Actually this is my second purchase of these scales. It was only my carelessness that caused me to have to replace the original. I had the original ones some years and have found them invaluable. Measuring in both metric and imperial units with accuracy to 1 gm, 1ml or 1/8 oz, it is everything you want from a set of kitchen scales . So when I looked to replace them I could find nothing better than my original purchase, I was just pleased they are still made. Apart from their accuracy the other real benefit is that the platform to weigh things on is separate to the digital readout, so if you put a bowl on it that extends beyond the platform you can still see the reading,

The first set of scales was faulty, and I looked on the internet to see if there were anymore in stock. There was one and I reserved it.When I went to the store, I was served by a young woman, and I was very impressed by her efficiency, and by her attitude. I only had to relate my tale of woe once. She immediately understood what had happened, and arranged for the faulty item to be replaced with the one i had reserved.I rarely take items back and when I do I am usually treated either as an idiot or a criminal trying to decieve for my own gain, but on this occasion I was treated tactfully and courteouslyWell done Argos pleasure to do business with you.

These scales are brilliant- using a recipe the other day I was able to measure each item separately as the scales can return to zero and not affect the amount already weighed and also measured out the liquid content as it measure fluids as well, so instead of using numerous bowls with lots of washing up at the end - I had just one mixing bowl. All in all a great gadget for every kitchen especially when baking with little hands.

This kitchen scale with its clear glass platform caught my attention straight away. Other pluses are the display is located below the platform so it's not obscured by the object you're weighing and the separate on and off buttons, located conveniently on top. On the negative side, the readings tend to vary up to 2 grams depending on which part of the platform you place the object. On the whole, it's still very good.

Picked the scales up on Saturday, ordered the night before, great service. The scales were used within the hour of picking it up, the wife was delighted, easy to set up, easy to read, instructions concise, well constructed, the measuring of ingredient's were precise, a great boon was the liquid measurement just press the appropriate button and pour in the liquid, job done. Will certainly recommend these scales

First product collected and found to be faulty on two counts. Also the item had fingerprints on the glass weighing tray and looked as though it had been used or returned as faulty. However, the lady who dealt with us at the Cleveleys Argos branch was very helpful and checked that the replacement item was in pristine condition. Very satisfied with the service but not the initial product.

I haven't had a chance to really put these to the test yet, but first impressions do look promising. The design is simple, but attractive, and yet these scales seem quite robust. They are certainly easy to operate and the facility to measure liquids, as well as solids, make them more versatile than many similar products. So far they also see to be pretty accurate in their measurements.

I bought these scales to replace a previous set that I’d had for over 10 years. Every bit as good as before. The glass plate is easy to clean and large enough to take almost any bowl when weighing out ingredients. Love the feature that allows you to set the scales to zero no matter what bowl you use and to switch easily between grams and ounces or centilitres and fluid ounces.

I bought my last set of digital kitchen scales at least 15/20 years ago and needed to replace them. I was delighted to find the same style still available and immediately ordered one. The scales are neat and very functional. I love the ease of changing from metric to imperial and being able to zero the weight when using a bowl on the glass platform.

Easy to use as the item being weighed does not obstruct the screen. Easy to read display. Super accurate - weighs in 1 gram increments! Also easy to switch to ounces, or liquid measurements. I tried a different product with a red LED display and a very awkward to use design, but quickly decided to return it and pay a little extra for these. Am very pleased.

I got this kitchen scale two weeks ago because my old kitchen scale wasn’t working well. I just love my new kitchen scale, design looks very fancy and the weight that give me is so accurate that will make your recipes fabulous. I would recommend to everyone who tries to make cake and stuff. Just great option.

My previous salter scales had given good service for about 18 years so I was keen to replace them with the same model. I was pleased to see this updated version available. I like them because they are stylish, occupy a small space on my worktop and are easy to keep clean.

Very pleased with these scales - work well, fast and accurate. Easy to clean and look good too. My only complaint is that they were delivered to us in a clear polythene bag. This gives little protection and is also a bit of a giveaway when they've been ordered as a gift.

Bought for my mum. She loves it as she can put a big bowl on the scales and still see the display. She also said the staff at Bangor were wonderful, service was great and she was thrilled with the whole ease of purchasing. Thank you Argos!

Bought as replacement for previous model which gave excellent service . This model although looking identical is calibrated down to 1 gram not 2 as was old model. Expect excellent service from these scales. Versatile and well made.
