waterproof to IPX7.The sound quality is excellent. The clarity is superb - the acoustic guitar Everlong by The Foo Fighters was really detailed. It's biased to the lows rather than mids or highs, but the drus on my dance music tracks were well defined and tight, and generally the sounds is well balanced. I am more impressed than I expected to be and they are really enjoyable to listen to.I made a few phone calls using them as well and calls were clear, and the people I was speaking to said I sounded clear to them too so another tick. The other gripe - you can't adjust the volume on the earbuds themselves, which is a pain. Also the buttons for the ambient sound options (which is ok but don't really use it) are firm rather than touch....you end up pushing them further into your ear which can be painful. So they aren't the most comfortable for me on longer listens, but if you really want comfort over everything then get over ears. For portability, commuting, battery life, sound quality - these are an excellent choice.

Although I own a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 Over-Ear headphones I decided I wanted a pair of earbuds for occasional use. I wasn’t willing to stretch to the Sony WF-1000XM3s and bought these JBL Reflect Flow Sport earbuds instead to use with my Moto G Android phone and Sony Walkman music player. This is my take on these JBL Reflect Flow earbuds -Pros- Well presented with a neat, robust charging case, alternative size ear fittings – both wings and tips (medium are pre-fitted), large and small are in the box plus a USB micro charging lead. The mainly visual user guide is clear and will get you up and running.- You need to invest time in ensuring a good physical fit – the better the seal between the earbud and your ear canal the better the sound is – in particular, the bass.- Once fitted properly the earbuds stay in place during exercise.- I like the sound quality but depending on your taste it might need shaping with an equaliser, the bass is taut, mid-range has plenty of presence whilst the upper range is clear and not too harsh. Despite reports, I don’t think the bass is particularly prevalent, it’s dynamic, realistic and not too boomy.- Call handling is good with clear sound in both directions even with ambient noise.- Bluetooth (V5.0) connection is easy with LED indication, the range is decent and reception is largely noise-free and stable.- Controls soon become intuitive for managing calls and music playback (but see below).- The Ambient feature is handy in areas where you need awareness of external sounds.- Battery life is substantial – playing time is around 10 hours and the internal battery in the case adds another 20 hours worth of charge. The buds have charge indicator LEDs plus the case has a four-segment indicator.- The earbuds are waterproof and sweatproof plus have support for voice assistants plus the right hand one can be used singly.- Overall build quality feels good including the case which is very well designed and made.Areas for development- No volume control – control is via the host device.- Not supported by the JBL app.- Physical push button rather than touch controls.- Charging connection is Micro USB rather than USB C.- Ear tips can be a bit fiddly to change but you’ll probably only do it once.- No firmware upgrade instructions that I can see.In summary, I’m very pleased with these JBL Reflect Flow earbuds, they offer good sound quality, comfort, resilience to water, ease of control and strong battery life at a reasonable price point.

After such a long time I finally found a pair of earbuds that actually fit and stay secure in my dodgy ears. No more stopping to pick up or reinsert back in to the ear whilst running on the treadmill. The Bass is staggeringly loud and compliments the rest of the music really well, but with the press of the hidden button on the side of the earbud you can instigate the ambient aware mode. This allows you to hear the outside noise like traffic or talk to someone without taking out the buds. Each bud has a microphone so it will not impede the sound quality when talking on the phone. Had no complaints when taking calls of my voice breaking or any muffling.Overall good clean sound quality in par withhigh end on the ear headphones; with the Bass adding to the sound experience. The Bluetooth was seamless to pair with many devices and reconnected very quickly. The buds lasted for around 8 hours of playtime and managed to fully recharge back with the reserve power in the case leaving me some more charge for later.Coming to the case it has a clean metallic finish with a rubber/silicon like outer casing probably to buffer the case and contents in case it is dropped. The lid locks securely preventing the buds from falling out.At the back of the case underneath the charging port there is a 4 light indicator for the charging status. Slightly disappointed that the latest USB C port and cable was not replaced for the micro USB.Overall not a bad deal with the long battery life, quality of sound, the secure fit in the ears and the waterproof features which I still need to discover.

