THIS REVIEW IS FOR 3 DIFFERENT SHADES:-*** 1st. Lipstick Review ***Rimmel London – The Only 1 Lipstick in "IT'S A KEEPER" Shade No 200Rimmel Cosmetics have been around since I was a child and that is a long time!! They are a well known and tried and tested brand of affordable make-up.There are 15 shades in this "The Only 1 :Lipstick" range and this is one of them.1st Impressions• Smart shiny black casing with a coloured band to illustrate the colour of the lipstick inside• Inside the twist up action of the lipstick is sure and steady, and when fully retracted back again, the actual lipstick does not sit up proud but likes level with the top,so it is not susceptible to damage when re-capping the lid.• The lid has a nice close but smooth fit on the casing and should stay put in your handbagIn Use• The colour of the lipstick ( "IT'S A KEEPER" ) is like a dusky pink Old English Rose type of shade. There is a reasonable amount of colour and is by no means a 'nude' or very pale lip colour.• It is easy to apply from the stick, although Rimmel recommend using a lip brush. It has got a more blunt shape to most lipsticks, but I did not find the shape to be a problem.• Once on, it felt very smooth and moisturising with no cloying or sticky feeling.• I tissue blotted after the first application and then applied a second coat• This lipstick has a taste reminiscent of blackberries, but it is not strong or sickly sweet in any way. It's a bit like the aftertaste when eating blackberry pie and not at all over powering.• The lipstick has a fruity, berry-like fragrance, but again it is not strong.• I did find that some lipstick was left on the rim of a cup after a first drink, but that was the only time.• As the day went on, even after the bulk of the lipstick had 'worn away' due to eating and drinking, there was still a nice 'stain' left on my lips to give lasting colour.ConclusionThis is a reasonably priced lipstick from a well known, tried and tested brand. I had no allergic reaction to the product and the colour suited my pale complexion and older age group. It gave good colour without being in any way garish.[ The 1st 3 pics below are for the "It's A Keeper" Shade 200 ]AND NOW*** 2nd Lipstick Review ***Rimmel London – The Only 1 Lipstick in "PEACHY-BEACHY" Shade No 600This is another economically priced Lipstick from Rimmel Cosmetics and is part of "The Only 1 :Lipstick" range, which has 15 shades and this is another one of them.1st Impressions are the same as the 1st review as shown above. In Use• The colour of the lipstick ("PEACHY-BEACHY") is not a peach shade in my opinion. It is more of a Coral Rose type of shade.• It is easy to apply from the stick, although Rimmel recommend using a lip brush. It has got a more blunt shape to most lipsticks, but I did not find the shape to be a problem.• Once on, it felt very smooth and moisturising with no cloying or sticky feeling.• I tissue blotted after the first application and then applied a second coat• This "Peachy-Beachy" shade of lipstick has a slightly 'sweetie' taste, reminiscent of Dolly Mixtures. It is not strong or sickly sweet in any way and not at all over powering.• The lipstick has a slight fruity-like fragrance, but again it is not strong.• This time, I applied the lipstick using a lip brush. I found that it worked into and stayed on my lips better, and did not transfer to the rim of a cup when drinking, soon after application.• I did find that this particular shade wore off reasonable quickly. It is not a 'stayer' for several hours. However, having said that, there was still a nice 'stain' left on my lips to give some hint of colour for a long while.ConclusionThis is a reasonably priced lipstick from a well known, tried and tested brand. I had no allergic reaction to the product and the colour is a very nice one for summertime wear. [ The 2 teddy pics are for Peachy Beachy Shade Lipstick ]AND NOW*** 3rd Lipstick Review ***This is another Lipstick from Rimmel Cosmetics "The Only 1 :Lipstick" range, which has 15 shades and this is another one of them.1st Impressions are the same as the 1st review as shown above.Rimmel London – The Only 1 Lipstick in "YOU'RE ALL MINE" Shade No 120In Use• The colour of the lipstick ("YOU'RE ALL MINE") is a vibrant rose pink my opinion. I• It is easy to apply from the stick, although Rimmel recommend using a lip brush. It has got a more blunt shape to most lipsticks, but I did not find the shape to be a problem.• Once on, it felt very smooth and moisturising with no cloying or sticky feeling.• I tissue blotted after the first application and then applied a second coat• This lipstick has a slightly 'scented' taste reminiscent of Parma Violet sweets, but it is not strong or sickly sweet in any way and not at all over powering.• The lipstick has a very, very, very feint fruity fragrance, but again it is not strong.• When this lipstick is applied using a lip brush, I found that is stayed on my lips better, and did not transfer to the rim of a cup when drinking soon after application. Neither did it come off on my teeth (natural or otherwise!)• I did find that this particular shade wore off quicker than I thought it would. I had hoped, that given the strength of this colour, that even after wearing off, that it would leave a good 'stain' to provide some hint of colour for longer, but I was a bit disappointed.ConclusionI had no allergic reaction to the product and the colour is a very nice all round the year colour, that should suit a lot of skin colourings. [ The last 2 photos are for this shade ]FOR ALL SHADES:- There was no 'bleeding' at all, which is a bonus, as some lipsticks can disappoint in this way.

