My grandson and I were all set to put this Revell First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter together. Once my grandson saw this he was so excited, and could not wait to get it all together.We laid out the pieces, my grandson says 16 pieces, I counted 15. There is no glueing or painting involved, it does not take a lot of thinking to put this together. In fact, my grandson put it together himself. All the parts click together. The best part was to come, however. Light and sound are part of this fighter. The battery comes with the package, so no looking for the correct size. On the bottom of the fighter is a button, push it and the laser lights start and sound occurs.This is a fascinating object to put together.

I was a bit cool on the new tie fighter design as I was a big fan of the original sleek designs where this bruiser looked a bit more like a flying tank! However I really enjoyed the new film and when this very reasonably priced version came out I decided to take a punt! It was so good I got another, easy to put together and with the bonus of three great sound effects and a cockpit that lights up red, it actually looks pretty great!

Perfect, Nice size and detail for the price. Grew up with the original movies and have lots of display items, but not much from the new movies beyond an expensive First Order Stormtrooper model. This took mere minutes to put together and looks ace on the shelf. Missus - "But you're 43 for goodness sake..." Yeah, I regret nothing.

Another great item from Revell. Very simple assembly required. Parts are sturdy and fit together well (someone has talked about using glu as well-strange-not necessary at all!!). Detail is good and pleasing to the eye. Ideal for play or display. Keep an eye on price.

Fantastic product we have a few of these level 1 sets and they are great for our six year old. Great size and superb sound effects, can't recommend highly enough and on top of that it's affordable much easier to handle and put together than the lego sets ?

I got this and after reading a lot of reviews, I decided to glue and paint this. So glad that I did. After you glue this model and do a little bit of modification, you will have a nice bit of kit.

great models, specially because they are easy to put together for the lazy builder like myself,Comes with fx, straight from the movie and well hidden, as the button is part of the ships design.

My sons loved it it was one of their birthday presents. I like it as stays in one piece unlike lego! the noises are good and it is to play with for them, aged 5 and 6.

It is a very detailed, well finished kit and would pass for a pre-manufactured toy once completed. Very loud with engine and blaster noises. Very cool.... get one!

Great value for my 8 year old. He loves it. Detail is very good, and sound effects are reasonable (not cheap or tinny). Highly recommended.
