This is one of several reviews I will be doing of various gins.I have something of a gin habit and rather geekily score gins for both g&t and martini on a spreadsheet (I mix 1:5 with a twist of lemon, well I don't mix it myself that's what husbands are for). I score out of ten and I give my go to gin (Bombay London) a 5 out of 10 to act as a baseline to judge against. We score more than once so I get an idea of how they taste over different times and occasions. I bought this in some mega promotion and saved loads. That's the primary reason I bought It to be honest. Having said that, the gin itself is very drinkable, although not particularly striking in flavour. There are no surprises. A traditional, English gin with no frills. It is, however, strong as hell, so be warned! I learned why it's called Navy Strength soon enough, and this stuff should be shown some respect.Thoroughly enjoyable tipple.

This stuff is amazing! Gin pure and simple with a kick without being too harsh. I drank this with fevertree Mediterranean tonic and lots of ice. It was amazing. Great value too. I got this for £29 on here. Well worth it. If you like gin that tastes like gin then try this.

This Gin is like loopy juice for me and I LOVE IT!! because you are getting Navy Strength 57% it means you dont need as much as you normally pour.. its lovely and if you like your Gin to be Gin and not some funny taste the this is the one for you

Not sure if this or Tarquins Seadog is my favourite, but since this is better value for money I shall stick with this. It's got proper gin flavour which stands out from some of the wishy washy 'premium' gins that are more about bull than flavour!

Bought as a last minute addition for New Year festivities, for a discerning crowd and was not disappointed. Arrived sooner than I had hoped and with neat secure packing that we all suspected would have survived a stampede!

As a janner there is no argument about the most consistent premier gin.... Plymouth Navy Strength and at this price it would be a dereliction of duty not to snaffle a bottle !

The strength of this gin makes it perfect for cocktails as well as a straight G&T. Hailing from Plymouth I think that I was weaned on this stuff ant it still tastes wonderful.

This is a premium strength gin which is good for cocktails or G&Ts as the strength is not diluted with ice or other ingredients. Its very nice with aromatic tonic.

I cannot rate its thickness and sheerness highly enough with a mere five stars since I haven't got a clue what on earth is the relevance of these two words.

A stronger Gin which I really like. Busy exploring different brands and I shall re-order on this one. My favourite is Horrocks which suits my palate.

Bought when it was on offer, convenient as it’s my favourite gin. If you want a flavoursome gin and are not scared of the % this is the gin for you.

First class, always have Plymouth gin navy strength as the special one, so not my everyday gin. You really do get what you pay for in this instance.