Amazon has combined my reviews for three different lipsticks in the Rimmel London The Only Lipstick range, namely OH-SO WICKED, EASY DOES IT (both RRP £8.99) and CALL ME CRAZY (RRP £6.99).=== OVERALL ===I usually wear Laura Mercier lipsticks which are much more pricey, so I was pleased to try out these Rimmel lipsticks, a brand I remember from my younger days but haven't tried for years. This is a lovely range of lipsticks which make my lips feel moisturised and where the colour stays on well. I'm not too keen on the look of the black packaging (the range seems aimed at a younger market than me); however, the packaging is good quality and I love wearing the lipsticks themselves. Oh-So Wicked is a dark, dramatic plum/burgundy colour which goes well with smoky eye make-up for going out in the evening. Easy Does It is a lovely browny rose colour suitable for daytime wear or when I want a lighter look. Call Me Crazy is a fabulous bold orangey red. There are three qualities I look for in a lip colour product, namely:[1] COLOUR - If the colour isn't right, the product's not right.- OH-SO WICKED - I love "Oh-So Wicked": it's a dark, dramatic colour I haven't worn before and am happy to have been able to try out a colour I would not have chosen otherwise as it's opened up my make-up looks. This is my new "going out in the evening" lipstick colour to go with dark, smoky eyes and long false lashes. A bit confusingly, the actual stick of lipstick itself is almost black so doesn't look anything like the band around the packaging so don't be put off by that! The band around the packaging does look similar to the colour on my lips.- EASY DOES IT - Easy Does It is a lovely browny rose colour suitable for daytime wear or when I want a lighter look. On the lips, it is slightly more pink than the band around the packaging and has a slight shine to it.- CALL ME CRAZY - This is a fabulous, bold orangey red, a classic colour of confidence and assertiveness if you're wearing it with a suit, and sexiness if you're wearing it with something more alluring! Gorgeous colour.[2] FEEL ON THE LIPS - A good lipstick must feel smooth on application and not dry the lips out as some products do. These The Only 1 lipsticks go on beautifully smoothly and leave my lips feeling moisturised and smooth. They also have a light, pleasant aroma and flavour.[3] COLOUR STAYING POWER - If a lip product is too hard, it can be drying, but too soft and the colour can wear off quickly. Rimmel recommends using a lip pencil around the outline of the lips to stop colour bleeding and to apply with a lip brush. However, it's easy to apply the lipsticks as they're blunted at an angle at the end.- OH-SO WICKED - This colour stayed on that well, although I did have to reapply it after eating or drinking; however, that's always the case for me when I wear lipsticks with noticeable colour (I don't know how others manage but lipsticks do always wear off pretty quickly when I wear them).- EASY DOES IT - Because this lipstick is closer in colour to my natural lip shade, it wasn't as obvious when it wore off after eating or drinking as it gradually did during the day - though it did leave a nice tint and shimmer on my lips even when it no longer looked like I had lipstick on.- CALL ME CRAZY - This lipstick does look better if reapplied after eating or drinking.

