I wanted scales the whole family could use and most of us have some kind of Garmin watch, so makes sense to integrate everything in one place (steps, exercise, weight, body fat etc.). For this purpose these scales are great. After the 1st weigh in it recognises each person and sends the data to their Garmin account, very quick and simple, no need to write anything down. If you’re not a Garmin user right now, you might want to look at a cheaper option as you won’t really get the full benefit.

This product is a great addition to your other Garmin connected devices. If you are using a VivoFit/Smart band and/or a cycling or running device then this integrates fully with Garmin Connect to add weight as part of your overall fitness picture.Its extremely well made, feels robust and built to a higher quality when I compare it with my previous Salter digital scales. However, even being quite technical it was not easy to setup, but as they say, once you know how its very straightforward.

As the owner of many other Garmin products, it made sense to opt for the Index Smart Scales as opposed to other scales (e.g. Withings)The scales look very smart and perform as expected. The readings are consistent and upload straight to the Garmin Connect platform, though I've yet to understand the value in my bone mass reading!The limitations with this product are more to do with the Garmin Connect platform rather than the scales themselves, but hopefully that'll improve with time.

It does it all, easily. Very expensive. Setting up as long, as you use Garmin Connect and wireless router is so easy, less than 15 min from opening the box and its operating. One point raised by others is a discrepancy in weight - I found that using the scales with the carpet feet on upped my weight by approx 5 kg to my correct weight, this was on or off a hard floor. I use the scales with the carpet feet on on a thick wooden breadboard on carpet and its now accurate and consistent.

I read loads of poor reviews of these scales, problems with connectivity. However, I have several Garmin products and I am really happy with them, so I though I would give them ago. Actually, they work great. No connection problems with my Apple Airport Express Wifi extender. I like that my weight, BMI and body fat get set straight to Garmin Connect. From there, they are shared with MyFitness Pal and with the Apple Health App. All my data accurately logged every time!

I am a real big fan of Garmin and log all my training on Garmin connect I can now keep an eye and a record of my weight too. I have read other reviews which say you can only record your weight once a day I don't care about that as I'm only interested in seeing a daily result. Can be a bit addictive seeing the results looking at the online graphs. You can set weight loss goals too, The scales were really easy to set up as I really would recommend these scales...

Easy to set up.Recognises individuals, so no messing about for different family members.Only 2 small issues1. As a "guest" only weight is displayed, Garmin connect account required if you want anymore data than weight. (weight works but if not careful will record against existing user)2. You only get 1 chance to record data into Garmin connect per day (I'm not obsessed with weight but wanted to record fluid/weight difference before and after training)

I have bought 4 different types of smart scales and all have been awkward to setup and configure this one however was the exception!! It works a dream , easy to setup and easy to use - a bit pricey than some but glad I paid the extra after the hassle with other cheaper alternatives, and the garmin Connect app works perfect with these , lots of features to keep you on track , would highly recommend this product another great product from Garmin

I decided to try to get fit, these scales have totally motivated me! Along with the brilliant app which also connects to myfitnesspal app you have all you need to monitor your body's progress. To date, I've lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks purely by analysing my eating habits , without the scales and app I wouldn't have done it, ive tried befor! I now have another 30lbs to lose and I'm at a healthy weight and bmi!! Top marks to garmin.

These scales look great and work really well uploading data straight to the garmin app. The only issue we found was on initial set up it took several attempts to add another user and the instructions weren't great. However, since this we have had no issues and the scales have worked well, great features of BMI, body fat, water and muscle/ bone mass. The scales allow you to track all over time.

Being a fan of Garmin sports/GPS watches I see these scales advertised and when it stated that they were Wi-Fi and sync with Garmin Connect I thought I'd give them a go. They are superb and no more manually inputting weight/body fat etc data in Connect. Once setup its a case of stand on and that's its , data sent to connect instantly. Very pleased with them.

These Garmin Index scales are a must buy for anyone looking for a set of digital, internet connected scales, which show a range of core health metrics centred around your weight. Includes BMI, Body Fat, Hydration, Bone Mass, Muscle Mass. Recommended. Particularly if you already have a Garmin Fitness Device or Activity Tracker and use Garmin Connect.

As a Garmin user these are great for tracking weight and other metrics. The seem to be accurate and measure the same weight if trying several times. Setup was a breeze.The only annoying thing is having to change unit of measurement with a switch on the bottom. They should really just do this via software and user pteference.

As owner of several Garmin devices already then these scales were very easy to connect into the wifi and my Garmin Connect account. Very motivational to see your progress and I've lost 3kg in weight so I think they really keep you honest.Overall great device but best suited to those that also train using Garmin Connect.

Sleek and solid construction that does not come across in photos. Setup was simple using the Garmin Connect app on my phone. Step on and all my statistics are automatically sent to my Garmin account so I can see my day to day trend and other details. Very happy with this purchase and the collection service at Argos
