It's as though Angel's were forced to cry sweet, happy tears into the finest olorosso sherry and bourbon casks, those casks were transported to the most perfect place in the island of Ireland, to be gently caressed by the cold, wintry Irish winds, followed by gently warming breeze of summer for 21 glorious years, to be decanted into a receptacle of the gods, just for you to break the seal one balmy eve, pour slowly into your finest Irish crystal whiskey glass, each drop rolling into your glass like the sea on an idyllic beach, take the first sip and know you've experienced a piece of heaven!10/10

Multi-faceted and a little fruity. This is one of the most complex whiskeys I've ever tried and often comes across with 5 or 6 different flavors in each sip. It's intriguing and tasty. It is weirdly thick though and needs some water to be better, something I hate doing to a whiskey. At this price, it's not worth it. The Redbreast 12 is better and cheaper, not as complex or smooth, but at a 25% price difference, it's the one to go for.

Originally tried the Redbreast 12 yo and was a big fan, this is a much more concentrated version, so even better in my opinion! Notes of menthol and tropical fruit (hint of leather as well). Highly recommend!

I have tried all the available redbreast whiskies and this is definitely the best one.... But I don't think it is 4x as good as the standard 12yr to justify 4x the price... but you may think differently.

The biggest expression in the IPS range, this and Midleton Barry Crocket, are exquisite, don't buy it often but always have a bottle in the house, awesome dram.
