This reminds me of kettles when I was growing up, when it arrived it is truly beautiful. Pleasantly surprised to realise after the two discarded boils (as per instructions) it had no awful taste that you get with so many new kettles. It may be more than you hope to spend but if you only boil the kettle for one or two cups at a time the cost savings are great too.

Had the original kettle years ago .No kettle I’ve had could match it,They have been too heavy or too loud .Very happy with this one ,it’s fairly quiet and very quick to boil 10/10

Love this kettle. Reminds me of my late Gran’s. It’s lighter than most kettles, long spout which is great for pouring without splashes. Can boil a single cup of water quickly.

Good even toasting. Great being able to see the amount of toasting without interrupting the cycle.
