My daughter (almost 4) got a ds for her Christmas, after playing the wii. She was also given the Peppa Pig Theme Park game and the Cars 2 game (she is cars daft). At first she didn't seem too taken with the ds as she found the game pad required on the cars game too difficult and kept trying to tilt the ds as she would with the wii. The Peppa game on the other hand is a brilliant introduction for young users of the ds as it is totally controlled by the stylus and requires no reading ability. The game starts with getting Peppa and George ready for a trip to the theme park, where they do some very basic stylus movements to wake them up, prepare a picnic etc. They then move on to some games where they are asked to find a tool to fix the car, play I spy (either by colour or letter) and fix the map - jigsaw of 4, 6 or 9 pieces. When they arrive at the theme park they must drive the train, after all these activities have been completed the theme park games are gradually unlocked by playing. The games are trampolining, balancing the seesaw, musical fountains, water cannon, making candyfloss and ice cream, hot air ballon, bumper cars, spining teacups, picnic and a final game of remote controlled cars, that is unlocked by purchasing the remote control in the shop. They vary in difficulty and they can chose to race against the clock in some games. After each game tokens are given which can be spent in the shop.It doesn't take long for the whole game to be unlocked, which is good for little kids with little patience. I thought it would be a little repetitive, but my daughter loves getting tokens to go to the shop, but as she has nearly bought everything we may need to reset the game or set up a new profile so she can start again. We have now ordered her the previous Peppa game and the Thomas the Tank engine game and hope she will enjoy these as much. If you are looking for an easy starter game for young children then I would recommend this, but I wouldn't expect them to by playing if month after month.

Graphics and sounds true to the TV programme - Found this to be a brilliant little game for my 3 year old Grandson. As well as being an additional learning tool with teaching him the alphabet numbers and colours, he has gained skills in using the sylus and moving around his DS screen. The Game starts with you waking up Peppa and George and helping them to brush their teeth wash their faces and dress for the day at the Theme Park. You then help to make up the picnic basket to take with them then its off in the car having a few minor mishaps to resolve on the way, like piecing the map back together in the form of a jigsaw. At the theme park There are various little mini games to play including driving the train, shooting the ducks with water, making your own candy floss, trampolining to catch the balloons and many more equally enjoyable and easy to complete. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good starter game for ages 3 - 4.

I bought this for my two year old daughter after reading the reviews. I decided it sounded the most suitable for her age and I havent been dissapointed. While some of the mini games are too challenging for her in terms of physical skill there is plenty that she can do by herself or with some assitance. Even after a few plays I've noticed she understands what she needs to do and how to hold the stylus with increasing accuracy. My daughter likes getting Peppa and George ready for the day by waking them, getting them dressed and clean. I like that there is a variety of mini-games that stimulate her now and provide some challenge for her as she grows.I would highly recommend it for a young child as their first game.

My son had been watching me play games on my DS for awhile. This was the first game we gave him to play by himself. He took to it and with little instruction or intervention was soon playing intently for an hour of a long train journey. He would have played for longer but we had arrived at our destination. It has lots of minigames filled with sounds and colourful shapes. Completing each requires a little learning or exploration and unlocks other minigames. Somehow along the way he has learnt aboout balancing peoples weights on a seesaw. Although he has now completed the whole game he still enjoys returning to it on long car journeys. The only thing is he is still playing it on my DS and I want it back!

Got this for my daughter's 3rd birthday as she loves playing apps on our phones if we let her! She loves Peppa Pig and this gives her something she can take control of and play by herself, as everything is clearly explained. She finds a couple of the games trickier than others and tends to give up before completing them the required number of times (which sometimes seems too many even to me!), but there are plenty of options for her to choose from and she loves the reward of buying toys in the shop with the tokens she's earned. All in all, I'd say it's a well thought out game for young children, with plenty to entertain them.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 5 and it has been a huge hit. No reading is required as all the instructions are spoken by the narrator, and so it is perfect for little ones. You start the day by helping Peppa and family make sandwiches for lunch, then mend the car on the way before arriving at the theme park. You win gold coins at the many simple games at the park, and can buy things with them in the shop (the best bit!). My daughter loves this game and still enjoys it at nearly 8 - although she won't play it in front of friends any more because PP is so babyish :-)

I bought this game for my recently turned 5 year old boy and for a first game it is brilliant and very easy to use. He very quickly could negotiate the activities and he loves it. A lot of games are too difficult at first but this is perfect as an introduction to using the handheld games. we have all had a laugh playing ot over Christmas - even his granny ( who admits that she can't play these things could play it) lovely purchase.

I was looking for something easy for my 3 and half years old daughter. She is used to play on the Surface and other Nintendo games were not easy for her. This is perfect. I had to show her at the start what to do, and I usually sit near her doing my own stuff while she plays (this way I monitor how much she is on it) so every now and then she asks me to help her, but very rarely. She understood how to use it and she loves it.

This game is great. My 4 year old loves it and started playing right away. There are instructions (in the voice from the show) as to what to do so she can get on and do it easily. The eye spy game is in colours or letters so she will be able to use it for a good while yet. I have played the game through myself and I am really happy with it as the games are really varied. The candy floss making is lots of fun :)

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 4 year old son who was desperate to play his older sister's DSi games. He struggles to play with most but did spend some time on the original Peppa game. He loves this, is able to load the game and play it without assistance and it seems to entertain him well. Would recommend this to anyone with little ones wanting to dabble in some fun gaming.

Really impressed. Both the number of and the variety of the sub-games are great value. We purchased this for our (then) 3 year old for occasional play and she is still enjoying the game now (aged 4). Games are both fun and educational and the varying difficulty and timed modes allow for different age groups. Also gave as a present to our niece and she (similar age) loves it too.

She plays it on her 3DS she got for christmas. This is the perfect game for her as it does not require any reading skills (she is only 4) and the games are fun and easy to comprehend for a 4 years old.Once I had shown her how to start the game and select the different levels she was able to play on her own.Would recommend to any Peppa pig fan who has not learnt to read yet.

A little young for my 5 years daughter, but i bought it anyway as it wasn't expensive and she used to love watching Peppa Pig. There is a cute musical element to this game, where they can press certain keys and do the Bing Bong song (or any song with those limited sets of keys), which was great fun. Recommend, particulaly to younger children.

This game strikes a good balance between fun and learning. There are lots of entertaining games mixed well with some learning games eg eye spy letters and colours and pattern recognition. The game is very colourful and holds the attention well of both my 5yr old and 3yr old. Its the game they always want to play first. Would recommend.

This is a simple game to get them use to how to use a DSi, my 2 1/4 year old can play the games independently which is great for car journeys and she loves being a big girl like her sister - my 4 year old plays it too, although once they are school age its all a bit young, but like the other peppa pig games, a excellent first game.
