This is my first day using these Slendertone EMS shorts, so I will keep you updated with the results.I will also hopefully feel brave enough to add some before and after pictures.For now, this is what I can tell you that might help...-FitI am a size 10, but I have Spanish tighs and hips. Yeap! Not very happy with those personally! ha, ha, haI was slightly worried about the shorts not fitting me, but they are very thin material and elastic, so don't worry, they will fit.So you get an idea these are very breathable and thin cycling shorts :)I think the shorts would even fit someone with a size 12 / 14.They're a little tighter on the end of the short,but nothing too bad.I wore them under some loungewear shorts and they didn't bother me.If when you put them on, the waist feels very loose, you're not the only one.Don't worry, when they're on... they don't fall.I've done my housework with them on and they haven't moved the slightest.First useThe battery on my controller was completely flat, so the first thing you need to do when you receive the shorts is to charge the controller.I read on the listing it takes 3 hours to fully charge.When on, the battery blinks, so I thought "OK, when it's fully charged it will show"I left it on for 6 hours and nothing.So my advice is to charge it for 4 hours to be on the safe side (no more) and don't wait for the battery to stop blinking as I did... Because it won't! LoLCHARGE UPDATEBattery does stop charging but at around 6 hours :)I only found out because I simply forgot to put it on charge.Also, go to the WC before you put them on!I was dying to pee almost the whole 30 minutes, but going to the loo without rubbing the sticky pads onto the skin or getting them stuck to clothing is a little bit of a nightmare.I did obviously go to the bathroom when the first set finished.And what I did was, open the flaps carefully made sure the sticky pads didn't touch anything and closed the flaps once finished.You may be laughing now... But when you have them on you will understand! ha, ha, ha.Now the WC "important" note is out of the way... Let's talk about putting them on.OK, so I always use a moisturiser creams... and for the sticky pads, creams are a no, no.So, take your shorts out of the box and put them facing down on a bed/table.Open the straps and place the sticky pads on (the part that has a grid-looking side goes down)Don't remove the top film.Now put your shorts on.You're about to look like an X rated Tomb Raider as part of your ass and thighs will show through the "gaps"/openings. LoLGet some lint-free cotton wool pads and some rubbing alcohol or an oil-free cleanser (although nothing works as well as rubbing alcohol) and clean the area where the sticky pad is going to go on (the open spaces where your skin shows).For the first few times you use it, I recommend you ask someone for help as you will need it.Remove the protective film, save it in the box and close firmly each "flap" until the whole velcro area is attached.Now...Get your muscles going!This is NOT a pair of miracle shorts.You have to eat healthy (I recommend you look into intermittent fasting) and do exercise (at least 30 minutes a day).But the shorts do help you workout more those muscles that ALL women (and men really) want to be firm and well-formed!You have 4 programs to choose from, from 1 which is the beginners to 4 which is the PRO.I want results and I want them fast, so I went hardcore! Yes, program 4 over and over and over again!I must have had the shorts on for at least 4 hours, basically until the battery died! LoLIntensity wise it's simple.It has to feel uncomfortable.No pain, no gain rule applies!If you feel a tingle, that's what your muscles are going to feel... tickles!It has to penetrate and activate that muscle, so... a little pain will be worth the results.One day session and my rear feels plumped.Which means, muscle tissue has been activated/damaged and my body is filling the muscle with liquid in order to restore itself which = It has done something!I will now take my BCAA's before bed (not before or I break my fasting state) and sorted!In case you're wondering...-Why shorts at this price if there are U-shaped butt stimulatorsWell initially because with the shorts you know you're putting the pads in the correct placement of the muscle, U-shaped devices move and fall if you're doing things whilst wearing them.Secondly, those devices don't have the power or strength of these shorts.And finally, because those butt stimulators come with very poor and small sticky pads... You will end up wasting a lot of money on replacement pads that don't even stick properly (talking by own experience).-Can I wear the butt shorts and the abs belt at the same time?If you buy slendertone ABS8 or the connect model... YES! I have!If you have the older version that requires the controller, I can imagine you can, as long as you have 2 controllers as you can't plug in both devices to one controller at once.I will update every couple of days if there is anything new and then finally in a month (my target date).Best of butts everyone!I mean... Best of luck! :) LoLWEEK 1 UPDATEMy rear aches just as I had been doing squats like mad.My butt is firmer and has a more rounded shape.I'm starting to feel the leg pads more than when first using (so something is 100% activating there).I am now also able to use the shorts at its full potential: program 4 intensity 99! LoLThis is just in 1 week!I've discovered the controller does stop charging after 6 hours.That you can pause the program you are doing, just by short pressing the power button (for a WC trip for example). Then you simply short press the power button again and the program starts were you left it :)And that if you don't remove the plastic film protectors on the pads, the controller gives you an error message.Well, I found that out whilst slightly hangover, but you know... We are all human, ha, ha, ha.To get the best results, I am also using an anti-cellulite cream on my rear cheeks and top of my rear legs at night and firming cream in the mornings.I can definitely see a change for the better and I will keep updating as weeks go by.

