I bought the Ring doorbell 3 as we are away quite a lot. It can be hard wired or works with a battery. Although it says it is easy to assemble (and it is) for it to work you have download the Ring app and register etc which takes quite a bit of time. The doorbell comes well packaged and is of a great quality and all the tools are at hand to fix it to the brickwork, wood or PVC.I used extra strong 3M double sided tape to adhere my doorbell to the PVC door and it works a treat. Pre roll and vides are clear and can be stored up to 30 days I believe. Downside is the if someone rings the doorbell and it registers on your phone then it takes about 30 seconds to access your phone and the live camera to see who is at the door...

Was looking to get a ring pro but after finding out the hassle of needed to fit a new transformer I went with this instead. Set up was really straight forward - download the app and install to the wall. I did connect mine up to my current door bell which is on a 8v transformer so I figured it would be slightly charging the battery but not enough power to make it completely work. Well a couple of weeks in and the battery is still at 100% So it does seem to be doing the job!

What a great choice we have made This little piece is perfect comes with everything and an excellent part is the fixing /positioning bracket you have a choice of two to use one is angled , perfect for what we required , it’s everything and more what we wanted Recommended by the police too , whilst at work hundreds of miles away from home we can still see who’s knocking or within our garden , it’s a perfect choice easy to install and easy to use

fantastic After a missing parcel and a bit of trouble at my Business I decided I needed to protect myself and my business premises. Set up was easy just follow the app instructions its kind of addictive watching live stream, You may need to disable motion detection (Kinda annoying) today's wind has been constant winschimes on my phone. But as far as I'm concerned great product highly recommended.

Fab product does what it says - pretty much , the only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5Is because it doesn’t come with the ring for the house, I can’t believe the price of it they want you to pay a further amount to get it to ring in your home like a normalBell ! Great video though, sound etc , easy to set up , am Pleased we have it!

Relatively easy to install bu when you have to change you broadband router ensure you have written all previous passwords down as you could create a nightmare re installing as Ring keeps a record of your original WiFi records. Also need to plan location when you have a shared drive.

As you'd expect, very easy to set up as all ring products are.Video quality is great , the HDR really makes a difference as does the extra 4 seconds either side of a motion detection.All managable and integrated with my ring alarm system. highly recommended

I have to admit i am more satisfied than anticipated with this, it comes with a full set up kit, screw driver, wall plugs, drill part everything you need. Easy installation and set up. Can vary the motion detection which is helpful. Highly recommend.

A high value investment. Difficult to know height of door unit to avoid false motion detector alerts. Once fitted, if relocation is necessary it leaves screw holes in door. A real nuisance if you have upvc door.

amazing product easy to install and works a treat bought a chime as well but don't need it so sent it back. Connects great and even got it working through Alexa . If I can do it anyone can .

Absolutely brilliant, easy to install & clear as day on your phone.Can’t wait to catch the owner of a dog who can’t be bothered to pick their dog muck up right at the bottom of my drive!

Got this as registered disabled and sometimes can’t get to the door in time. This helps me as I can tell first see who it is and then tell them I am on my way

Absolute picture perfect imaging. Only thing is looks bit bulky on the door so better on wall
