Having spent a great deal over the years on cheaper toasters, this time I bit the bullet and splashed out on the Smeg. What a difference, sturdy build, efficient controls, EVEN browning (something modern toasters don’t seem to have) which is the most desirable attribute in a toaster. I would recommend this purchase and when my kettle dies I will buy a Smeg one.

My last toaster didn't have a crumb tray, so I'm very happy this one does. Toasts perfectly to choice selected and the 'bagel' function is great. It leaves bagels toasted and crunchy on the inside, while still chewy and soft on the outside. Also, a great looking piece of equipment!

You get what you pay for in this instance. Robust and very simple to use.Very high quality toaster, takes only 1 minute to brown the toast.We have a lot of un-cut bread and it toasts a thickly sliced tiger with ease..Highly recommend!!!

Sleek and stylish toaster which looks fab in my kitchen and toasts to perfection. Really easy to use and handy touch stop button. A bit pricier than other toasters but by far the best out there ... everyone needs a SMEG!

Beautiful toaster that makes great toast: with options to keep items warm with the extra accessories if purchased ( unfortunately only available from Smeg ) , quality item , looks great with the matching kettle .

The toast comes out crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. It’s stylish, very well made, toasts quickly and very easy to keep clean. In essence it’s just a toaster but it does the job exceptionally well.

Best toaster I’ve bought - truth in the saying ‘buy cheap, buy twice!’ or three in my case and no comparison to this stylish, well built quality and great toaster. Toasts evenly and very efficiently - Superb

Delivery arrived earlier than expected : toaster is a brilliant colour & just what I was looking for : toaster has numerous settings & so far works very well : slightly more expensive but so worth it

This is a great piece of kitchen kit, I love it! Lovely bright white & goes perfect in my kitchen. Good features with the LED buttons to toast bagels & defrost option. Definitely recommend.

This toaster not only looks good but is ideal for toast, crumpets, teacakes and flat breads etc. It was worth paying a little extra to get a really good toaster and this is "it"

Very stylish and top quality toaster, toasts bread evenly and has easy to use settings expensive but well worth it in my opinion, also it was larger than I expected.

It matches my kettle! I had to have it! .. Plus it does perfect toast, looks stylish & you won’t go wrong with a Smeg product, worth paying a bit more for!
