The biggest plus point: it's *very* gentle on that particularly sensitive part of the nose - you know, the part that always draws tears when you go plucking at it with a pair of tweezers. I was initially a bit reluctant to go in too firmly with the vertical cutting head, as I was just expecting that eye-squinting, tear-inducing irritation you get when pulling out hairs around the entrance to the nose. But no, the unit is actually very comfortable to use even around those parts that usually make me wince. There are two cutting heads, a vertical and a round one, but I found myself using the vertical one almost exclusively. It cuts better, and can be used for both nose and ear hair. The biggest downside is the slightly plasticky build quality,I think, but that's nothing unusual with these kinds of bathroom gadget. The design of the blue base is a bit ungainly, as you turn it to remove it for adding the single battery, but you make the same movement to turn it on and off. Needless to say, more often than not I turn it too far to turn it on, and end up pulling off the base and releasing the battery. You get used to it after a while, but it's still an odd doubled-up function for the base.More annoyingly for me was that it's yet another bathroom gadget that comes with several tiny parts, but no container / holder to keep them all together. There are two eyebrow trimming guards, which are miniscule and made of clear plastic. They're just asking to go missing in the first week! A little bag, as I've seen with some similar products, might be a useful addition to keep it all tidy.Still very happy with how gentle and comfortable it is on the nose, though - no more tweezers for me.

This is a great stray hair trimmer from Remington. It feels solid and purposeful in use (though getting the batteries in and the cover back in place proved trickier than I expected) and it is far superior to its supermarket-bought predecessor.I haven't yet used the eyebrow trimmer, but the ordinary attachment suits me fine and it does the job well, with a minimum of fuss. It gets very warm in use - but then it is cutting its way through swathes of hawser-like nostril hair! I am puzzling a little bit about cleaning it (the instructions mention the water rinse feature with the eyebrow wand attachment, but doesn't wax lyrical about the ordinary head, but I will doubtless work it out).It does what it is intended to do and comes complete with battery - good piece of grooming kit!

Forget the rotary attachment, unless you have a shrub growing out of your nose/ear it does nothing.I've just chucked away another useless Remington rotary cutter! However the bare 'vertical' cutter is effective. It manages fine hair, jut go slowly. The tip is washable for hygiene, not the body! There is a little push button cleaner bade to remove hairs and two clear plastic slip in combs, again useless unless you are growing nasal shrubs.I tried the combs on my arm hair, didn't cut anything, but the bare vertical attachments does. The unit takes an AA battery and this model actually gives you one too.The well written instruction book shows an optional beard trimmer and detail trimmer, for those weird scalp patterns. The Beard trimmer might be useful if you can find one.

I've had quite a few ~£10 NETs and they almost always die within 6-12 months, which is why I'm cautiously already deducting one star from full marks until I'm assured of a reasonable life span of at least a few years. That said, I respect the Remington brand and I like the colour and design of this. This type of design also gets better results than the sole spinning blade in a circle type (attachment here) as those aren't as great at cutting at the edges of nose hair and they're not as easy to clean. This you just run under a tap in default mode.I find the comb attachments a bit gimmicky but it's nice to have a battery thrown in, and it's a must to be waterproof. It doesn't stand out much from similar competition, but if it lasts some years I'll rate it highly.

The best feature of this Remington has to be the nasal trimmer, powerful, gives an exceptionally close finish and cuts every hair pain free. The eyebrow trimmer is ok for long eyebrows but I prefer to take the plastic guards off to shave closely , for this purpose it doesn’t work quite as well as a dedicated eyebrow trimmer as the blades on this are shorter so you have to press down a bit to grab the shorter finer hairs (eg upper lip) and the blades get quite hot when you do this but it still cuts well. The attachments are so easy to change just turn anti clockwise to remove & clockwise to replace. It seems really well made & I have a feeling it will last way longer than all the cheap ones I’ve previously brought, some of them broke after 1 use!