UPDATE: After 3 months of using them I started noticing a malfunction when charging them. It seems like the charging pins inside the case don't catch correctly the right earbud, hence it doesn't charge. I have to take it out and place it bad, jiggle it a bit, in order to find the right position. This is annoying and I've contacted help support. Let's see what solution they find.ORIGINAL REVIEW:They're a bit chunky/ intrusive in the ear. Not the smallest neither the lightest pair of earbuds. Though, these defects are balanced with the their higly secure fit. The in-ear bud and rubber wing secure the earbud in place, firmly, providing a bit of noice cancellation as well. The sound is really good.Even without active noise cancellation the earbud isolate yourself from the surroundings, immersing you in your fav tunes.Look really good when worn.Useful the "talk-through" functionality. The earbuds use a physical button to get instructions, they're not touch. Though the button is cushioned in a way that it doesn't annoy when pressed. Indeed, I'm quite happy with this physical button, since it doesn't catches random touches as instructions, as a touch earbud would, and it's comfortable to press. It has to be said that the earbuds lose connection at times. Generally between the first 5 minutes of connection, more likely when using a laptop. It has happened to me roughly once every 10 times, on average. I've been using the earbuds for 1 month.Very good battery life!!Happy with the purchase. Even if the product has some defects, its qualities are more relevant.

I was expecting good things from these ear buds, especially from a respected brand like JBL, but unfortunately I have a good few niggles.Firstly the instructions are somewhat confusing, but connected fine. The sound is pretty good, with exceptionally good bass. You have to change volume from your device which is a bit annoying - you can't do from the buds. Using controls (pause/next etc) takes a bit of getting used to.My really big niggle with these is that it is impossible to power them off when they are in the case. The instructions imply that as soon as you place them back in the case, and close the lid, they turn off. They don't! You can manually turn off whilst out of the case, but as soon as you put them back in the case, they power on again. If you manually power off with them in the case, they immediately power on again. Pretty rubbish really. Maybe this is a defective item, I can't believe this is how they are meant to be.Sadly, can't really recommend these.Battery life is fineUPDATE: I have found that actually the ear buds DO turn off once returned to the case, but there is a lapse of time before they do, but they do after a while. I would now recommend these for consideration, notwithstanding the other (relatively minor) niggles above

I've always been a fan of JBL products and this installment did not dissapoint. The earbuds shipped on time and came in mint condition even though I purchased them via the amazon warehouse.Sound quality is good, in my opinion deeper and clearer than apple airpods however mids could be a little more emphasised. They aren't going to sound as good as they're Bose counterparts but they're impressive for the price non the less. The fit for me was excellent, if its not for you the earbuds ship with other size tips that should be OK for every ear size. Now the case is pretty good and although plastic feels solid and has survived a few drops. My one issue with it is the metal hinge,I personally feel like JBL could have made it the same colour as the body so that it's seamless and more flushed but it's not causing any issues. Magnets also appear strong and reliable.Against the Jlab Air theese sound better. My main problem with this product is the latency issues, I've noticed that occasionally the actions are faster than the audio in YouTube videos and games. Usually after reconnecting this is fixed.

Fit and comfort:The earbuds did come out after a while, it fits nicely but my ears are quite small so it did fee quite big even with the smallest size. It was very comfortable to wear and did feel quite loose but it was nicely secure.Sound:The bass was good, these earbuds gave me the punchy bass that i wanted and sound isolation was good. As i put them in the sound around me drowned. They dont have noise cancellation but it seems like they do. The call quality was very good aswell.Downside:They dont have a volume button so when i want to make it louder i would have to get my phone out. When i went shopping i wouldn't be able to hear myself or the cashiers voice so i would have to take them outbut it is a good thing because the seal is good.My overall thoughts:These were much cheaper because of the sale but they are worth the price. They are very good and sound quality was perfect and i would not even go back to airpods, i get that the Airpod pros have newer features but these earbuds give me what i want

I have tried few earbuds. I have a Jabra ones (more expensive) and some cheaper ones. That ones are really easy to put in your ears. They are really comfortable. My girlfriend only use this ones. They are the only ones that fit to her ears, she is happy with them.Describing the quality sound I have to say that is really balanced between bass and sharp notes. I could say that are very similars to Jabra ones...The battery life is very long. My girlfriend have been using them since we received it and she haven’t charge them yet, but she doesn’t use them too much every day.The only thing I would say is about the cancellation noise. If you are listening music it is perfect. You don’t listen anything around you but if not you hear everything... nothing really bad because normally if you are wearing them it is because your are listening music ?

