Well what can l say, slurp, this is a...slurp...regular buy in my slurp.... house hold. Mmmmm hic totally moreish slurp and tantalising on the hic tast hic ebuds. Very slurp nice with a slurp splash ? mmmm of Elderflower tonic slurppp hic or a dashhhhhh hic in any fizzzzzz hic wine. Wouldn’t have Champers slurp though as both are to nice to have to hic mmmm hic gether. Or just get some slurp mmmm ice and have slurp ??? mmmmm it neat. The gentleman ...refused to hand it over to me .... unless I had photo identification .???? I said to him I have a birth certificate ..he said its no good ...you need photo identification ?? Im 47 years old .....and I look older than 18 !!!!! He advised me to get some photo identification sorted ..... I had to ask a neighbour to do the photo identification as I don't have any picture identification ....never have I ever had to go through this when I have ordered any gin for my daughter for her birthday or Xmas from amazon ....

This gin is by far the best I have ever tasted.It tastes just like rhubarb and custard sweets when mixed with lemonade. Not the usual gin mixer I know but it seemed wrong to mix this with tonic. I don’t advise adding lemons as it does kill off the rhubarb taste somewhat.I initially was put off with the fact it has ginger in as I don’t like ginger much, but can say it’s a very minimal subtle hint of ginger.I highly recommend giving this product a try and the price is the cheapest I have found both online and in the shops

There is nothing to dislike at all with the taste as it is superb. I have purchased 3 bottles now from Amazon and it has arrived by the following day. Wish they still sold it as a gift set, as the Whitley Neill glass is a lovely shape and a a great birthday present or just use keep it for your own personal use. I always add some Fever tree Mediterranean brand of tonic water to enjoy the drink as the flavours blend together perfectly. Also try out the raspberry flavour which also has the delightful refreshing taste.

After a bad experience with drinkinv straight Gin at 14 years old, I've only just this year drank it for the first time since then.I've now become a Gin drinker after trying a Rhubarb and Ginger gin with tonic, ice and a slice of lemon whilst on holiday!Hooked! I've tried a few others but the Rhubarb varieties are my favourite tipple now!I've been advised that there's a certain no frills store selling a Blueberry and Vanilla variety which is apparently well worth trying out , so that'll be next then!!!

If you're looking for an unusual and memorable gin gift, this one has to be on your list. Admittedly, for some, the ingredients sound a bit weird but whether with tonic or without, this gin offers a gentle new take on this versatile spirit. By far the favourite gin of my partner. It accentuates the Rhubard and Ginger flavours really well without going overboard on them. Not too sweet or too bitter and it walks that goldilocks terrirory nicely, just a well balanced once unique item. It has been imitated but it remains the best, certainly at this value point, and its good that the brand hasn't overpriced themselves as other have in blatant attempts at securing exclusivivity by virtue of price only

Bought this for my daughter as she wanted to try this flavour, she’s not a very big drinker & finds to hard to find anything alcoholic wise that she actually likes, she loves this very subtle ginger flavour bit overpowering, very slight flavour & the rhubarb is just right! She loves it & has now bought her second bottle! She drinks it with lemonade, & is loving drinking for the first time in her life she’s nearly 24 & as finally found a drink she loves!

I've tried this gin once before and it's lush. A nice tang of Rhubarb on the intake, with a nine warming feeling once its down. A nice winter gin. The bottle is stylish, really nice colour (this is not the colour of the gin, it's clear).Sadly this is not for me, but for my mum for Christmas, beautifully wrapped by amazon (we'll worth the few extra £'s for this service) and delivered on time and in one piece by a very friendly driver. This is the 23rd type of gin I’ve tryed and it is by far the best tasting gin thats wet my palette,,, i’m not usually a great fan of favoured gins there sometimes over done bordering on liquor, but this whitley neill has a perfect balance, love it,, there is so many gins out there now, theres no need to spend the £30 mark to get a brilliant gin anymore, and I think the distillers are starting to release this,, £20 for this is a bargain!!!

I've tried this before and loved it, but this bottle doesn't seem to taste as nice, and after only having 1 glass I felt quite Ill with stomach ache. I tried it a second time with the same effect. I haven't gone back to try it again. Probably just a bad batch as Whitley Neil are a very good brand normally. I wouldn't buy it again just because of this bottle, but wouldn't hesitate to buy the BlackBerry or other flavours.

New gin convert here, having made my own sloe gin a couple of years ago. A friend recommended this and I bought a taster sized bottle of the Rhubarb and Ginger to try. Mixed it with a low calorie tonic water.. so delicious! Bought a larger bottle, and it’s my favourite gin. Tastes quite sweet, so maybe not one to drink on its own. But mixed with a tonic it’s like a light, citrussy liquid sherbert dip.

Been through a few bottles of this now and must say it is both my wife and I's favourite gin at the moment. Tastes lovely with tonic or neat if you prefer and nice mixed 50/50 with a decent quality tonic. A slice of lime adds to it.When you are finished with it use a bottle cutter to cut the top off the bottle and the purple bottom sections makes a good albeit small vase too.

I can't say I am an expert when it comes to gin. I usually mix it with tonic and so don't bother spending a lot and Aldi's own brand has been good enough.I bought this one to see what a flavoured gin was like. It took a while to get the rhubarb flavour to come through and I had expected a sharpness of the ginger. That didn't happen. It's quite subtly flavoured.
