I have had these for a few weeks and I am very pleased with them.They are quick to respond, sensitive to small changes and consistent - usually giving the same reading for an item removed and replaced.The display is very easy to read and being lower than platform can be read even when a larger plate is being used. They are an big improvement over our previous, now broken, Salter scales which were much slower to respond and not very sensitive. The AAA batteries should work out cheaper too.

I never thought I could be so excited about mere kitchen scales but I am.The size is small so that they fit into a crowded cupboard with ease. I really like being able to use both solid and liquid measures and flip between them. In some reviews I'm aware that a few people find the platform on the too small side, but as I always use bowls or jugs this has not been a problem. If you use large plates for measuring, these may not be for you.As far as I can tell, they are accurate. Recommended.

I bought these scales to replace the cheap ones I got at Aldi which packed up after a short while. I hope these will be worth the extra I paid for them. So far I really like the positive controls which click and respond immediately. 'Touch sensitive' scales I've had in the past were irritating because sometimes they didn't respond, or you had to press for one function and press and hold for a different function. These have separate buttons for 'on/off', 'zero/tare' and 'unit'.

Some reviewers complain they get an error message when they place a heavy bowl on the scale. I can confirm that this error only occurs when you place a large dish on the scale BEFORE you turn it on. To properly tare the scale with a large dish, it must be turned on first with nothing on it. Once the display says zero, you then place the heavy dish on it and tare the scale.I love the small size. Since the display is below the scale, you can still read it with a large dish.

Perhaps I was looking for more precision and had unrealistic expectations, but these aren't very precise to be honest. For example, place an item on the pan 3x and you'll get a different reading each time. Within a ballpark of each other, yes, but not exactly "precision" stuff. They're nice and easy to use, they fell well built, but overall, if precision is the key, I'm not blown away.

This is a very good purchase. It serves the purpose perfectly. Measurements are accurate and the fact that it uses bigger batteries gives it a better performance.The only negative thing is that the weighing tray is slightly small, meaning that you might have to tilt your plate towards the back in order to see the weight on the screen.All in all good purchase for the price paid.

This is an acutely accurate scale with easy navigation between measuring units for solids and liquids. I even use it to measure out liquids in a glass when making quick cocktails. Great function to zero the scale when adding more ingredients. It is petite though I find this perfect for sitting permanently on the worktop not causing clutter. Worth the price for accuracy and design.

Brilliant little scale that is ideal for baking and many other uses. Very easy to use and love the accuracy. Easy to use add and weigh for all in one recipes. Only thing that is potentially a problem is that it is a really small base for weighing so if using a large bowl it would be difficult. It’s great value for money and I would recommend

I have had cheaper Salter scales previously and found them annoying - peculiar batteries, and unresponsive when trying to turn on and off or tare. These new scales are quicker to use and seem pretty reliable. Have yet to see a recipe specifying weight to 0.5 g, but nice to have a better idea of how much i am weighing.

Bought this recently as wanted something I can leave out on the counter top when I have a new kitchen fitted. Great low profile to keep the look sleek and tidy. Lovethe fact you can weigh ingredients one after the other and use the same jug or bowl. Also great that it also measures liquids. Great purchase love it!!

These scales not only look good but are small enough to leave on the kitchen work top all the time . They have a large clear white LCD display and an accuracy down to 0.5 grams. I use these scales many times each day to weigh food and liquids (changing from grams to mls) as part of a calorie controlled diet.

Had to replace our last precision scale (with 2 plates) and this little number is accurate enough for the majority of our needs. If you are looking for micro gram level precision then the larger Heston scale is definitely for you but for those only requiring 0.5g intervals this is for you!

Very small, light and compact scales with easy to read display. Can be used to measure volume of liquids. Accurate to within 0.5g. May be too small for some people but I think they are an ideal size for storage. Seem well made compared to my previous scales. Would easily recommend.

It’s small but don’t let this put you off: it does its job perfectly. Large bowls and pans can fit on and you can see the display easily and it weighs up to around 5kg! Packs away nice and neatly into a drawer and comes with a 15 year guarantee

I needed a scale that could weigh just a few grams of ingredients. This scale certainly does that and according to the instructions will do half grams. The upper limit is 3 kg. The size of the weighing area is quite small but perfect for my needs.
