i have tried others but keep coming back to Royal Canin. They are so specific in how they tailor food to aging pets (or puppies!). It smells inviting and has variopus sizes of kibble so that your dog can find one that suits. The small kibble is great for my elderly terrier with slightly wobbly teeth. She has a history of leaving some dry foods, but always 'grazes' at this throughout the day. I have also tried the 8+ mature variety which has smaller cross shaped kibble, and thats great, this kibble is like an old half penny with a dimple in it so it breaks easily, i guess. Its the best kibble I have found and I'm not planning on changing any time soon. Great seller too, arrived quickly.

Foxy is at least 19 years old. He's a cross between a corgi and terrier. He delights other regular dog walkers with his prancing pony style of trotting - he gallops after the ladies still. We put it down to this lovely dog food which we complement with fresh chicken and/or beef every day. He has his old man days, don't we all, but majority of days he's up and at it.Great food. Also, he's hardly got any teeth so the small sized nuggets are easily chewable or gumming size for him. We tried loads of other types but the biscuit size was too big.Thanks Royal Canin.

Our little dog is at least 18 years old. He is an active little fellah and shows no signs of slowing down. He doesn't appear to show any signs of arthritis and he looks in really good health. The small size of the biscuit is very important for him because he doesn't have many teeth. He loves the stuff and we complement it with fresh beef or chicken and a little bit of rice - but really it is a complete food. This is an excellent product. Other products have been tried but he definitely favours this type. Can recommend it. Wish they did it for humans!

Our dog is nearly 17 and whilst he can’t hear any more and his eye sight is not good, he’s as fit as anything! Still enjoys loads of walks! He loves this food! He’s very picky and has always had a small appetite so it’s great to see him eat this so happily! He loves it on its own, particularly in the morning and through the day and then we mix some in with his main meal with meat each evening! It’s keeping him fit and healthy! My only comment is that it’s a bit expensive so I try and get it when it’s on offer.

These are brilliant,my dog had just had pups and she's middle aged, she was run down and losing her fur in patches, since using this kibble she come back to full health and her fur is thick and shiney, my other dog eats them as well and their both fussy eaters but they love these. A little on the pricey side but well worth every penny.

Our 13 year old Border Terrier is diabetic and suffers from pancreatitis. Her digestion is fragile to say the least and getting her stable is a constant struggle. This food has played a big part in keeping her well. She has been better on this than any other dog food. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This food is brilliant. My 15 year old dog had been off his food for a fortnight, but when I got him this (and put warm water in to release more aroma) he gobbled it up straight away. There's also a version that's only available from the vet, which he also loves.

I have only just changed my dog over to this food. Before she seemed to have too many poos a day, & they really smelt, it seems better now. It is a bit more expensive than her last food. Cannot comment on flavour & scent as I don’t actually eat it myself!!!!

Boots - 13yo (?) Jack Russell seems to like this a lot having gone off the equally high quality food we were feeding since adopting him 2 years ago. He seems fit and healthy on it.

Quick delivery as expected with Prime. Good quality dog food product. My little Jack Russel loves it. I would probably buy a bigger size next time though if I can find it.

My dog likes this she is sixteen years old, she has been having the 8+ for years and is fit and healthy. Prices on Amazon vary greatly so do your comparisons.
