I'm no connoisseur of expensive fancy vodkas so people who are..don't take aim at me if you buy this vodka and don't love it. I'm used to your usuals, smirnoff, russian standard etc.I've only had a few flavoured vodkas, several from Absolut. The Absolut ones are god awful, you cannot drink those straight unless you like the taste of washing up liquid for a flavour. It's so chemical-y and just synthetic..even with a mixer I don't want it.Then I had Whitley Neills rhubarb vodka, which was a significant improvement. No chemical taste at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it and at £15 I was pretty damn pleased. However after so much of it I was put off as it was certainly sweet.Maybe better to mix with something that balances it out. I was drinking it straight. Sworn off Absolut and still very curious about flavoured vodkas, I tried a miniature of this from Sainsbury's and w o w.THIS is incredible and I've not bought any other vodka since. Only £22 for 43% alcohol is impressive on it's own but the taste is so beautiful and warm. No need for a mixer. If you want to go ahead but I think it would only take away from the beauty of this smooth vodka. Doesn't give my heartburn either like a lot of straight spirits seem to. Can't recommend it enough.

My regular tipple is L&G's Woodford Reserve Bourbon, but when I found myself in the local Booths picking a few things up for Xmas I spotted Whitley Neill's Blood Orange Vodka on the shelves. Something about it drew me to it, maybe the elegant simplicity of the bottle, maybe a reminder of my teenage love of Blood Oranges and it's unique citrus tang, or just the desire to treat myself to something a little different over the break. Whatever it was, I'm so glad I tried it ... it is absolute perfection ... just wait till the subtle burst of Blood Orange flavor hits and explodes on your tongue ... incredible! It's such a clean gorgeous Vodka with no odd aftertaste. In the same way that since discovering Woodford Reserve,it would be impossible to go back to the generic Jack Daniels or Jim Beam, it will be impossible to go back to Smirnoff etc after this. So, I have a new best friend ... and by the way, I went straight back to Booths and bought another 3 bottles in case they sold out. After looking at their other products, I noticed they do their own Gin. My partner is a fan of Brockman's Gin so I plan to buy her a bottle to try, and look forward to trying it out myself ... (o;

Well this is different! I'm a fan of Whitley Neill gin, and couldn't resist a bottle of this when I saw it on offer (below £20).A straw colour, this gin is super sweet; there is an amazing punch of sweet fruit, predominantly pear, and this alone makes the gin rather unique. The closest I could compare it to is G'Vine, but this is a nicer gin. Pair carefully with tonic and drink this with plenty of ice, I would avoid forward tonics such as schweppes and contrary to my usual recommendations, I'd go for Fever Tree light, to balance the sweetness.Not a gin I would drink lots of, but very nice all the same and a welcome drink in the collection.

This is a gin that's great for aesthetics and pretty good for taste. The bottle is a gorgeous looking thing especially with the greeny/yellow gin inside. The colour of the gin also affects your G&T colour in a manner that is particularly pleasant to look at.My only qualm is that it only tastes great with a good tonic. With Fever Tree it was absolutely delicious whereas a slightly cheaper tonic water and it lost some of the quince flavour and ended up being rather bland. Also probably not a great gin for cocktails, but it would certainly give a martini an interesting under current of flavour and make it look a pretty cool colour.

What a nice bottle to grace anyone’s party ( Christmas bar ) or as a present for a loved one, or even when I get invited to a party the colour will make your bottle stand out from the crowd, I purchased this for my own Christmas party bar, or I might taste it tonight and order another one or two. One to keep and one to take to a party works do, and if I like it then it might be the one I always have for my own use at home. It arrived extremely quickly, if you like my review go on purchase a bottle or two you won’t be disappointed Merry Christmas 2017

Fabulous gin, and even having tried 25+ different gins recently, this is one I keep coming back to. Forget your lemon or lime garnishes, for a fantastic Whitley Neill G&T, take a high ball glass and drop a slice of orange at the bottom. Fill half way with ice, then put in a couple more wedges of orange. A couple of dashes of orange bitters (but no worries if you don't have bitters - this is almost as good without), pour ice to the top, then 50ml gin, topped up with chilled Fever Tree, and you have an amazing G&T with a really refreshing difference.

At first taste, its citrusy, followed by the exotic spice and warmth, and is overall very smooth and far too easy drinking. It leaves a trace of the spice behind, subtle and more earthy than at first taste. A traditional Gin & Tonic is normally served with Lemon or Lime. However with Whitley Neill I served it with slices of orange instead, with plenty of ice. The freshness and zing of the orange is very complimentary to the Gin and looks very attractive in the glass. I need to order another bottle !!

Lovely flavoured Gin!!! Only downside is it is so lovely it slips down nicely ?????.This was also the best price available at the time. My husband has recently started drinking flavoured Gin and he said this is is of his favourite's so far! We drank it with Lemonade rather then Tonic as I prefer flavoured Gin's with Lemonade or Sparkling water as I find the Tonics can over power the flavour of the guns. Although I do enjoy a regular gin with Tonic ( Elderflower Tonic).Highly recommend.

Delicious, I am not normally one for flavoured gins but as I did like the quince gin, I though I would give this one a go. I was pleasantly surprised, sweet but not sickly sweet, definitely taste the gooseberries, very refreshing and not an artificial taste at all. I was a bit nervous about trying it as I thought the rhubarb gin was horrible and tasted more like bubble gum, but with this I think they have redeemed themselves. I would definitely recommend.

What a revelation. This Gin has a wonderful depth of flavour and a real kick to it. Combined with a good Tonic water and ice or whatever you choose to serve it with , the flavours burst through. Sharp , refreshing citrus Lemon and Pear , it's amazing , and at 43 percent proof , for me and my Wife it's probably one of the best Gins we've ever tried.I know one man's meat etc . but we reckon if you like a great tasting robust Gin , this one's a winner.

This Gin in my opinion is superior to Gordons or any other leading dry gin, it is smooth, with a subtle flavour & is excellent with both tonic & in cocktails.I first tasted this Gin in a Loch-Fyne returant in York UK, & I will definitly be ordering more of the same. An Excellent Gin, I also compared this gin to the well publicised Gin sold by Aldi, no comparison, Whitley Neil London Dry Gin is far superior.C Randall

Really love this Gin! In my top five and close to the top of that :) I’ve tried it with normal tonic, on its own over ice and more recently with Fevertree Mediterranean tonic and a slice of lime - heavenly. Also had it in a glass of Prosecco at some friends and it’s amazing but way too easy to drink and ridiculously potent - hence I was out of action the following day!! Try this gin, you won’t be disappointed ?

A very nice raspberry gin. I find Whitley Neil offer very decent, smooth gins (the rhubarb and ginger is also a favourite). The raspberry is sharp and full bodied but tastes delicate and moorish with (even) a basic supermarket own brand tonic water. Top tip, Whitley Neil often sells for £20-22 on offer when normally more expensive (£26+) so try to buy it when it’s on offer for even better value for money

I love parma violets and this is great! It tastes just like them but the taste isn't overpowering, I have been drinking with lemonade as I am not a huge fan of shorts and I have been really enjoying it, not that I have been getting much of a look in as my husband has been enjoying a large shot before bedtime after drinking wine all evening! (he has been enjoying the strength as well as the aftertaste!

Delicious. This is a slightly sweet gin, but it's really a delightful drink. My brother tasted this and immediately bought two bottles for himself. He prefers to drink it over ice, neat. I prefer it with tonic.Either way it's a very nice variation on "regular" gin.I'm not sure I'd drink it exclusively, since a less sweet gin is very nice too, but I liked this enough to buy another two bottles.
