I have just received one of these wheel truing stands, and although I have not used it as yet, and after a full examination I could see that the M-wave wheel truing stand was just what I needed, in fact it was just what the advertisement said, what I like about the piece of equipment was, the build quality and the design, as you use it I could see that as things may became a little slack, you can tweek the little locking nuts up with a fine spanner, this stand has been well thought out for the club rider and the like, truing up your wheels just takes a little patience at first but it is easy when you take your time and think about it, and you can save so much money, it even just folds away so smartly, again I have to give Amazon full marks for the delivery, it is second to none, Regards:Don

I have so far build two wheels with this and trued a further two. It's very good indeed and very solid considering this is a foldable device. The centring gauge can be moved (it takes a bit of force) but I used a wheel I knew was centred to mark a line either side on the metal support rod holding it. This means that if it does move (unlikely), I can simply push it back to centre where I've made my marks. The push adjusted feelers are nice and stiff and perfectly fit for purpose. The stand is ver adjustable and the self centring of the holding arms on the wheel works very well indeed For the money, you really can't grumble!

I purchased this truing stand for my new cycle repair business and I wanted some experience with the stand before I reviewed it. All my previous experience had been with the standard issue Park Tools TS2 stand, but as these cost £200+ it wasn't an option for me. By comparison this is far cheaper and although it isn't in the same league build quality wise, it's far from bad and crucially it does everything it needs to do to well enough.I would guess the target market for this would be an amateur enthusiast and for such users it would be ideal as it is very easy to use, folds away compactly and doesn't weigh much either.

I searched the internet for a wheel truing stand that was not cheap and nasty, and not expensive workshop grade. This was the only product I found that hit the sweet spot. Since purchasing, I have trued a 29 inch wheel on it, the wheel had some up/down as well as wobble and I was able resolve both using this stand. Also it folds up quite flat for storage. If I had to make the same decision again, yes I would purchase this stand.

I've trued a couple of wheels on this now and it does the job well. Sure, there are some niceties that you'd get on more expensive pro stands (fixing the guides in place for one) but for the price, it's difficult to fault it really. It folds up nice and neatly too.

Have trued 5 wheels on this now, so it works. Couple of bug-bears though. It can be hard to get it stable with a wheel in and the guides that touch the rim would be better if they screwed in and out. But still not bad

Good value and does the job of a much more expensive stand well worth the money if you know what you're doing
