My French bulldog is black and white, his nose is very pink and burns easily in the sun, he can also burn on his belly & butt. More surprisingly when it is very sunny he can burn through his coat on his back, you can see his skin is very pink the following day. He loves lying in the sun so this product it great to protect his skin.People suncream contains zinc, which is highly toxic to dogs, so please buy dog safe suncream like this.The smell is so nice, it’s really coconutty. When I get the bottle out my dog gets very excited, we use coconut oil to keep his nose/feet/coat in good condition also, so he obviously loves the coconut smell.I will spray it on my hands to apply to his face,

Well I tried this out, even though it isn't sunny enough, just to see whether it made the coat greasy or discoloured. It doesn't, which is great.My dog didn't seem to mind me spraying it on her, didn't try to lick it off and like it says on the back, the colour quickly disappears. I can't tell how deeply it penetrates into the coat onto the skin, or if it actually works to prevent burning though.It also didn't change the coat texture when dry as much as I thought it would - although it obviously does a bit and is noticeable. For what it is though, it isn't greasy on hair like most human lotions are on us, and I don't think you can expect it to be an entirely normal fur texture.Scent wise - a bit sugary and synthetic to me.

We use this on our elderly terrier's belly and nose. Unfortunately she is an old sun loving dog who loves nothing than to laze belly up sun worshiping in the garden. This means her belly is exposed to the sun and the poor mite can get a tad red. She's white furred so has pale skin. I rub this into her belly on sunny days and add a splog on her snout which is thinning of fur, it helps to give her ample protection to allow her to sun her self all day.

I use this on my white dog as advised by the vet. However, she does not like the noise of the spray so we prefer to spray directly onto our palms and then apply to dog. This works very well and smells beautiful. Have also tried the wipes which are fine. Did order the sun block but unfortunately our dog decided to take matters into her own hands and ate it before we could apply it. Will stick to the spray.

I have been using this on my white French bulldog. He has a pink face and ears so I am always trying to protect them as he loves being outside. Never had any problems with this product, no reactions or irritations and I have been using it every day since it arrived. This product personally worked well for him. Would recommend if you have a white/fair haired dog.

Smells really nice, hard to tell if it does the job but I assume it does. I find it easier to spray it on my hands and rub it on my dog instead of chasing her around with the bottle trying to spray her! The smell of coconut stays on her for days after, it's lovely. She has sensitive skin so was a bit worried about using this but it didn't irritate her at all.

I have a sick dog that had to have his coat removed bought this to protect him whilst it grows back. He has spent sometime outside, allbeit lying in his bed and in the shade for the most part but no sunburn - the scent is very mild and doesn't bother him at all. On that basis I have no problem recommending this product.

Sadly my little collie didn't like this stuff being applied, though I tried spraying it onto my hand and then onto the wee pink parts of her face. Perhaps if it had smelt of something a bit 'less perfumed' it would have been more acceptable to her, but possibly less to her family. May try again now she's a little older.

Put this on my dogs ears as they have very little fur in them. I don’t let her go in the sun too much if I can help it. Only thing is the spray bottle doesn’t work, so I have to take the top off to get the cream out, which makes it awkward as you need three hands. It would get 5/5 if the bottle spray part worked.

Excellent product that I have used on our white Bengal female for three years now - was told by my vets that this is one of the best on the market. Have had no problems at all with this. It's a gentle spray which doesn't alarm the cat as much as an aerosol can may. Will continue buying every year x

Excellent coverage. I find it works much better than the stick version but that’s probably because my dog is tiny and a wriggler!! It feels like you get more product for your money than the stick version as it’s seems to have lasted longer but that might be fluke!

Great product, having 2 white dogs that need to be protected in the sun the spray goes a long way. It does not leave fur greasy absorbs quickly and leaves a fresh coconut smell. And i know that like the rest of the family they are protected in the sun.

At first, I was worried that our dog would lick it and get sick. He wasn't and even though he is afraid of sprays, he let us spray him with this product (mostly on his belly). I don't know how necessary it was to spray him but his skin looks just fine.

I thought it best to buy one of these for when my dog goes in the sun as she is very fair. you just spray it on before going out. it smells nice and is very easy to apply. The bottle lasts a while as the sun is not always out in the UK!

effective sun spray my dog doesn't seem to mind it as a block it works and i have had not had problems with him trying to lick it off. only slight problem is the sray nozzle is a bit haphazard but on the whole pleased with the product
