1st the Overall Rating is based on "out of the box impressions" but unfortunately these scales do not weigh the same as those at my Doctors Surgery, they appear to weigh approximately 5 lbs heavier in 12st 3lbs. The Scales in the Doctors Surgery are regularly calibrated and they insist that they are accurate, if this is the case then either the Salter Scales I purchased or those at our surgery are not providing accurate readings. Does this mean that the other readings for BMI, Body Fat and Body Water could also be incorrect?

I wanted the additional BMI and body % water features. Although it took me longer to understand how it worked, the instructions were comprehensive and I am pleased with it. Its great biofeedback on my health. Unlike other scales, I don't have to mess about with a screwdriver when I want to renew the batteries. My last scales had poorly made screws that failed quickly and it wouldn't hold the battery. These scales have an alternative which doesn't require screws and is easy to open and close.

Great product at a great price. High quality scales with large, easily visible, accurate readings. Does all I wanted: Weight (with choice of st/lbs, lbs, kilos). BMI. Body Fat. Body Water / Hydration. With settings for up to 4 people. Also looks good. Does what it says it will do. I'm very happy with my purchase & highly recommend this product. If you're thinking about buying these scales then don't hesitate - do it, you'll not be disappointed.

I was looking for a scale like this to help keep track of the water % in my body due to water retention after surgery. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to get it all setup and at the first the metal strips didn't seem to register at first. I read somewhere else that it helped to have damp feet when standing on the scale and that did the trick for me. Worked like a charm after that. I like the sleek look as well.

I brought these a week ago they are very accurate.... Setting them up was easy step by step via the leaflet provided.I would recommend these..... I'm doing slimming world and love to see weight loss regardless of even if its an ounce and these scales show this. It also gives an accurate reading of bmi which is another great feature. Overall I'd say these are great for the price and beat other more expensive scales by far

Bought the scales to replace an older version of salter scales. Got them at a much reduced price in sale, so very happy. Sleek, modern slimline design. A little complicated if you want to set up for individual body fat etc., but you can use them without doing this. Choice of imperial or metric. No negatives, would highly recommend

These are really good scales. It has various memory settings so more than one person can store their information. They look nice too and work well on carpet as well as hard floor. They're accurate and easy enough to use. If the water % isn't working, just step on them with wet feet and works again.

I had looked around online for scales that did more than just five weight so when I found these sales at the amazing price I bought them maxim so glad I did, they do exactly what it says in the description. They are also extremely good quality. I would definitely recommend them without a doubt.

Bought these as my mechanical ones weren't to accurate. Was a little apprehensive as the look complicated to use but i had these set up in a couple of minutes! You also dont have to use the bmi, body fat settings, you can just use the weight mode. Really pleased with them

I got this scale on sale and it is a very pleasing design. It’s not to heavy to lift. It has features I haven’t used as yet and seems quite sophisticated. To read the output is easy and I like that it came preset to metric kg output. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

We have these on a link bathroom floor. When first used was really disappointed as the readings were so varied up to 12 pounds (which I was thrilled about but sadly untrue) we then added the carpet feet and that seemed to do the trick hopefully now accurate readings

Bought these a week ago, easy to set up and so far very accurate. Love the fact they’re slimline and the carpet feet are a bonus, I can move them from room to room and still get an accurate reading. They’re stylish, a great buy for the price. Very happy .

Works very well, great at reading out weight etc and looks very modern. My only down-point is that the glass is quite thin and you can feel it flexing on certain parts of the scales but if you remain on the silver arms as expected then it's fine.

slim designs, many features body weight / body fat , accurately measures weight have moved it around different places to make sure that there was no misreadings with weight . two types of footings provided for both hard and carpeted surfaces

Have been using these for a couple of weeks. In simple weighing mode they are straightforward to use, but to get the body fat % and BMI readings requires selecting user number and this seems unnecessarily fiddly and a bit frustrating to use
