I purchased the Darth Vader, Ewok, and Bantha costumes, I'll share my experience and maybe it will help you with sizing.Darth Vader (X-large) for a German Shephard mix. My dog is about 55 pounds and muscular. The XL was too small in the chest, but fit ok in the belly. I think this is made for smaller breeds (like in the picture), but I was able to cut slits into the arm seams to get it to fit and it ended up looking good.Ewok (large) for a chubby pug-basset hound mix. She's a little overweight, but this was a good size and fit well. I wish the ears stood up instead of flopped down, but it is a very cute costume.Bantha (one size fits most) for a 70 pound Golden Retreiver.

I followed the size chart that accompanied the costume, made sure to measure my dog (because breed suggested sizes are inaccurate--always measure your dog), and ordered the size listed with his chest and chest to tail measurements. The costume fits fine, with the exception of the hat, which will need some adjustment according to breed (I have a Shih Tzu), but no big deal. The adjustable string that came with the helmet (which is made of stiff fabric) was broken upon arrival, the springs were broke and did not tighten, but again, no big deal, I have to make adjustments to it anyway. Overall, I am satisfied with the costume. My dog will only wear it long enough to get some pictures taken,

This costume is WAY better than I expected. I was expecting just a front piece with nothing on the back, like the Yoda costume, but not only does it velcro all the way down the back, it has the cape down the back too. The picture does not do it justice. Very Happy with this. It's a little small for my 100 LB Husky/Malamute mix but he has an abnormally deep chest and that is where it doesn't fit. I will have to make alterations to it, but overall very happy. It fits him from the neck to the tail perfectly, about 28 inches. The only real downside is the helmet does not stay on because the string that you pull to tighten doesn't stay tight and he tips his head forward the helmet falls off.

Got some great Halloween pictures! My dog is a dachshund mix, so his chest is big (20.5 inches) and his legs are really short. His body is long, too, so sometimes it's difficult to find things that fit him. I ordered the LARGE based on his chest size and was glad I did. I pinned it around the neck because he's small there, but that was the only adjustment. He looked amazing. The Trick-or-Treaters called him DARTH WIENER.

It's cute, but I would have like more guidance on sizing. I have a small dog, 20 lbs, and I thought a medium would be fine. But no, it's too small. They start with like teacup size dogs as small, yorkies as medium, my dog is large, and a normal size dog is extra large. Doesn't make sense to me. Call the teacup size extra small. My dog doesn't need the ego boost of being called small.

I got a Min Pin - thought this would work for a party. It has velcro to open up all the way Easy to put on. My dog looks so cute in this costume. Even though I think he's embarrassed, He's doesn't know he is going to become a social sensation plus I told him nobody will mess with him at the Halloween party

It fit very well on my dog, make sure you measure beforehand because my dog is rather fat so we had to get a size up. It fit perfectly around the stomach, but it was a little long since we had to go up a size. Good material, good fit, and very cute on my dog.

We ordered a large for our thirty pound Australian Cattle dog, Tater tot. Measurements seem to be pretty accurate. And while he was not amused, and the hat did not fit properly. He is now Darth Tater. And we got a kick out of it. Not a total loss.

Great price.Had to alter a bit bc pugs have weird bodies. I have a black pug and his neurologist calls him Garthvader because he has a quick temper and noisy breathing. I thought a picture of him in costume would bring a smile to.his face.

I have a boxer mix, and he was 4 months old and about 35-40lbs when we put this on him. It fit for the most part and was adorable, but it was too tight on his chest so we had to safety pin the back so the velcro would stick.

Ran a little small. We got a Large for our 8ish month old Lab mix and it was definitely tight. The top velcro we had to put a safety pen on and that helped it stayed on! She did look wonderful though!

Hat sucks......my Darth Whiskey won't wear it, but the costume fits so nicely. I have a Scottish Terrier pup 4mo % 11 lbs........the medium is perfect. Hope it fits by Halloween....2 months to go.

LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!! I got this for my sister in law's dog and he looks so awesome in it! The only thing is that the hat didn't stay on too well, but other then that its super cute!

I got this costume for my pug and it was so cute! Like any pug, he didn’t love the hat and it didn’t really fit his head shape... but the overall quality is really good

To be honest she was getting tired of always trick or treating as a scary Halloween cat.I love it. The small is a perfect fit for the dark lord in your house.
