The graphics are very good for a childrens game - bright, simple and everything looks just like it does on television. The sounds, voices and music are also recognisable from the programme. I like the fact that all of the games are narrated too. There is no reading required which makes it perfectly suitable for preschoolers (each game has drawn instructions at the beginning, rather than written instructions). Quite often Nintendo DS games are rated as 3+ years but then have lots of writing which makes it impossible for young children to play.Games include Picking Apples, Watering Flowers, The Dressing Up Game, Feeding Ducks, Making Pictures, Bursting Balloons, Cupcakes, Birthday Cake,Daddy Pig's Bubbles, George's Rocket and Cleaning Bicycles. Some of the games have objectives but others are freeplay. All of the games are fun, fairly simple and educational. My daughter really enjoyed this game as a 3 year old, she could play most of the games with ease but a couple of the games were slightly more challenging. She is now 4 (approaching 5) and still plays and enjoys her Peppa Pig game from time to time (all of the games are extremely easy for her now), although she plays it a lot less than her other Nintendo DS games.I would best recommend this game to 3 and 4 year olds. Possibly even tech-savvy 2 year olds! I probably wouldn't recommend this game for children older than 5 though, as it will be far too easy and would get boring quite quickly.

This game was purchased for my daughter who is two years old - actually two years and 4 months. I have to say that at this age, she is probably just too young, albeit there are games on there that she can play - and so I would not be put off by the minimum age recommendation of 3.There are four so called areas within Peppa Pig World, and in each area, there are a number of games. As I have mentioned, my daughter is only two yrs old so several of the games, albeit interactive and intuitive, are a little complicated for her. I guess I would go as far in saying that she will and does not understand them. However, Daddy Pigs Bubbles, Georges Rocket and Watering Flowers are examples of games which she can do,great for hand eye coordination - my daughter loves these activities. I have to say there are several more that are also just about right. There is also a bonus game where you can put different outfits on to Peppa. My daughter has had the game only for a week or so...but it keeps her entertained for hrs. As she grows older, assuming she does not tire of Peppa Pig, this will keep her entertained for years. I was also very pleased with the price. Highly recommended.

I bought this game for my 3 year old son for Christmas and it has been brilliant. He had chicken pox and this little game has really cheered him up. It's the first DS game we have bought him and we now have VERY high expectations of other games we are to buy in future. The graphics are lovely - just like the programme - and the games are easy for a 3 year old to complete with no assistance and it requires no reading ability either, so is great. It has been lovely to sit with my son and watch him cheerfully wash bicycles, feed the ducks - and his favourite gaem, fly George's rocket. I am buying the first Peppa Pig now and then have pre-ordered the new one for March 2011 release!Excellent game.

I bought this for my daughter at Easter she was 5½ and was thrilled to get it, but within a couple of days she had totally exhausted it and went back to her Cooking Mama. However, my son who is 3 (and has only ever watched over his sisters shoulder whilst she played) picked up his sisters dsi & started playing this and soon got the hang of it, so Im rating it highly as I think its a great first game for young children to find their way around the ds/dsi - but by 5 (in our case) something more challenging is required. Having said this I'm not sure how many 3 years olds would own a DS/DSi but good for a young sibling of an older child who desperately wants to get involved like my son did.

My daughter loved this game ( 3yr old). No need to read to do the game, so good for toddler. there are about 9 minigames in this game. All very short time span so it is good but probably will not last very long time before the todder get bored. Rather girly so probably not for most of the boys. minigames included : Decoration of cakes, changing clothes, bursting balloons, go to moon with rocket ( which was very good), growing plants with watering, washing bicycle ( again this engaged my daughter for a while), giving food to ducks in the park. I think probably 2yr old might be able to do some of the game...

I bought this for my son who has just turned 4. I purchased this game because the first Peppa Pig game was so good. This game is great for young children from about 3 years of age as there is no writing to read and the games are easy but enjoyable. There are a good variety of games including dressing up Peppa in different outfits, washing a bicycle, watering the flowers, flying a rocket to the moon while avoiding obstacles, popping balloons, blowing out the candles on a birthday cake, decorating cupcakes etc. I would definitely recommend this for children aged 3-5 years old if they like Peppa Pig.

My girls are 3 & 5 years and are both quite new to Nintendo DS. The Peppa games are well pitched to youngsters with limited reading and so allows independent play. Super fun. The girls have used these games for hours without any need of assistance. We also very highly recommend Ni Hao Kai Lan - New Year Celebrations (not limited to Xmas time!). This is a sweet Chinese character with her friends in the feel of Dora Explorer. Truly excellent game and worth every penny as another superb choice for voice led play to the target audience age. One to consider when Peppa is having a rest.

My daughter loves this, as she is only 2 1/2 I considered the possibility it may cause more tantrums than fun times but it is wonderful. She has a baby brother but is able to play alone for short periods whilst I am busy with my boy. It is simple enough for her to use and am sure it will last for a little while yet. Very basic so probably not much fun for older Peppa fans but as an introduction to the ds lite is fabulous...I am no longer dreading our flight for our hols!!!!

bought this for my daughter age 3 as distraction when out and about, its great, she can play all the games on it. my son is only 18 months and he loves it too! i bought a jumbo stylus for him because the ds stylus are a bit small.only reason not 5 stars is a few of the games are the same like popping balloons, popping bubbles etc, and result in the kids jabbing at the screen repeatedly which they love but without adult supervision i'm sure the ds would be broken.

Bought this game for my daughter, who is crazy about Peppa Pig. She really enjoys it. For a 4 year old it is quite easy to grasp and navigate through. The little background theme tune becomes addictive and she hums along when playing. Only gripe is that my daughter has exhausted it quite quickly. She has played all the games and eventually became quite bored with it relatively quickly, but as a first game, for a Peppa Pig fan, great.

got this for my 3yr old and she loves it! the co-ordination required for using a ds stick is much like using a pen and i think it'll benefit her when she starts to write. its colourful an engages her imagination and concentration and keeps her amused for ages with all the different games, i take it anywhere that might require her to wait a long time (doctors, midwives, eye exams ectect) and its a brilliant for us to play together.

Perfect for pre-schoolers of either gender who want a go with a DS. My 4 year old girl and 3 year old son got the hang of it straight away. It is narrated so once they have the general idea they can play on their own i.e they don't need to read to play it. It bring Peppa and Georges World to life brilliantly; music, graphics, quirks etc. Sure they may get a little bored of it by 6+ but I find they come back to it again and again.

I have a DSi and bought this game for my daughter at xmas she was 2 years and 3 months , she loves it can do it all on her own, my DSi is now hers!! i haven't been on it since because as soon as i get it out she wants it! i was just wondering if anyone has come across a game as easy as this as 2 months later she's slighty bored with it as she has done it all a millon times and needs something new!! x

Bought this game for my three year old son for his DS and he loves the games. My only criticism is that some of the games are not so obvious to him and he doesn't understand what to do and then starts to loose interest. Therefore the instructions at the start of each game could be clearer or simpler. Other than that the games are great and use a variety of different skills and activities.

A game that you can leave your young kids playing on their own. It's pretty simple, they can clean a bike, pop bubbles etc. There is no score or reward at the end of the games though, they just keep going or you choose a different game. My 2 year old can turn it on and tap his way through to a game all on his own which is great.
