he product was used and tested by my wife whose comments and feedback were used as the basis for this review.A great addition to any makeup set, comes as a double ended lipstick one end is for contouring and the other end lis for highlighting. Comapct enough to fit into a packet purse or handbag. My skin is medium brown so after application of a suitable foundation layer I am ready for the contouring and highlighting. The contour tool is the one I use first to contour and define key areas of the face such as cheek bones jawlines etc. You need to do this gradually so as not to look too obvious it took a bit of practice to achieve this but the finished results I cannot argue with.Once I have completed the contouring I move onto the highlighting for areas such as the bridge of the nose as well around the cheeks again and the around the eyes. Again if you are not a makeup expert you need to be patient the first few times to get best results and with practice and experience.Overall a very useful addition to any makeup toolkit very pleased with this great Rimmel product.

This is a great addition to your make-up bag. It's a double ended stick cream, at one side dark and the other side highlighter. This goes on really smoothly and blends in really well, although you will have to use a liquid foundation with this as it's not suitable for use with powder mineral make up.There is a slight iridescence to the highlighter which gives a youthful glow. Because of the iridescent particles this may not be suitable for more mature skins particularly if you have fine lines.I give this top marks for ease of use, convenience and for looking really good.I'm removing a star because doesn't really have very good staying power and you will need to reapply a few times. This is often a problem with oil based products. You may need to use a light dusting of translucent powder over the top.In all a very good product and really convenient and compact for your make-up bag. I would definitely buy this again.

This Rimmel contour stick has two colours, one each end, that are kept in a clear, easy to remove lid. They pop up like lipstick so there's no problem getting to them in a hurry.Contouring is used for definition on the face so it helps if it looks natural and not streaky. My wife tried out the Light colour and has an olive skin complexion. Both the light colours (one is a shade darker) looked like they would be too dark on first sight but blended in really well once applied. The lipstick style tips were very easy to apply on top of a primer with swashes of colour then blending in by hand. The results look really good and provide a natural glow,we're really happy with the results for the price of this stick.

First off, I found that there was little difference between light and medium. Slightly deeper contour in medium and less "orangey", but really small difference. One end of the stick has the highlighter and the other end contains the contour. There is quite a lot of product for the money in both ends and I found that not much was needed for application, so it will last a good while. The contour is subtle, but so easy to apply and use and it's blending very nicely. it's subtle, but can be built up and it's (I'm reviewing light in this case), the right colour as expected. The highlighter is also subtle, but does catch light. It was a little bit harder to blend, but still a very good quality product.I like it

Rimmel London Insta Duo Contour Sick is a great acting contour stick which helps define the cheekbone area, cupids bow or even your brow bone. This is a product which will help your skin reflect light which is especially important when you are taking photographs especially the very popular selfie. The RImmel London Insta Duo Contour Stick is a budget buy but still a product which delivers excellent results. I have to be honest I had to look at videos on YouTube to fully understand how to apply this contour stick to get the full advantage of adding this to my cosmetic applications.I do like how the contour stick is easy to blend as it is a very soft, smooth consistency.Happy to recommend.

I am reviewing the Rimmel London Insta Duo Contour Stick, Light, 8 g. Here are my thoughts:I do like this and would buy again. It's like a lipstick with two ends, but one is a light and the other a darker colour, meant for shading and highlighting. Now I don't use these all the time, but when I'm making an extra special effort and these are my go-to highlighters. I've quite pale skin so do not want anything too heavy, hence the light version I chose to try out.If you're not sure how to apply these, there are plenty of YouTube videos you can search for. Believe it or not, my favourite make-up YouTuber is currently Jeffree Star - Yes girls, this guy knows his make-up!

Contouring can help show off some of your favourite bits, or at least hide some of your least favourite. With light skin you can sometimes look though like you have tram lines running across your face as the effect is too obvious. Rimmel have certainly thought about this as their 'Insta Duo Contour Stick' Light' works well on paler skin. If you apply straight from the double ended stick you may still end up with too much definition, so you will have to apply an extra brush. This is no big deal, but is a bit of an annoyance when you think that the stick is designed so that you can apply two shades quickly and easily without added fuss.

Great contour stick! It's really smooth and super easy to blend in . The contour and highlighter are both subtle so if you want something more obvious then maybe go for a darker shade. It's good for light pale skin like mine as it appears natural and blends with foundation really well. It's currently my new favourite make up product in my bag as it's pretty effective and so easy to use. It also seems to have a good amount of stick on both ends so should last quite a while! My only issue is that I have to reapply a couple of times to get the depth I'm looking for but again that may be because of the light shade I chose.

This is a very useful tool for inclusion into makeup bag. I am not too good at contouring and highlighting but nevertheless I had a good go with this set. It is a dual stick with light highlighter at on end and darker contour at other end. I managed to highlight eyes and cheek bones quite well but only with much trial and error did I get only a very slight contouring effect (my fault I know). It has a nice soft creamy feel when applying I rather liked the colour of the contour part and tried it on my lips too although whether it would last for a night out I do not know

Rimmel products are usually reliable. You know what you are going to get quality-wise. This one is true to form.A dual ended product. One end for contouring under the cheekbones and the other end for hi-lighting on the cheekbones.I found the product quite easy to apply and blend with a big brush. The darker of the two, however, was a little dark for my fair skin tone. The hi-lighter has quite a lot of 'pearlyness' so is quite light reflective and I liked that. I used it not only on my cheekbones but also under eyes and on brow socket bones.Good product. Four stars.

As you would expect from Rimmel London this Insta Duo Contour Stick is a brilliant product.Don't believe me? I really recommend that you watch the accompanying video featuring Chloe Miles. She explains and illustrates far better than I can with this written review. The two sticks of colour may be used to highlight cheek bones, nose and your cupids bow and really achieve a professional look with a little effort. It is remarkably easy to apply and it blends so well. This is an absolute winner from Rimmel.

Good product- contour end is precise and easy to blend. The highlight end does leave a beautiful shimmer but I find that it pulls my foundation off my skin and I use doublewear light. I don't know if this is because the 2 products just don't mix or is because of my skin (combination) but I have knocked off a star for this. Overall a good product and will continue to use when I change my foundation and hope the highlight stick performs better as it is a really lovely effect on the skin when got right.

Although size means this is a cumbersome item to carry about, it does allow contouring and highlighting to be achieved from the one product. It is essentially two lipstick-style applicators placed end to end, one light and one darker. Application is therefore a little tricky just because of the overall length of the product, but it applies well and is easily blended to achieve the look you require. The lids both click well into place so are unlikely to come adrift in your bag.

I actually really like this. I'm fairly new to contouring, and this isn't too strong of an effect. It's a bit waxy if it's cold so it's much better at room temperature, and definitely requires a primer underneath, but if you apply the highlight on the top of your cheeks and the darker just under and blend upwards, it looks great with a subtle but noticeable effect.I also use other products with it, but in addition to other things, I consider this now a staple.

This is a good idea and well designed product from Rimmel - think a double ended lipstick but it’s for highlight and contouring. I don’t usually use contouring products that often but I don’t mind this at all. The highlighter is maybe a touch light for my Mediterranean skin tone but it is a good quality product that blends well. If you like contouring products I would recommend this. It’s priced around a fiver at the moment which is good value.