'Under my spell' is a gorgeous dark plummy lip colour that leans towards blue/cold tones and doesn't apply as dark as it is in the bullet. On super-fair cool colouring such as mine it walks a line between striking, 1920s starlet and goth that I am personally happy with, on my mothers slightly warmer tones it looks a stunning Autumn-winter colour and looks on the lips like a much more expensive brand. Some ladies may find it a bit dark especially if your colouring is warm-very warm, though I could see this looking absolutely stunning on darker cool toned skins. The formula is remarkably smooth and buttery on application yet it dries/sets very quickly to a satin finish and is thus difficult to blend if you like to soften or gradient your lip colour. The colour is not sheer,it is well pigmented on application but not as dark as it is in the bullet, you would need a second coat to get that dark.It lasted well through drinks with only minor transfer to the mug/glass/straw, though was reduced to a pleasant plummy stain on eating (I attach a second picture after eating) and it wasn't even oily/dressed food, so I would want to reapply this.I suppose something this bold is more prone to visible wear than a softer muted shade, but the positives are that it wore evenly (not just in the middle) and there was no bleeding, smudging or smearing of the product which is a bonus. The packaging is a little more luxury than your usual rimmel lip product, with a understated black twist up tube that gives a satisfying click, at a glance you would not think this was an offering from a semi-budget high street brand highlighting Rimmel's manoeuvres in recent years to raise its standing.Overall, I haven't actually bought a rimmel lipstick in a number of years and wouldn't have previously considered a colour this pigmented as I have been disappointed in the past by high street brands with dark bullets producing sheer application, no such worries with this which has changed my perception of the brand and that's a good thing.I only knock off a star for its longevity, whilst it doesn't smear, bleed or smudge after application, this pigmented a colour would need a base pencil/crayon and/or regular touch-ups to maintain the dramatic depths on application. Some busy women may prefer a long lasting stain product than that level of commitment.

There's a reason why Rimmel is my favourite cosmetic brand; fantastic quality at reasonable prices, what more can a girl ask for? This new range of lipsticks is another winner. The packaging is sleek and elegant, with a band of colour at the base, which is a nice touch when you're rummaging in your make-up bag for a particular shade, it's much easier than having to look at the circle of coloured paper on the bottom which is the usual way of identifying shades. Once opened, there's a wonderful scent. I have a bit of a thing about the scent of lipstick and Rimmel always seem to press my buttons in the right places with this. This lipstick has a fragrance which is like standing between a high-end perfume counter and a sweetie shop, all heady, luxurious, sweet smelling and incredibly feminine. I'm half in love with it before I've even applied it... It goes on well, with total coverage from one side-to-side slick, and after blotting it's the perfect balance between shine and matt, just enough lustre to make lips look luscious without being too glossy. I found it didn't come off on my coffee cup, but I did need to re-apply twice during the day to compensate for my habit of rubbing my lips together when I'm concentrating, but I think that's good staying power. With George Clooney unavailable for the kissing test, I fell back on plan B for review purposes and kissed the back of my hand (first time since I was 13!) and there was a pinky mark on my hand, so it seems you can drink as much tea as you like without losing your lippy but a smooch with your other half will leave you needing a refresher coat of colour. As for the shade, Pink Me... it's a sweet, girlie, pale pink. I enjoy re-creating vintage make-up looks and I've added this lippy to my 'Marylin Monroe' shades. If you picture her with dark eye make up and oh-so-pale rosebud lips, that's the shade this gives. It's pretty, subtle, very feminine and has that all important feel good factor in use and appearance. Top marks to Rimmel for this new range, and now to collect more shades...

