This is a helmet that is as low-profile as one can get according to EU safety standards. It has an oval shape rather than a round spherical profile more common with moped helmets. The interior materials for this helmet are wonderful: a combination of plush black leather and grey suede in top. I have a surprisingly good fit for my rather large melon with a size M, the snugness helps when wearing a neck tube over my head and hair. Further more the light-weight characteristics of this are unbelievable: extremely lightweight and by far the only helmet I've worn that can go over 12 hours straight with no neck strain whatsoever for serious riders {or in my case someone who wants to enjoy as much as possible in the rental time specified to get my money's worth!}.

I have an on-going problem with helmets as I must have an odd shaped head. This is the 7th helmet I've bought in the last 5 years. I already have a Bell 500 open-face in XXL which proved to be too big. So I went for the XL which normally, I find too tight and after every ride I have the inside pattern of the helmet emblazoned on my head (bald) and forehead. However, this was immediately comfortable and I have fewer impressions than I was expecting. It's very comfortable - for me at least. The construction is good. I particularly like the leather edging around the face opening and the red-contrast stitching. The inside is deeply soft and comfortable. It seems quite low profile compared to some of the other open faced helmets I have,

Broke my own Golden Rule with this purchase, in never buying before trying, but because of pandemic took a chance after reading lots of reveiws so wrote this to help anyone else. ive never had much luck with helmets as they do vary in size, had the best luck ( after trying with Shoei, shark ) having shoe full atm for general i decided i needed a summer hat, having had plenty in past & rather than having a forehead ive a fivehead, some in the past have left me chuckling in mirror at bikeshops. i purchased this bell 500 custom supplied through amazon from J&S Accessories Ltd. it was made as dated in 2018, is XL my head circum is 610 at top of ears & have to say its probably the best fitting helmet out of the box ive ever purchased,

I have been searching this model for months! Most sites do not have stock anymore, and finally found it here in motardinn. Although it was a little more expensive, I guess because of the limited supply. Im usually a medium in other helmets but sized up for the bell custom. The Large is a bit hard to put on (i had to stretch the cheek part) but once its on, it has enough space for a bluetooth comms system (i use cardo). However i find the inner top of the helmet hard (i might add a thin foam under the liner so it hits my head softer) Ordered March 5, Received March 31 via philpost to the Philippines - that's not too bad since we have a notoriously slow post office. Received the helmet well packed with a nice bag,

After seeing more helmets of various brands I chose the Bell 500 DLX helmet for the historicity of the brand and in addition in this version supplied there is an excellent long smoked visor that also covers the side of the helmet very well which avoids annoying rustles. I took the size L following the indications of the size chart and I find it a little difficult to wear the helmet but once worn it fits very well and I am very satisfied with the purchase for the good quality / price ratio .... finally congratulations to Motardinn for the seriousness and speed in delivering the package

Great looking helmet. The only criticism is that it sits quite low at the front and was uncomfortable with the goggles that I wore digging into my nose. My bike is a Cafe Racer style with low handlebars and so with the helmet being low at the front it takes some getting used to. Hoping that in the summer my sunglasses will be OK with this great looking helmet.

I asked for a motorcycle helmet, it was the page that gave the best price but they had to wait for it to enter their warehouse to serve me, after writing an email and commenting that I wanted it for a gift one day, my order arrived just when I needed it thanks to its management. Super recommended to buy at motardinn

I bought an ordinary 500, but I am happy that it comes with a black leather helmet bag and can be stored even with the optional 5 snap visor. The Bell5 snap visor goes well together. The size I usually use is L and Japanese people say that the width is narrow, but it was okay with L without problems.

It took almost two months from the order to the arrival of the product. Probably the cargo from the Netherlands to the Far East was sent by sea after the container was full, but I would like to use it again, focusing on the fact that you can buy it cheaply in exchange for time.

Top of its class this helmet , product description does not tell you that it comes with a fixed smoked visor, peak , and bag , so a few extras , it is also the cheapest place to buy from

Good afternoon, in 3 working days, I received the BELL Custom 500 DLX helmet, very well packaged, perfect, however the accessories (visor and sun protection) are missing, as announced.

Good quality helmet, fairly low profile for an open faced helmet. Feels secure and substantial enough to do the job. Very well made and stylish design. I can't fault it.
