Update may 2013: Three years on my Radiopaq Rocks are still working perfectly. My headphones seem to be lasting so well I had wondered if Radiopaq have either downgraded the production quality or there are counterfeit ones about, given the negative reviews appearing recently - certainly the price has dropped a lot from the £40 retail they used to be. However I ordered two additional pairs at £10 each from Amazon resellers eHome in June 2012 and they were definately the genuine article and identical to the pair I got years ago. I am really obsessively careful with my headphones though, storing them in cases and not tightly wrapping their cable, and if paying a lot I always buy them direct from Amazon or a well known retailer (e.g.Superfi). These headphones are tightly bound inside their display pack and it is easy to damage them trying to extract them (don't pull, the little clear plastic widget comes out and then the headphones release and fall out). I'm into HiFi and these are a pair of my favourites in-ear headphones. The RadioPaq Rocks are no longer listed on Radiopaqs UK website (they are a British company), so they can't be in production anymore.-----------------------------Original review: I often use my larger Sennheiser PXC250 mk1 battery powered noise cancellation headphones with my iPod classic, and set to 'flat' equalisation they are fine for the home, car and train. However in some situations they are a bit large and aren't suited to energetic activities where they could fall off your head and get damaged. So I thought I'd try this pair of good looking pair of Radiopaq 'Tuned Rock' in-ear headphones, as I often listen to music of this sort. All my music is ripped from CDs to iTunes Plus or more frequently Apple Lossless for best sound quality (I am into HiFi sound).Getting the phones out of the pretty presentation box took some doing without damaging them. Once out, on my ears, the standard factory fitted black silicone ear cuffs worked well, sealing the phones to outer ear-hole [as usual two other sizes are supplied as well]. They hold on reasonably tightly and the seal to the ear canal is essential to get a balanced sound with decent bass from them [otherwise they can sound very tinny]. The wires hold any bends tenaciously and years on the cable is still kinked from being folded in the presentation box - this presumably is related to the anti-tangle claim though [and admittedly the wires don't tangle]. In use external noises were well damped out, as typical with in-ear phones. Comfort was also typical, being as good [or is it as bad] as any in-ear phones I've used. These Radiopaqs's aural sound stage is good, but the headphones are a tad bright (which I like), and strangely for 'Rock Tuned' headphones they are a bit bass light [it is there though - and the bass is affected by how tightly you push them into the ear canal]. Being into HiFi personally I prefer clarity over bass any day.In comparison with my many other in-ear phones, these Radiopaqs do come in on the bright and detailed side - I like vocals and they sound good for that, but can occasionally be slightly sibilant. The cables do have a tendency to 'ring' a bit when they rub together, although the phones damp out external sounds very well [ie. you can't hear someone talking to you that well, although loud external noises still intrude]. The phones are classy looking, well made, and discrete. These Radiopaqs headphone leads, from ear to plug, are about 3 feet long.

I have tried a few different in-ears lateley. This is a good product, especially considering the price. They have a good bass, I think they are most suitable for bass intensive music like rock (surprise!) or house. When you play pop the sound is a little "isolated" , but pretty good anyway. I will buy another pair for my wife.

Reached pretty fast, good quality for the price of 10£. One of the problems is that the earphone doesn't remain in the ears while walking. I don't know it's just me or anyone else has this problem.
