I bought this on a whim for my husband, who works within the aerospace industry, but has never completed a model before. I chose this kit as it appeared to come with the tools needed to complete it, without the need to buy extra paints or parts. I was surprised, therefore, when he opened the box and found that he needed around five or six extra pots of paint, plus tools to make construction that little bit easier. Perhaps, being new to Revell models, I was a bit naive, but I had expected the kit to at least contain all of the paints required. The model itself seems to be made of sturdy enough plastic. The instructions didn’t prove very useful as it wasn’t clear what some of the symbols referred to,
