As the title implies, if you want great tone and extreme longevity look no further.They don't sound quite as bright as un-coated strings when new but retain this slightly played in tonality for absolutely ages.They absolutely DO outlast normal strings by at least a factor of three to four times - if you are someone with dry skin who doesn't sweat too much maybe even five times as long.These strings are a real bonus if you suffer from oily skin and corrosive sweat and don't relish changing strings too often.

Love d'addaro strings somehow they seem looser than other strings !, the sound is so much better than any other strings i have tried on my acoustics and they last a long time too .