Reasonable quality from these earbuds. I always have difficulty keeping them in but that’s a personal issue. They look good and were easy to set up. There’s many of these earbud types on the market at the moment and these are average. You’ll never get the sound you find in proper closed cup, noise cancelling phones but these are designed for freedom and a minimalistic approach. Don’t expect miracles, but the sound quality was reasonable. The battery life is pretty good and the method of charging (in the box) is pretty standard by now. JBL reckon you get 4 hours of play time with 12 extra hours via the battery but I never achieved this – just slightly short. My personal preference is for something more substantial but these serve a good purpose – they’re unobtrusive, small to carry around and look cool. What more can you ask for?

This pair of wireless in-ear headphones is made with utmost attention to details, from design to execution. They come in a sleek little box, which is also the charger. There are little LEDs indicating the progress of charging. There are three different sized ear pieces but I am using the default ones. These are easily the most comfortable in-ear headphones I have ever tried and I have tried many. I wear them for jogging and also for working in the garden and they sit very securely, without giving me any pain or discomfort even after a few hours. The quality of the sound is excellent, the best in-ear wireless headphones I have used, almost as good as wired, over the ear counterparts, apart a slight under delivery in the lower bass section. But already quite impressive.Overall, a premium product with a matching price tag.

These in-ear headphones are quite comfortable for long periods of use and were tried for over 4 hours at a time and the battery lasted the full 4 hours with a further 16-hour extra battery usage using the case.Setting up with the device is very easy. The case is well designed and sturdy plus good looking. The easy button function play/pause skip song, Google Siri assistant answer calls are all positive. You can use both earbuds which work together well or separately. The charge cable is too short so have to use a longer one but this really isn't too much of a problem because most people have this type of charger for one device or more. The base is too profound at high volume but tolerable. A good, though not perfect, set of ear phones, in comparison to other models of a similar price but the sound is very good,

These come beautifully presented and partly charged. They come with 3 pairs of hearing fitments and a charging cable. The instruction leaflet is mainly pictorial and confusing. In good quality earphones i do expect a high quality instruction booklet, I gained most information from the web page However hard I tried I could not get them to sit comfortably in my ears. I am what is called petite but have used many different types of these both cheap and expensive and the smallest one has always fitted me well sadly not this time. my husband tried them and said the sound was superb. He also found that yes he could talk to me while listening to music. we dd not try phone calls.I have only deducted 1 point for the fail to include good instruction and lack os fitting me because the sound is so good

A decent set of head phones quality wise, well made and good bass, set up easily. Having tried out a lot neater fitting head phones than these they seem and feel a bit clunky in my ears. Three sizes of ear tips to make sure you get the right fit for your ears are included . I have had a hike wearing these in adverse weather and the rain never bothered their performance and walking in the town centre the noisy traffic was no problem. The sound quality is decent and the playing time around 4 hours and extra 12 hours battery case power. I could not control the volume using buds but needed to change volume from my device which I found annoying. I do prefer the smaller, neater ones on the market but that is just my preference, not bad but a lot of competition out there at this price range.

Looking at other reviews I can see that these aren't the most popular wireless earphones out there, but I have no complaints at all. Maybe I should mention that I haven't had much experience with wireless headphones so I may not have the frame of reference of other reviewers, but these tick all the boxes for me. The sound quality is quite good - they aren't especially loud but I don't think they ought to be. It is way too easy to damage hearing with in-ear phones! They are pretty comfortable though after a couple of hours I do get tired of having them in my ears. They look good, are very easy to set up and have a battery life of 4 hours, plus another 12 from the very fancy charging storage box.I guess £80 is a lot for headphones but from my POV, they do represent value for money.
