This is an extremely nice and affordable kitchen scale. Its dial is large enough and very visible; furthermore, its accurate to about 10g. But I wouldn't use to measure gold with it. It looks very nice in my kitchen and I think it would be nice in any kitchen. It is nice and neat and shiny. However, there is one drawback. Although it is able to measure up to 3kg, the stainless bowl provided with it is too small for 3kg of flour which, I presume, would be the most common item to weigh in the kitchen. Although at first I thought it would be too small for my needs (the bowl looks more than full with 200g of flour),

These scales are a useful size for smaller quantities and are reasonably accurate. The mechanism moves freely without sticking, which is more than one can say for some cheap scales. The divisions are 20g which allow estimation to the nearest 10g. They are also OK for Imperial weight measurement but there will be a difficulty if accurate measurements are needed as that scale is not in pounds and ounces but in pounds and tenths, so each subdivision is 1.6 ounces. Obviously designed in a country where ounces are unknown. So, a good value product but problematic if you prefer old-fashioned recipes.

Good for baking as a hobby - great for me. Pretty and easy to use. Accurate - I have made many cakes using this, and they've all turned out great. I wouldn't use it if what you're doing needs very precise measurements as it's a little hard to tell sometimes - and a digital one might be better. Also, the dish is pretty small, so not good if you're making a large recipe (i.e. the flour for 12 cupcakes is as much as it can handle!) But, if you just enjoy baking, it'll probably be grand!

I bought this for my girlfriend who likes to bake - hey, it's what she said she wanted OK.Anyway, I haven't used it but she has used it a lot and thinks its great.Classic design, sturdy, easily readable dial.She did say the bowl/pan on top could be larger (she says that about a lot of things !) but she's got no complaints overall.I would buy another but it doesn't look like I need to as it seems very durable.

I wanted a kitchen scales that had a retro twist but not pay expensive prices. When I found this product I knew it was ideal for me. I received my order quickly and it was well packaged. It needs the tray to be screwed onto the top of the scales and then you are ready to go. I love the design and I wanted a black one to contrast with my kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone

These scales are sturdy and well made, and unlike another reviewer I found their capacity perfectly satisfactory. My only small grumble is that a lip on the bowl would help prevent spillage when transferring the contents to another container. However, this wouldn't prevent me from buying the same again as they are excellent value. Highly recommended.

Very good price and super fast delivery. Scales work well and are metal so don't look cheap. Smaller than I thought and you would need to weigh out a few times when cooking large quantities. They are more than adequate for the amount of cooking and baking I do.

The Premier Housewares Retro style scales are in my opinion a top quality product.They are well made and robust and very sensitive to small amonts of material which a lot of products of this type are not. Good job well done.

use this every day to measure out porridge and other food items. its brilliant. much better than digital scaes in my opinion. the pink is really nice and my mrs' loves it too. takes up no space at all when stored away.

The looks of this scale are amazing, and it works like a charm. The only problem for me being that you have to calibrate the 0 grs from time to time since it kind of gets a little off balance, other than that great.

Nice set of scales this, great if you dont like the little digital ones that I like to use (this is for wives use). With these mechanical scales you cannot reset scale to zero as you weigh ingredients together.

came on time and well packaged.scales are light and easily washed.the only down side is that can't weigh more than 150 grams of flourotherwise it spills on to the kit.surface but if you know this you cope.

Simple reliable and nice to look at. I got annoyed at my digital scales always running out of batteries halfway through a recipe and costing £2.20 to replace each time. These are reliable and sustainable.

I have purchased the vintage style cream kitchen scales, the item arrived within two days of placing the order and was really well packaged. The scales are the perfect size and and great value for money.

Abit fiddley to set up but then you have a v ery nice scales to way all your food with They look really good on my table and they are so acurate when I have to way things for cooking.