...moisturised for about 4hrs after application, during which time I had 2 hot drinks, some pasta and went for a walk in the cold and rain. This is in a quite classy package and looks more upmarket than previous Rimmel lipsticks that I've used. There is no protective sleeve on this, but when I opened the lipstick up, there was a satisfying unsealing noise and the inner was untouched. I'm not too sure I'd want to buy lipstick that's not sealed in clear film from a shop/chemist, though. The cover is tight enough that it won't come off if the tube is left loose in a handbag, but at the same time not too tight that it slips out of your grip, though it is very smooth.I think the embossed Rimmel wording provided the right amount of grip to allow this to be opened easily.I'm a fairly light-skinned Asian and on me, this did look a little garish, as it's quite a lot deeper than baby pink, more like a true pink. It also has glitter/reflective flecks in this, so those pick up the light and makes the colour look even brighter. I think perhaps I'd call this a true Rose colour. It glides on easily and only one coat of each lip was needed for about 4hrs use. I wore this on a dark and rainy day which muted the colour somewhat, but I don't think I'd wear it of an evening/under lights as it's a little too shiny. It does have a slight smell that at first was light enough, but which I think deepened with the heat from my lips and I ended up feeling as if I was tasting it. It did seem to dry/cake the tiniest bit after a while, forming a barrier on my lips, but not one that cracked or felt stiff. The shade I got is called IT'S A KEEPER and I'd advise you to try out a tester before buying, as the colour on the outer tube is not the exact colour of the lipstick, which is described as NUDE PINK (so not!!).

I have tested the "The Only One Pink Me Love Me" lipstick which is quite a bright pink on the lips when wearing and not generally a shade that I would normally use. I'm not deducting any stars for the shade as it's not Rimmel's fault that the lipstick isn't to my normal taste but I am deducting a star for the lipstick bleeding a lot and if I could have marked at 3.5 I would have. The lipstick applies very nicely and is very smooth and feels lovely and moisturising on my lips. I tested the lipstick without a lip liner but did test it by applying with both a lip brush and also directly from the tube and on both occasions the lipstick did bleed quite a bit.I would definitely agree with Rimmel that to use the lipstick you really do need to use a lip liner to encourage the lipstick to stay on the lips as otherwise and with such a bright shade it looks a bit messy. The lipstick looks darker than the product picture in person but is definitely a brighter pink than the colour band around the tube and so it would be beneficial to have tested the shades beforehand and to know the exact shade you required. I would say this is more of a summer/daytime shade as it does remind me of the lighter colour lipsticks I tend to wear during the summer months and I don't think I would wear this of an evening as it's too bright. The lipstick tube design is very nice with a wider top and the Rimmel crown insignia at the top of the lid and the lipstick is a twist up mechanism. The lipstick has a strawberry scent to it or what reminds me of a strawberry scent and it does feel lovely on the lips and does last a good few hours unless eating or drinking.A nice lipstick and I like the scent but I would recommend knowing the shade you want and also using a lip liner.

I tend to wear tinted lip-balms rather than lipsticks unless I'm going out for the evening, but I'm always on the lookout for good quality products that could be worn during the day. This Only 1 It's A Keeper lipstick was described as a nude pink shade, so I thought I'd give it a go.The tube is an unusual design and quite eye-catching. The lipstick itself looks to be a mid-dusky rose shade in the tube but, once on, is pretty nude (at least for my fair skin colouring). Yes, you can see you're wearing lipstick, but it is quite a natural colour and pretty subtle. The lipstick doesn't bleed, stays put and has a very fruity aroma and taste - don't eat or drink anything for a while after application unless you want the additional flavour of summer berries. It does have a tendency to settle into any creases your lips have, but then, so does every other lipstick I've ever used. The advice about applying with a lip brush also applies to every other lipstick, but let's face it - carrying one round with you when you're out is a complete faff, so it's good to know this applies well straight from the tube.Blotting does help with longevity, but you'll still have a trace of it left after a long day even if you don't blot or reapply, at least around the edge of your lips. It is pretty moisturising, but it did feel quite sticky and a little heavy until I got used to wearing it (as I said, I usually use lip balms).I have absolutely no idea what makes this the first lipstick of its kind or why it's going to challenge lipstick history (which all just sounds like marketing hype to me), but it is a good, all-round lipstick in a colour that shouldn't fall out of fashion any time soon.

