Lovely. Transforms the K-1 and adds a very welcome weight and heft to the camera (which might not suit all of course!) The camera will switch between the in-body and the in-grip batteries as and when, and discharges both simultaneously. Just one downside, for which I won't deduct any stars, is that the thumbwheel on the grip tends to get knocked and turned as you walk along with the camera slung over your shoulder, which in P-mode adjusts the aperture, and then you're left wondering why that last shot was at f/32 for 7 seconds! No prob, just turn the grip off and the thumbwheel does nowt.

Pentax K 1 is my best camera in 54 years. The battery grip is of course-likewise!!
