This item came with others but unfortunately it was badly packaged and the interior glass container was smashed on delivery. I ordered a second one from elsewhere and that was extremely well packaged.The jug came with safety instructions but no other instructions other than to avoid putting boiling water directly into it and to not use abrasive cleaners on the glass.As far as I can see, once you have put the lid on, you can't get it off again without turning the whole thing upside down. I don't know what the little knob is on the outside but presume it is for replacing the vacuum glass. There is an alternative stopper that completely seals the jug and you are advised to use it when there are

My last vacuum jug started leaking some time ago, I disposed of it and had been looking ever since to replace it. Then I saw the Stelton one, it was love a first sight! So stylish, it wins every time in the looks department! But what makes this vacuum jug better than any other is just how long it stays hot! I filled it with boiling water on day one, left it, checked on day two, and the water scalded my finger! Day three, and the water was still so hot that it would have been perfectly ok for a nice, hot instant coffee! That's quality! Needless to say that I am very pleased with it.

Some of the reviews here say it doesn't keep the contents warm. I simply can't agree with that. We've had it for about six months, and it's consistently and properly hot even hours after the contents have been added. Indeed, I've got home from work and when emptying to wash up, the contents are still pretty warm (you wouldn't want to drink it, though...)Looks great, performs really well.

Overall I like this product - it looks good and keeps over a litre of coffee hit for a good while (3 hours). My one negative comment would be that at times liquid seems to end up at the bottom of the flask between the outer and inner vessel which is a bit of a pain as then it sometimes leaks as you pour... That said it is extremely easy to take apart, clean, dry and put back together.

We have several of the Stelton vacuum jugs. This one was for a present. We have to buy the particular funnel for the filter papers when we go to Denmark. We make filter coffee straight into them. They keep the coffee very fresh and hot for a good hour

Allows you to make a big batch of filter coffee, keep it hot and not end up with the stewed nastiness that comes from keeping on a hot plate.

Love this. Since lockdown we use it every day - fresh hot coffee all morning. Other flasks haven't kept things warm as well. Mega fans here.

Very stylish look, keeps hot drinks for a good amount of time, only down side is the lid as it falls when you open and pour.