I really like several aspects of this lipstick:I am reviewing 'Call Me Crazy', which is red with a slightly more orange tone to it. As I have very pale skin, some red shades can look overpowering, but this one works nicely and complements a paler skin tone well. The colour is very well pigmented and goes on strongly. It applies well straight from the tube or with a brush and is flat ended, rather than a curved 'bullet' style tip. It twists up from the base, as most lipsticks do, but seems a little slower than some. I find this good as you do not have too much of the product exposed at once and it retains its shape and lasts well. The packaging is nice, a classic black tube with the Rimmel brand logo embossed on it,and a coloured ring near the base. The tube fits well together and the lid does not come off when it is carried in a handbag, as some lipsticks I have previously owned do.The selling point for me though is the feel and quality of the lipstick. As stated, it applies well and feels like a nice thick coating. It definitely feels moisturising and continues to do so for a few hours after application. The colour is bold and fairly matte. I found it does fade a little when eating a lot, but overall the staying power is good. I will definitely have a look at the other shades available in this range. This feels a rich lipstick which gives good payout for just one layer of application. I find it is best used when applied, blotted and then a second coat applied, as this seems to avoid it fading too much. For the price, this is a very decent product. This particular colour is a pretty classic red, which is great for anyone who likes a strong lip colour.

Colour under review: Call Me Crazy (deep coral red)If I'm feeling sad, or worried, or have a big presentation to give or a difficult meeting ahead, I always reach for a red lipstick - indeed, I've called these sorts of occasions "Red Lipstick Days" - with a dash of red lippie I feel like I can take on the world! So, as you may imagine, I have a few lipsticks, glosses and balms in various shades of red in my dressing table drawer. The packaging for a brand I've always thought of as entry level is good quality - a smart black contoured plastic outer shell with a metal casing for the bullet of colour. This has a sloping side to help with application.A coloured band gives an indication of the colour."Call Me Crazy" is a red with orange undertones - I wasn't sure it would suit my colouring, but it works well against my pale skin. It is easy to apply, either straight from the tube or using a lipbrush. I was very surprised at the depth of colour from a product that was quite soft and buttery - it is very pigmented. The finish after two applications (blotting lightly between) looked very professional and there was no bleed - although I did use a lip liner beforehand. The finished effect was a flattering point between hi gloss and semi matte. The colour wears well - there is some transfer on eating and drinking, as to be expected, but I wasn't having to touch up my makeup after every glass of water! At the end of the day, it removed easily with a makeup wipe. This won't be "The Only 1" I use, but I'll be keeping it in my makeup bag! It is excellent quality for the price.

First, let me make it clear that this lipstick shade, called best of the best, is red. I know you're always supposed to allow for differences in computer monitor, blah blah blah, but the lipstick shade shown on Amazon is definitely pink. I would allow for a different shade of pink, maybe, but not another colour altogether! I don't actually mind on this occasion, a) because I received this product free for testing and b)because red actually suits my colouring better than pink. But, if you're paying for it and not seeing it in person, please be very clear it is bright red. Think a couple shades darker than a royal mail pillar box. It's a very rich, matte colour and I found I needed very little on my lips for it to go a long way.It also smells delicious, somewhere between crushed summer berries and a very fruity wine. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars, despite really liking it, is that it has virtually no staying power. Touch your lips to a single coffee cup and everything comes off instantly, meaning you need to replenish your lips AND wash that cup. Not great.Other than that flaw, it's a really lovely vivid shade and texture, and paired with your favourite gloss (it looks stunning with Clinique!) it can look very professional and striking. Recommended; just wish they'd develop a waterproof one!

I am now fifty five and I have been a fan of Rimmel products since being a teenager and I especially love the Rimmel lipsticks. When I was given the chance to review this Rimmel lipstick I jumped at the chance not having tried this lip colour before.Rimmel's The Only 1 Lipsticks are supplied in a Rimmel classic lipstick barrel (black on the outer and gold on the inner barrel). This range of lipsticks come in various fashionable shades and the one I received is called 'Pink Me Love Me'.The first thing I noticed when applying this lipstick was that it went on extremely smoothly and afterwards my lips felt wonderfully moisturised, this must be due to the addition of Rosa oil and Vitamin E ...I like it, a lipstick that does your lips good. The colour is a lovely soft pink, something akin to a candy Pink mixed with a little creamy white. The colour 'Pink Me Love Me' does not look too dark nor too bright, in fact it is a really good colour to wear during the day. This colour really suited my colouring (fair skinned, dark brown hair and blue eyes), it would also look good on fair skinned blondes. I applied this colour before I went out at 10am, I was out for a good three hours and during that time this lipstick did not need reapplying which means Rimmel's long lasting formula must be working.Perfect.

