When I first opened this I was pretty disappointed, the factory paint job was a little disappointing compared to other snapfit star wars kits with some lazy finishing (maybe it was a friday afternoon one)SO I endeavored to strip it back and re-paint it completely, and in doing so this kit really shines. The mould and model itself is very very good, the model is quite detailed, the cockpit allowed a fair bit of detailing and dipping the canopy in klear made it very see through allowing added detail to be clearly viewed. Obi wan got a new hair repaint and looked all the better for it.Repainting the kit is fiddly, but not really much more so than had it been a blank canvas,
