Got this to replace my 5yr old caberg trip and the difference in quality is excellent the helmet itself is a very solid feel even when you lift the front up it still feels excellent the visor is very good quality and comes with something called pinlock which I'd not had before but comes in the box for you to put on you're visor for those who don't know what it is its a kind of anti-fog silicone sealed visor that you can easily put on the inside off your visor I've been for ride in the cold and no fog on me visor at all very pleased this helmet also has an internal sun visor which for me really helps when the sun does come out this helmet is pretty good on the weight side at 1550grms I take amedium size my head is 57cm and I ts a perfect fit very comfortable padding vents on the front fairly good and there's a decent one on the top which can be opened & closed the button on the front makes it easy to lift the front up I bought mettalic black and its a very nice paint job and lastly this helmet can be used with front open as it has a small button on the side that locks the front in the up position all in all excellent helmet would recommend .

I think I have found the perfect modular helmet with all the things I like. It is light in weight has a large visor aperture, a pinlock fitted a solid clamp shut with large centre tang for easy gloved hand opening. There is a large space in between my face and the visor. The tinted visor has good optical quality and has infinite positions rather than fully open or closed. I like to ride with the tint just covering my eyes and look down at the instruments through the clear visor. Also unlike my previous Caberg does not suffer from excessive wind noise and has adequate room for comms. I currently own a Shoei, Arai, BMW System 6, And Nitro and most of those cost best part of £500 I paid £125 for the Duke...Sooooo pleased.

Highly recommended !I tried all Full-face helmet, not even XXL can fit onto my top big head.Caberg Duke Flip up (L) to the rescue ! It fit wonderfully. It is cool and stylish all for a reasonable price, wearing this with other body armor look impressive!Has saved my head and chin from tons of pain in crash! It has achieved a Sharp rating of 5 stars (max) for safety ( UK highest standard)!Features-packed with double visors, anti-fog, anti-UV...Good air-flow.I am so proud of my caberg Duke, I even use this for cos-play, ice-skate, inline skate !And it's made in Italy ! I Love Italy Caberg's innovative, stylish, reasonable priced helmet!http://www.caberg.it/index.php?lang=en

After much deliberation, I chose this in white, After a week and 300 miles I can report, the item is comfortable with some excellent features. The button operation is a bit clunky till you get use to it, and the internal sun visor seems to adjust my glasses prescription, but overall excellent and recommended, I have yet to use it in the wet so not thoroughly tested yet. The pinlock is the best I have had to date, the insert doesn't move its stuck tight against the visor. My only complaint is the operation of the visor release, it's really awkward to get the visor back on. But overall 4 out of 5.Yes I would recommend this for the money

Arrived very quickly and when I picked up the box I didn't think it was my helmet inside because it felt too light! And yet it feels very solid and well built. I've only done one ride so far with it, but it blocks out wind noise well and also keeps the cold air out of my eyes extremely well, while not fogging up at all (comes with pinlock). You don't even need to lift the visor at the lights because it's very breatheable. I got the Small and was worried it might be too tight but it actually fits perfectly and there is definitely enough room next to the ears for fitting a Bluetooth system (next on my list).

By far the best flip face helmet I've ever owned. Also the only flip face helmet I've seen that has maximum protection from all angles on the SHARP safety rating scale. Noise is far less than other flip face helmets and the mechanism being on the outer mouth section means no hole on the underside of the helmet where wind can sneak in. The included pinlock is a god send and prevents fogging even in the worst situations. Only downside is the lock on the side sometimes gets stuck when the face is in the up position which can be a pain, though that may be an individual defect.

Bought this helmet and rode on the motorway on my first trip. It looks good, operates well by opening and closing fairly easily, and has some cool features like visor(s) and vents. Two things I should mention.I is of the bigger helmets. It just looks and feels big.The other thing is that it presses on my cheeks a bit too hard, making long rides slightly uncomfortable. I have been told though that with time, the innings do soften a bit.Otherwise, I can recommend

Not bought a helmet for nearly 40 years. After lots of research into safety, design, durability and comfort, the Caberg Duke exceeded my expectations. A superb helmet with flexible wearing options – particularly like the multi-positionable visor for low speeds and ventilation. Virtually no wind noise. Sunvisor easy to operate with gloved hand and not too dark. Only negative was that operating the flip-up front button in gloves was fiddley.

This is an excellent helmet ,much quieter than my previous helmet which was a Nolan n86..It comes with pinlock as standard. The mechanism for opening and closing the face of the helmet is easy to use even with motorbike gloves on. Other reviewers have said they found it hard to remove and refit the visor ,if you take your time and follow the instructions its actually quiet easy. Overall an excellent helmet and would highly recommend it.

I purchased mine in July 2016 and I ride from Cambridge to London every day come rain, wind, snow or sunshine. The Caberg Duke is slightly heavier than a full face due to the flip front but bar that it is a great helmet. Quiet, warm, good fit, easy to fit intercom in, dry and has great vents. I do around 26,000 miles a year on the bike and so far this helmet has done over 48,000 miles and is still as good as when it was new.

The Duke has all the features of a modular helmet. It is very competitively priced and its mechanisms for opening, sunglasses are very sturdy and feel rock solid. The cushioning feels premium and feels very good.At higher speeds 120+ km/h it is loud and has some strange sounds like something is loose, but I could not find anything. But being a communal helmet at low price, this is not unexpected.

This was bought as a replacement for my old Box helmet. It came pin-lock ready with a pin-lock insert to help prevent misting up in the cold. The pin-lock insert was a bit fiddly as this was the first I fitted. The helmet has a snug fit and is a lot lighter than the Box Helmet about 500 grams in this size.Visibility is good, A good all round helmet for general riding/commuting

16.5.2013

First the negatives. It is just as noisy as my previous Caberg Trip. The visor is fiddley to remove and refit. The visor release catch is near on impossible to operate with gloves on.Now the positives.Very comfortable.Comes with Pinlock as standard.Superb ventilation.Very light. It is blue tooth ready, (although you need the kit).Looks good. All in all good value.

Not even half as expensive as my old Shoei now scraped to s**t, thank you very much minicab driver on the A6, and yet I like it, didn't think I'd like the gimmick of the front of the helmet lifting up but I use it every chance I get, at first feels like it restricts your view but I'm used to it now, also fell off the bed today, no marks, it's kind of big as well.

Great helmet at a great price - delivered on time and I am very pleased with the service. The helmet is really comfy and is an excellent fit for my 'medium' head - 57 cms. Far superior fit and a lot qieter than my last flip helmet which was a Box - certainly worth the extra £££s. Would certainly recommend the supplier MSG and the Caberg Duke helmet.