First off I would like to state that I am already a slendertone convert; I own their abs garment and the arms garment and due to them working wonders (see other my other reviews) I decided to invest in the bottom muscle toning garment.Size/Material/In the box:========================See video. *Edit* I have made a mistake in the video where I say the shorts are a size 14. What I mean by this is that the shorts will fit a MAXIMUM size 14 even then its pushing it. Advertised on their website they state these shorts should fit from a size 6 to a size 14. You have to be a slim size 14 for these to be okay.Does it work?========================It's amazing!If you have not bought yourself a slendertone product before then I would advise you to start with the abs garment to see what it's like but if you want to tone your bottom then these shorts would definitely do the job.I initially thought that I would be able to use it on the highest program setting (4 programs) at a medium intensity of 40 (out of 99). I did this thinking that I have quite strong muscles in my bottom and the back of my legs, so I should be able to cope. The exercise as with all other garments felt slightly uncomfortable with the contracting muscles but this was normal for me; I was able to use this garment sitting down while doing work on the computer and getting up to do a few house chores. It was only the next day that I realised how powerful it was - I had sore muscles for 3 days following the exercise. It definitely gave me more than the work out I was expecting.I have only been using the garment for the past week and after my muscles recovered I already noticed the difference in my bottom muscles. I will definitely be continuing with the month plan they supplied and will update this review with my progress after a month of using it. If you have any questions please ask via the comments.==================================================================================================================================================================================================UPDATE - 30/05/2012So I have been using this for around about a month and so I thought I would update with how things are going and if I have noticed any changes.I have not noticed any big changes in the size of my bottom, but my trousers do not feel so tight as they use to so I assume I've lost a bit around my bottom. The most drastic changes I have noticed has been the massive reduction in cellulite on my bottom and the back of my thighs. The other change that is also nice is that my bottom looks perkier. Its quite difficult to describe but the only way I can describe it is that my bottom has become more defined. I certainly notice the difference and I am more willing to wear my bikini now due to my bottom not looking so bad.So even though I have not lost a trouser size, I am definitely happy with the progress I have had so far. I will definitely be continuing with it and hope that with a diet and exercise I can lose the size on it as well. But with the reduction in cellulite and the better bottom definition I am still happy with my purchase.I will again try to update maybe in another month or so too see whether I see further improvements.

Now I'm a huge fan of EMS technology toning machines. I have used a much more intense version (which have multiple pads covering 65% of your body) of Slendertone in wellness + beauty salons (multiple times and brands) and have seen phenomenal results less than a month (seriously I looked like a Victoria Secret Model...it was a miracle). Comparing my experience in the salons' machine versus Slendertone: Slendertone is strong and serious piece of equipment. The highest intensity makes your bum REALLY work and feels like mid-intensity of EMS toners i've tried in salons, which is incredible, especially for the price you're paying.Optional advice to achieving optimal results :):- Avoid tensing your muscles during your session (I try to avoid it most during my high intensity sessions) the more relaxed you are, the better the machine can work your muscles.- it's best to not eat or drink anything besides tea and water for 2 hours after your Slendertone session. And drink as much as you can! (Helps lymphatic drainage)It's a great machine and I'm eager to see the results in two weeks. I'll update as I go along :)

I ordered these s7 shorts yesterday they arrived this morn i wore them straight away after charging up for 30 min session on 50 cudnt tolerate any higher first time but oh my days! i can already feel that workout a few hours later ! My glutus minimus hurts im small size 8 but after 4 yrs of kidney probs sat on my bum has flattened it im too tired to do squats so this is great solution i suffer badly with sciatica and sacroiliac hip joint pain i could feel the trapped nerve responding a little painful at first but has made a small improvement to the nerve pains cant wait til put them on tomorrow ..i found standing possible but knees slightly bent eases some of uncomfortableness if on highsettings sitting is possible knees bent that was the less painful option lying down on front is torture on high lol my face felt it first lol but overall i am impressed so far and looking forward to results in few weeks ..they are snug fit could go to size 14 i would say if you undo the tabs before putting them on they stretch over buttocks easier..closed would be a straight jacket kind of effort (not that ive tried one! )..

I haven't been using this for very long, nearly a week now and I can definitely see that it is helping to shape and tone a bit! It advises to use for at least 4-5 weeks to notice the difference so fingers crossed by this time the results will be a lot better!It is an expensive item but I say it's worth it, I like using this as you can get a bum workout whilst doing other things! I would say if you are any bigger than a size 12 then this won't fit you but I think it's really good, definitely feel it working and bum aches after!Would recommend this and if you want to use this AS WELL as exercise and healthy eating then you'll definitely see the difference..problem with some people is they thinkthis is a short cut to the perfect figure..it's not it's just to help you on your way and I know I'd rather wear this for 30 mins than do hundreds of donkey kicks!

