The Soehnle 15kg digital kitchen scales comes in an easy-open box that can be used as a storage box for the scales. Included with the scales are two AAA alkaline batteries and a pictorial instruction leaflet.The scales are well made and smoothly finished. The weighing area measures 20cm x 26cm. It is all flat and made of glass. The underneath is plastic. There are no recessed buttons, everything is smooth and easy to clean. The scales have four non-slip feet. On the underneath is a button to change between the metric and Imperial weight units.The scales are easy to turn on or off with a simple tap on the marked area on the glass top plate. They will automatically turn off after about 4 minutes of no use.

I am delighted with these scales. I have had Soehnle Attraction kitchen scales for a few years and love their small size and the fact that all the control presses are on the front.These scales are larger, though still very skinny and their size still allows storage at the back of the shelf where I store my bread flower, o NOT a problem. In fact, the size is, for me, a major plus over the others, where a bowl of quite modest size could obscure the reading panel: moving the bowl off centre risks unbalancing things.These scales also have a hold option to retain a reading for a while, which can be very useful. There are no fluid ounce or litre options on the Evolution scales, just imperial and metric weights,

Just received it, and before anything else - I like it very much and I definitely recommend it. Took me some time to decide on a scale and this one seem to be just fine. I played with it for a while to test it and here's my conclusion:What I like:* I like the top glass and the touch area which are responsive - there top is a single piece so no danger of liquids inside the device* Came with two AAA batteries - no CR2302 expesive buttons* Tested with different weights and seem to be consistent and precise* Looks solid enoughWhat I don't like:* The HOLD function is not very intuitive, as you have to open the device, press 3 seconds the HOLD then weight.

Fantastic ( shes says while throwing her old jamie oliver elec scales out the window and into the bin) no more difficult cleaning, no gaps and crevices to collect flour and other baking crude !No more bending at angles to see under a large bowl to get my weight. No more decanting into bowls as this bad boy offers up to 15kg which for me is a godsend.Fabulous looking wipe clean slim and easy to store and works perfectly. Super accurate and even holds onto the weight for ten seconds if you wanna remover a large bowl to see !!!!These scales are my new best friend. We may even holiday together they are that damn good and they are gonna need a holiday once i start baking up a storm..Treat yourself

This is the best set of kitchen scales we've had so far. Weighing items up to 15Kg, pretty good in itself when compared to previous digital scales I've used, the base is pretty large giving you far more space to weight large bowls and things on plates.We have relegated our smaller scales to weighing out the dog food for the day now as these have taken over as our main kitchen scale. The readout is clear and precise with a really useful hold function to hold the value in order for you to keep a check of it or to look at if if you have items that are large enough to go over the display when weighing.The LCD display is very clear, unlike some smaller scales which have tiny displays.

Wow - this really is the daddy of kitchen scales! It's a bit larger than you might be thinking but that just means that you can get so much onto it (especially useful if using for postal as there is also a delayed feature so if you can't see the display when your parcel is on top you can see it once it's been taken off for a few seconds. Genius idea!)Aesthetically they look amazing, sleek and stylish and very easy to clean. The weight can go up to 15kilos! That's a ridiculous amount for some kitchen scales and takes this to almost heavy duty usage!No more putting stuff on the bathrooms scales for us!These aren't cheap, but you won't need any other scales after these so they may be an investment,

A very easy to set up and use kitchen scale; the Soehnle Page is slim, operates on two AAA alkaline batteries, has simple to understand on/off buttons and adjustable settings to allow for any container used during the weighing process or a “hold” function to allow a larger item to be weighed. It has an ounces/grams setting button on the underside.The weighing platform itself is a rather nice smoked glass plate and the unit size is 8"x 10 ½ ". It`s a nice lightweight item and it can be stored upright anywhere when not required.Measurements seem accurate.I'm very pleased with it; it looks good and is eminently functional, ideal for my kitchen and at a fair price for such a useful item.

For me, the selling point on these Scales is the HOLD function. We do weight bulky items that cover the Display and with our other scales, it's been a nightmare. I had no idea there are scales that will keep the reading for a number of seconds after the items are removed from the Scales. The other great thing about these Scales is that they can weigh up to 15Kg. We have had scales that are physically larger than these but all had a 5Kg limit. So 15Kg is very generous for relatively small scales.In terms of build-quality, they have a premium feel and look. They are very sensitive to touch, making operation effortlessly.

Sleek, good-looking, sturdy kitchen scales, though drops a star for being slightly heavier than expected. I like the way you can set the display to stay on once you take the item off, which makes it useful for weighing bigger things like packages to put in the post. The LED display is clear and the fact that it takes normal batteries is a big bonus. On the front it says 'on', 'off', 'hold' and 'tare' - no idea what 'tare' means...!

This is a sleek, elegant set of scales which would look great in a modern, minimalist kitchen. The scales are easy to set up and simple to use. My only reservation is the size, which is comparable to that of an iPad. They really take up a lot of space on the work surface and I wonder how many people need scales this big. I think you'd need to be cooking on an industrial scales to need these.

Unfortunately the article description didn't give the scale dimensions, so when I bought this it turned out to be too large for our kitchen. I returned it and got the smaller Soehnle scale in white instead.That said, this scale is excellent, the usual top notch Soehnle quality and of beautiful design. I like that it can weigh up to 15kg and in increments of 1g.

i found this a really good scale. some reviewers comment on the awkward position of the switch to change between metric and imperial. im not sure what they are making but i didnt have this problem as i generally stick to just metric. its easy to use, easy to read and has a large weighing capacity. Simple, capable and effective.

Sleek looks, easy to keep clean and a clear and easy to read display. I found this easy to use and change between oz and grams. It is responsive when I press the buttons, and the memory function is a useful tool when I want to weigh items for posting as opposed to baking. I like it very much.

German quality as usual.... having the button to change from metric to imperial on the back not helpful, but a good addition....Easy clean wipe, looks the part in the kitchen....Now where is that recipe?...

Look good and easy to use. Powered by sensible batteries. Much better than the Salter scales which these replaced which lasted about two months even though they were on average used just once a day.