I had an older version of this trimmer which would still be in use if I had not dropped it for a third time which finally broke it prompting this purchase. This modern update is just as good as the old model and an essential bit of kit for those men that do not want to end up looking like their granddad with hairy ears and nose tufts. I run it under the hot tap when done and when it is dry apply a tiny dab of sewing machine oil to the cutting blades. It doesn't say to do that but the model this replaces lasted me for 15 years and remained sharp by doing so. This updated model has a good build quality and seems more robust so I can tell its going to last like the old one.Don't leave home without it.

For guys only or individuals who dont like keeping everything thats with an item.Throw away everything but the pointy shaver. The nose nozzle thing, it work, but takes forever. The plain razor up the nose does the job in seconds and doesnt pull on hairs, or the shin. Also awesome for shaving, trimming the hair down there. Yep the the precious man parts.I am not saying it will give you a prefectly smooth shave but close enough if you dont want to go for the razor and gel and all those gymnastic moves, but it will leave youpretty smooth. without nipping, tearing, pinching or making you wonder why the hell you thought this was a good idea to do in the first place. Also fewer contortionistic moves too

It’s almost like the day when someone thought to the idea to add an extra blade to the razor. So simple an idea, but the effect was instant. So I hate those rounded nose clippers. They are pretty rubbish, but these micro clipper types do a great job to a point. I have broken loads of them (not I hope because my nasal hairs are super sturdy!) But when I saw this little beast with TWO micro clippers on either side, I thought- this is the one for me! And how right I was. These trimmed me up so well, I thought I’d najazzled my nostrils! The double side idea really made it super quick and super easy. And with no snagging or cuts. Do not get anything else but these. You well not be disappointed!!

A pretty good trimmer from a well known manufacturer. The nose trimmer works well and is certainly comparable with other makes. The dual sided blade attachment is something I haven't seen before and it also comes with 2 trimming combs for sliding over the top of the blade and using to tidy up eyebrows. After finding a suitable candidate I pinned him down and despite my laughing causing an unsteady hand it actually worked very well leaving eyebrows that were tidier without looking 'too groomed'

When you get to a certain age some pieces of kit becomes a necessity. This is the third Remington trimmer I have bought over the years and each design has been an improvement on the last. The most versatile model I have tried so far. The quality is excellent for such a competitively priced item and fits easily in the hand. No complaints, but it did take me a few minutes to work out the cleaning position for the blade. And it's extremely sharp........

1x AA battery is included.2 heads are included. One is the rotary blade for nose and ears and the other is the vertical blade for ears and eyebrows. The price is reflected in the quality of plastic used for the main body, however, as the unit will only be used for a few seconds, probably weeks apart, then this is not an issue.Twist off the base an insert the battery.Twist of the head to change. Rinse under the tap after use. It's that simple

I bought this as a replacement for an older trimmer that I accidently dropped and broke.I have noticed that the switch at the bottom which also unscrews to gain access to the battery is a little bit stiffer than the old one. This is actually a good thing because when turning the trimmer off, I would easily overshoot beyond the off position and end up unscrewing the whole thing.Functionally, it does what says on the box perfectly well.

This is a great little gadget and very versatile to use. There is a safe trimmer for eyebrow hair (with cutting guides), there is a nasal hair trimmer and an ear hair trimmer. There are two different head attachments depending on what you want to tidy up. The nasal hair trimmer is faster and more efficient than my budget buy trimmer. I like the eyebrow trimmer, as I do get overlong hairs growing!Works well and neat to use.

This is a cheap and cheerful nose and ear trimmer, and you know that? That's totally OK.This works perfectly, it comes with two heads, one for your nose and inner ear hair and a small trimmer for eyebrows etc. On the whole, it's actually very good, it is cheaply made but that does not affect its operation. Also, it comes with a battery included, which is a nice touch.

Very useful for a man of a certain age. Reaches hair inside the ear and nostrils with ease. Only part of it that I didn't like was the round attachment. It looked as though it was designed by a health and safety expert, but I found that it just didn't cut the hairs! The attachment shown in the picture above get's the job done nicely though.
