I have oily skin so wearing make up without setting spray is just asking for trouble. I was really sceptical at first because the directions say to use throughout the day to help keep you looking revitalised- I instantly thought that this would wear off and ole panda eyes would be back. I couldn't have been more wrong.This works with my skin really well and I didn't feel like my face was frozen in place like I have previously, and it lasts throughout the day! I followed the instructions of spraying before makeup application as a primer (which I have never done before) and then again after my makeup is done.I'm not a fan of primer but this is down to personal preference,

I adored this 2-1 spray as a cooling spray for my face and it’s certainly been a go to in my handbag and beach bag to keep me cool while it’s been so hot out. (At the time of using as a cooling spray, I wasn’t wearing much make up). It smells divine!The primer side of things with this spray is touch and go with me. I feel the spray is to heavy and definitely prefer a lighter mist. However, it did help my makeup glide over my skin easily without my brushes dragging or my foundation having dry patches. I did need some powder though to set it. The setting side of this spray does match another high end version of this I have. It did help my make up stay on and even, in high temperatures and lots of bearded boyfriend kissing.

I have never even thought about using a setting spray for my make up before but I am amazed by the results.So I read the bottle first on how to use this product. There was a make up artist tip which said to give your face a spritz before applying make up as a primer so I firstly did this and I found my foundation went on a lot smoother so I continued to do my make added my blusher, my eyebrow powder, highlighter, pressed powder and I gave my face another spritz with the spray. I then added my mascara and went out at 1030am, I topped my pressed powder up as it was quite a hot day and added another spritz of the spray at around 1630pm.

when I first got this product I'll be honest I didn't know what to expect but now I've tried it I can honestly say is going to be part of beauty routine for a long time . So easy to use and works so well. I used it as both a primer and finishing spray and my makeup stayed put. I think most girls who have used foundation have noticed makeup prints of the necks of tops and even people shoulders if you happen to hug them. The first time I tried it I thought I would really test its staying power and wore a black top. I'm happy to report no marks to try and wipe off and finally an end to hugging gingerly in case of face prints being left. I recently wore it on a visit to York and my makeup was perfect all day because of this amazing product.

So I used this before AND after make up application and I'm so glad I did. When you spray it on first it feels very refreshing (I did one spray on my forehead and then on either cheek)... Maybe something to do with the lovely smell it has, or just the super soft feeling it gives your skin.I applied my make up as normal, it seemed to go on easier / smoother and I'm sure I didn't need to use as much foundation. I gave just one quick spritz over the whole face to finish. It took a little while to dry, but no more than a minute. This seemed to do the trick though as (especially with this hot weather at the moment) I would usually reapply my make up around midday - early afternoon,

I have never tried a setting spray before, but having been of a time when hairspray in the face was the way to set your makeup in the 00s, I thought I’d love to give this product a go and see if it works. The bottle is a decent size and you get a lot which is really good unlike other brands which can only give you small amounts of product. It instructs you to spray in a clockwise direction around your face. I did this and then in a figure of 8 so that my t zone was covered.There isn’t really a smell to it and it doesn’t make your face feel tight, just normal and settled after a couple of seconds.I chose a sunny day to test and then a normal day at work (with air conditioning).

I wanted to wait until my weekend away in the sun before I posted my review so I had a chance to test the product in various situations. I have used #insta Fix & go on my everyday make up, for a night out & whilst on holiday & I can honestly say i don’t think I will ever use another primer again!! I absolutely love his product!! Firstly, it smells lovely which is always a bonus plus it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin like other products. On my everyday makeup I didn’t use it as a primer only sprayed it to set my makeup however on other occasions I used it before foundation & as a setting spray. My makeup looked & felt amazing every time & didn’t smudge or fade at all! Even in the heat,

I usually use this on special occasions, applying at instructed before I put on my makeup and after I'm finished. From what I can tell, it seems to be working - my eyeshadow seems to stay in place, and my foundation doesn't move much after I've applied it, lasting all night long. However, I can't tell how much of this is actually the fixating spray, since I didn't have any major issues going on before I started applying it. It's more of a safety net for me, to make sure that my makeup doesn't go out of place.It also may be a placebo effect, but I do feel that my eyeshadow looks nicer and more natural by the end of the night when I use this versus when I use nothing.