I am a size 10, Doris are a bit loose on waist and bottom bit pads stuck easily and don't move. Easy to put on. I've been using them for over 2 months although not regularly at the beginning. However, since I've started seeing a difference over become more regular and they too use them 4 times a week. They have lifted my bottom and I now have definition between my bottom and my thighs which I never had before. I use them on programme 4 (30mn) at the highest frequency 99, while lying down. The cellulite right under my bottom has gotten less and my son there looks looks smoother. I'm hoping it will eventually disappear. I go to gym once or twice a week but have been very lazy lately and relying on slendertone!My whole bottom area has gotten tighter and I've been getting compliments.

I use them for thirty minutes to an hour at night when I'm sat in bed and they have an immediate, good result - as in my thighs and hips look slimmer immediately afterwards and the following day. I've noticed a reduction in cellulite too!Another reviewer said they were unsuitable for size 6, but they fit perfectly! The shorts are held in place by adhesion of the gel pads to the skin, so having a small frame is no issue. I assume the reviewer probably had either used the gel pads incorrectly or they had worn out.The only thing I would say is that I wish there was a pocket for the controller, like for the abs belt. I have to put the controller down the front of the shorts.

I absolutely love this product. I've been using it for about 5 weeks (for about an hour 3 x a week) and I can definitely see a difference. I have always had a flat butt, but now I can see definition for the first time in my life (I'm 53 and have always been slim). I don't think it works that well for walking around, but I love that when I'm just watching TV, I'm getting a passive workout at the same time. Sometimes it almost hurts if I go up too high with the intensity, but I don't mind the sensation because it means it's working. I'm fairly active, but I hate spot exercising, so this is is working really well for me.

It is recommended to use for 6 weeks and combine with excercise and diet to see proper results. I can’t do excercise at the moment and anyway always been a bit of a flat bottom. I have used it maybe 3-4 times a week for 30 mins and amazingly can see results. My bottom feels more firm and a bit lifted, it won’t give you a JLo bum but will definitely improve what you already have. The pant fits well too, is made of Lycra and it’s comfortable, no waist band and have a little pocket for the control so you can keep moving around easily. The gel pads last a lot if you look after them as recommended.

I absolutely love my Slendertone shorts as it they are a great addition to exercising, as well as being something I can use it I don't have enough time to get out and exercise. I always feel as though my muscles have been worked hard the day after I use the, especially if it's on a high setting, and they're really convenient because you can wear them under dresses or looser fitting clothing easily. I wouldn't say they fit under jeans that well, or else I'd probably wear they more when I go out shopping and other things. However, I love these shorts and personally feel as though they work well.

This is a lovely product from Slendertone. Although, I am NOT SO HAPPY as the Travel Pouch was NOT INCLUDED on the package. The box came perfectly close from factory and it doesn't mention it on the contents list written on the side box. Anyway, User Manual do mention a travel pouch so its kind of confusing anyway. Hopefully, Slendertone will provide me with a new travel pouch without any problem. In the meantime, I do recommend others to try this Bottom Toning System as it works for sure (I do have other Slendertone items as Arms and Abs Belt too and they certainly work too).

If you are overweight this product will not work for you. However, if you are a size 10-12 and not overweight it will definitely help in reducing cellulite and firming up your bottom. It is very simple to put on and am unsure why so many people seem to have a problem with this aspect of this (probably because they are overweight and the shorts don't fit properly). This product is designed for those who have lost weight or are already slim and just want to tone up and it will work miracles. Takes maximum 2 minutes to put on. THIS IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCT IT IS FOR TONING.

I was a bit sceptical about using this, but I've had it for a month and use it 30 min's 5 times a week (on top of the gym). It has worked amazing for helping me train as has activated muscles that in 18months of training I struggled to do.I squat, lunge (with weights) etc and it has only been since using this that I can feel various muscles in the back of my thighs and bum work. It's made such a difference (also to skin appearance).Expensive but money well spent.I'm a size 10. I don' think these would fit anyone bigger than a size 12 which is a bit pants.

I purchased these shorts after an operation to my knee left me on crutches for five and a half months and thus, plenty of muscle wastage. These shorts did the trick and have really helped me on my way to building up my glutes. They lose a star as the pads tend to tire rather quickly and if you don't change them, then the sensation to your muscles becomes one of a burning type nature. As well, the fabric has worn considerably around the area where one sits (and it's not as if you can do anything but sit whilst the shorts are in action).

Only had this for a couple of weeks. Looking forward to a firmer bum. Once you have the pads in place this is straightforward. Wear the pants first before removing the protective plastic from the rubber pads. And again put the plastic back on before taking the pants off.Update. Ok. I have had this 18 months and have only just replaced the pads. So not bad. My only suggestion is don't move around too much whilst on as it puts extra pressure on the velcro and in time I'm sure this will fail. So it should extend the life of the velcro
