So glad I found this cat food. Our cat is very fussy and only eats dry food, he loves to crunch them . He recently had his 8 teeth removed (it shocked us, yes) and he can no longer crush his dry food. It was a real battle for us to find the right food. Vet did not help, maybe they just wanted to sell what promoted at the surgery, although they've been told many times he can no longer chew his food, they were keep suggesting to soak his food in water or give him wet food. I tried all, nothing worked, he ended up loosing a lot weight, you can imagine the stress and panic we were going through. I spent long time online reading reviews and ordering what I can get my hands on. And this was a god sent discovery.

My three cats have never been great eaters of dry food but I have always left some down for snacking between meals. Recently one cat was diagnosed with CKD and as an introduction to lower phosphorus foods I have been trying this food for aging cats with her, as well as thinking that it was about time that the other aging cats had access to such food as well. The cat with CKD actually quite likes eating this (as well as the actual renal dry food) which is very helpful as I am having problems trying to switch her over to eating specialist wet foods. I will certainly continue buying this.

4kg - £32.99My 16 year old cat looks like a sea lion on a beach when she is lying on the floor. Trouble is she has arthritis having led a full life as a narrowboat cat roaming the countryside at every mooring.So, now housebound without the exercise, I limit the quantity of food and also the feed her this food which is not so rich.However, I have 3 other cats all who have bowls full of food and who like to 'graze' feed, so yes it is a nightmare at feeding time. They also have different diets ? ! Different rooms, different cats, different foods........I love them all!

Our cat is a bit of a madam and when our vet advised a dry diet our efforts were met with much resistance of the "how could you do this, just watch me starve " variety. She took to nibbling things in the garden ( the hellebore made her croak ) and defeat came when we realised she was raiding next door's cat bowl! Then we discovered RC 12+. We have now cut out one wet meal per day and although she eats other dried this is her favourite, she also likes RC Siamese. We plan to experiment with other varieties and who knows, perhaps, one day, she will forget the wet stuff!

My 16 year old cat loves this food. We discovered it after she had been really poorly with an undiagnosed overactive thyroid and subsequently became very thin and struggled with sickness in the initial weeks of her starting her thyroid medication. It absolutely stimulated her appetite and she has now put all her weight back on. She also has very few teeth but still manages to eat it and really enjoys it. They don’t need huge portions of this and I would completely recommend following the feeding directions for portion size / weight.

This food is brilliant. My cat is very old now and struggles with cat kibble but this is easy for him to eat and he loves it. His coat is shiny and his eyes are bright when he eats this. I notice a difference in his joints when he eats this too; he is freer in movement when walking and jumping.The only downside is the delivery, it takes so long to arrive. It's sometimes over a week. I wish I could get it on Prime.

I’ve tried other foods but always end up going back to Royal Canin for both my cats over the years as their needs have changed. My Ragdoll has very sensitive digestion and always had Royal Canin food. This particular biscuit is perfect for my ageing tabby boy, he finds it appetising, no upset tummy or sickness, the kibble is the right size and appealing. Another winner, totally recommend this one particular type.

My cat loves this food. He has got a really sensitive stomach and most foods dry and wet seems to upset his stomach but this one he has never had a problem with. He is always happy to finish it all. This arrived before the date it was due on and I have ordered a few times from this seller and it nearly always arrived before the due date. I am really happy with this seller and definitely order from them again.

I brought this to help my 12 year old cat whom had begun vomiting regularly. This has increased his appetite & the amount of water he drinks. He is always asking for more, it’s just a shame it doesn’t come in a bigger bag & isn’t cheaper. He’s also fed the Intense Hairball as we have a long haired cat & between the two foods he has stopped being ill.

My old cat is 16 and she was losing weight and seemed disinterested in wet foods. We tried a succession of dry foods to no avail and then we found this about 6 months ago. She has been eating it (and only it) every day since then and she's put on weight and has a new spring in her step. Long may it continue.

My cat is 14 years old and I have found that he eats every bit of his food. His coat is now very glossy and it appears to be doing him good.I have tried many different foods and generally he ends up getting fussy and leaving it, but with this dry food it appears his favourite.

Amazon was the cheapest source for this bag of dry cat food. We have a female cat who is getting elderly and so we moved from Royal Canin 32 to the 12+ years version. Our sometimes fussy feline didn't have any problems with the change- will be buying again.

At £36 this is an expensive cat food.ButMy cat is 14, is not terribly active and this suits her very well. Cats don't tolerate rich food as they get older and I know from experience that this is perfect for her health.I would definitely recommend it.

Rather surprised at the difference this food had made to our aged Burmese cat. I was a little sceptical but thought o would give it a go. Her condition has improved markedly and she had put weight back on. Very impressed !!

My cats love this and never seem bored eating it. They also seem to get far less hair balls now. Their fur is softer and shinier than it was and they are both elderly ladies now. It’s expensive but worth it I think.
