Our Switch lives in its Dock under our telly most of the time, controlled with a pro controller, so the Joycons hardly ever get used. This works fine, except when somebody comes over and wants to play Mario Party. Inevitably we then had 2 charged Joycons and 2 dead ones, and the charging process is not superfast by any means.This knatty little box sits right beside the switch and keeps all 4 joy cons topped up with charge. The device is powered with a standard USB-A type connector, which is hardwired to the device. In my case, I connected that to the USB port at the back of the Dock and left it to do its thing. The device has a little power indicator beside each controller. Red indicates the joycon is charging,

it works perfectly no problems whatsoever it charged my joy-cons perfectly! having more than two can be difficult because you can only charge 2 at a time on the dock but with this i can charge up to 6 total (2 on the console and 4 in the dock) it's powered by USB which simply plugs into the switch and it sits beside the switch and doesn't look out of place at all and if you want to store it just wrap the wire around the grips on the underside of the charging dock! it's really simple and the joy-cons slide in and out of the dock and it's so smooth and easy to do! definitely get one of these if you have more than 2 joy-cons it really is amazing and at £30 it's a really decent price it has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel cheaply made at all!

This charging station doesn't take up much space and isn't heavy incase you need to move it around. It connects to the Switch dock by the UBS slot.There are lights on top of the station to show when a controller is charging (red) and when it's fully charged (green). Sometimes I find that I've accidentally not put the controller onto the station properly, so the absence of a light tells me that it's not charging (really useful).The controllers are fully attached to the station when charging so it doesn't feel like it will fall off (like it does with other charging stations which only connect to a section of the controller).

Non detachable USB-A cable is a let down. But it does plug into the Switch’s dock station without any hassle and it will charge two pairs of Switch Controllers (Joycons).Fatter adult fingers might have trouble pushing the release button on the back of the controllers when both pairs of controllers are mounted to the charger. As the gap between the first set of controllers on the front of the charger are a little too close to the second set of controllers mounted to the back of the charger. But children don’t seem to have an issue.

Brilliant device fir charging 4 Joyce's at once. There is a light on the top which glows green when the joycons are charged or red for charging. If there are no Joyce's attached there is no light, the lights stay on otherwise. It blends in with the docking station so doesn't look out of place in the living room. Can't say how long it takes to charge as my daughter normal plays and uses both sets. Never had an issue of none being available to play. Good value and quality, never had any issues, would highly recommend!

This is a great charging dock it styles in with the Nintendo switch console very nicely I would recommend you buy this one rather then the hori one because the base on this one is smaller and it has the usb stored inside the base and you can adjust the cable to different lengths it has four led lights on the top for each joycon that gets connected to the dock the joycons slip on and off the dock very nicely the quality of this is really good and it is very sturdy and looks very sleek next to the switch

Very pleased I decided to buy this as an additional item when purchasing the Switch. We can charge up the joy cons independently of the console, and can charge 4 at the same time or individually as required. Clear LED lights to indicate when fully charged, and easy to correctly place the joy cons in place. I was also able to fully charge the joy cons before wrapping the set up to ensure the switch was ready to go on Christmas morning.

After buying a switch and 2 extra joy cons (4 in total), this charging dock was a must and it is great! Really easy to use but needs a USB plug adaptor to really charge them quickly as charging via USB to console is slower. The 4 joy cons slide in easily and it turns them into a nice tree of joy cons, which looks cool. Really easy, really simple and really effective to get all 4 charging. A must have.

Bought this to charge the 4 Joy cons we have. It does charge them but the red light never changes to green however long it's on charge. So the only way to see if they're charged is to put them on the console to check. I would've taken it back but due to the current Covid-19 the stores are rightly not open. I wouldn't recommend this as I think they charge better on the console.

Good charger but I only bought it because other reviews on here said no charger came with the switch and as it was a Christmas present for my daughter didn’t want to be unable to use it on Christmas Day. However, on using the Switch, the unit can be charged by the main holder so it was an unnecessary purchase. If we ever get extra chargers will come in handy then I guess.

I normally play on my Switch on my own, so it was pretty common having the two extra joy con always flat when I had people around to play Mario Kart or Mario Party.However, since I bought this, I can always have my joy cons ready. It's really small, which I like because I can optimise my space, and can be plugged on the back on the dock.

OK so first off if your getting a Nintendo Switch then you need this because there is no way of charging the controllers you get from the Base box Nintendo Switch so its a must buy unless a couple hours and bang controllers are dead i would say get this one as its the best one out there and its made by Nintendo its a no brainier really.

We bought a switch and this was a wonderful addition to help everyone in the family play and keep going. Can charge 4 joy-con at once which is great for making sure the family all have a controller! And with lights to show you which ones charged and which one is charging it’s even easy for my youngest to understand!

Not much to it, just a quick and easy way of charging multiple joycons. Annoying that, like the switch, it can't really be placed on a lower shelf because you have to slide up to remove them. Nice that the lights go off until you touch it, so that they're not on constantly while fully charged next to your console.

Awesome gear here. Holds 4 joy cons at the same time and let's you know with red or green lights whether they are charged or not. It's nice and small so doesn't take up loads of space. Only gripe is the USB cord to plug it in isn't the longest, so be prepared to buy a USB extension cord depending on your setup.