This is a nice enough lipstick, though Rimmel's claims that it is set to reinvent lipstick history seem very overblown as I can't see anything particularly different or innovative about the range. The lipstick comes in quite a stylish black case with a colour band to indicate the shade (though it's not hugely accurate!) Inside, the lipstick has quite a flat end which means that it's not ideal to apply straight from the stick and certainly won't allow any precision applying this way. Rimmel suggest using a lip brush which will definitely give a better result though is a bit of a faff for those of us who don't usually use them!Once applied the lipstick feels really nice,it doesn't feel dry or cake-y and it doesn't emphasise cracks on the lips. The Naughty Nude shade is pretty and soft, tending more towards the pink than the beige or orange shades, and has a hint of shimmer. It looks fairly natural but is pigmented enough to ensure good coverage. The staying power is not particularly impressive though, despite the fact that this is supposed to be one of the range's strengths; it certainly won't last all day or even through a meal.Overall this is a nice shade, a reasonable price and has a nice feel, but I don't think it's quite good enough to persuade me away from my usual Dainty Doll lipsticks.

As I’m quite fair and pale, but with light brown hair, I’m always looking for a lipstick that gives me a small pop of colour without being too overpowering for my complexion. Because of this I chose ‘It’s a Keeper’ which is a subtle pink rose colour.I found the colour chart selections to be quite accurate. I did find it easier to picture the colour from looking at the tube but either way I’m happy that the colour I received was what I was hoping for.The lipstick is easy to apply. It suggests that for better colour and control, you should apply with a brush. I’ve never done this but having seen how nice the lipstick looks applied straight from the stick, I would be tempted to try it.Straight from the stick the colour glides on well. The lipstick is creamy and luxurious without being too heavy. It has good staying power and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the lip.As others have noted, the lipstick has quite a distinct smell. While it really is a personal taste - I thought it smelt divine. Once it’s on you can’t really smell it though so whether you like it or not, there’s not a problem once you’re wearing it.A really good lipstick with a colour for every complexion or occasion. 5 stars from me.

I'm really enjoying wearing this luxurious lipstick by Rimmel, the shade I chose is under my spell which is a vibrant soft plum colour and is a beautiful Autumn / Winter shade and is true to the colour showing in the description picture.I always use a lip brush when applying lipstick as well as a lip liner for a longer lasting finish, it makes a perfect base , also not forgetting to blot your lips with a tissue and then add your final /extra coat of your lipstick for that perfect long lasting result. The only 1 lipstick certainly holds it's colour throughout eating and drinking, you maybe just need a little more cover at the end of the day.I am loving wearing this long lasting colour with a built-in moisture lipstick and their are fifteen gorgeous vibrant shades to choose from, the shade I chose would be suitable for any age group or skin tone.Rimmel of London as always been a quality brand of cosmetics and I hope they continue with their excellent beauty products as they always offer us budget affordable prices for everyone.I would certainly highly recommend the only 1 lipstick by Rimmel of London.Rimmel London is the owner of this review and rating

It''s a Keeper really lives up to its name. I like the smooth and silky feel as I apply the lipstick and the colour is a light fresh rosy pink - it's not quite as muted on my lips as it appears in the case, although the colour that I can see on the Amazon picture, seems to be more of an accurate colour - which makes it even stranger again, as normally I would have thought that the colour on the actual case would have been more accurate! The lipstick has a raspberry scent - I think that this is probably the same scent for all of the range, but it is fruity and sharp and you can smell it quite clearly as you apply it, but within a few minutes, you don't notice it any more. The colour stays quite well, with blotting, it lasts longer, although I did experience some transfer onto my first cup of coffee, but this is not all that unusual. As with most lipsticks, despite feeling smooth and silky on application, my lips feel a little dry after a while and make me want to reapply, but again, this is the expectation I have from most lipsticks, so will often use a lip conditioner underneath to help to combat this.
