Love that this goes up to a quarter of a ton!!! (God only knows who weighs this much!!!) I bought this to weigh 'stuff' - that may or may not look like a motorbike! :-) When a mate saw it and heard how much it can hold, he said it wasn't the capacity that was impressive, but that the glass could take that much!!!Oh, and great that you can just stand on it when off and it fires up and reads the weight. Normally you have to touch/press them to wake up; wait for it to 'zero'; then stand on, not this one!

These scales are big and bold. Brilliant graphics so no bending down to squint, only to see you have gained weight! ?.No stamping on them to get them started - you just stand on and the display appears immediately.They can be changed from stones to kilos to lbs at the press of a button.Detachable feet are also provided should you weigh yourself on carpet.Yes without doubt I would recommend these scales.

Bought these scales basically because of the large numbers on the weight information, the resulting product was everything you could wish for, digits that were large enough for older eyes, such as mine, and scales which were both good to look at but robust in quality, I am more than happy with my purchase.

The only problem i find is if you weigh yourself then move the scales about 3' to another part of the room you get a different reading and if you move it again you get another reading and if you put the scales back where you first weighed yourself you will get another reading, so not sure what i weigh now.

Brilliant scales as none of the tap first, wait until shows screen, then step on. No way, this one you just step straight on then yippee .... screen turns on with instant weight. Pity didn't give a stone less than it did but never mind that's why I bought it DIET TIME! ???

The scales are extremely well designed and look far more expensive than they were . They were very easy to set up and the dial is quite big so you can see them without any difficulty and they wouldn't look out of place in any bathroom. An excellent buy .

In order to evaluate the accuracy of this product, I was able to measure it’s reading compared to the scale in my GP Practise. Those are very accurate. The reading prove to be exactly the same. So I have complete confidence in my Salter Scale. ??

Fantastic! Better than expected. Step on to weigh, no waiting. Large display so easy to read. Very accurate, tested in several different areas and all showed same weight. Excellent, would recommend to anyone!

Very easy to read nice large numbers. I go to Slimming World and these scales even on carpet replicate the weights on those scales so I can assume that they are extremely accurate. Excellent at the price.

A bit wobly on carpet for measuring but on hard floor i swear it's been a long time since i saw a scale showing the same numbers 2out of 2 :). Good product so far not expensive, would deff recomend it

The Salter 9049 BK3R bathroom scales are the best I have ever purchased. So easy to use with large digital reading. Good quality with a modern stylish look. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I bought the scales as a present for my daughter and she is absolutely thrilled with it. Saves her from having to come round to my house all the time to weigh herself!!! M-C T

It has a large surface and large display. The quarter pounds are an interesting feature, making it easy to read. It's smart-looking, lightweight and slim, easy to store away.

the simple things are the best, these are so simple to use, one battery, just step on and there you are, plus you have the choice between kilos and stones.

Excellent product with large easy to read display. No more tapping it to wake it up, just step on and “Hey Presto” it reads your weight immediately.
