I purchased a used Panasonic lens which came without a lens cap and bought this genuine Panasonic replacement at a reasonable price for a genuine Panasonic replacement. It comes packaged in the Panasonic wrapping.. Some Lumix G caps come with side pinch points. If you use a lens hood these can be quite difficult to get on/off.This cap iis the type where the pinch points are are in the middle of the cap and much easier to use with a lens hood fitted.I bought this to use with the Panasonic 15mm f1.7 Summilux lens which has a really good lens hood, which stays on the lens most of the time. This cap is a better and more secure arrangement that the rubber cap for the lens hood that comes with the

I recently lost my original 20mm prime lens cap on a recent family holiday to Chechnya & was lost without it.There are cheaper non branded lens caps available which fit the purpose.Hama branded products are only half the price of this branded product & serve their purpose.But when it comes to selling on your lens or camera should you wish to upgrade on your camera system then Panasonic own branded products will always keep their value.Highly recommended.

Got this for the Panasonic Lumix G 20mm/F1.7 Pancake Lens I got with my Panasnoic GF1.This cap fits the lens perfectly. Pinch in to put lens cover in, or release it.Cap is a bit thicker and slightly more solid feeling than the one that came with it, so feels a bit better quality.Ideal for purpose - just not 5 stars as price is fairly high for a smallish piece of plastic.

Not too much to say about a lens cap but the centre pinch method is far superior to side pinch ( although this cap has both ).

Branded part to replace the one I recently lost - perfect fit as you would expect but a bit pricey for a plastic disc.

I am always losing my lens caps and it's nice to be able to buy the Lumix ones albeit a bit expensive for what it is

The lens caps were delivered promptly and the original parts were exactly what I was expecting. Perfect fit.

It fits my Lumix G6. Though it kind of comes off easily,. But so was the original one that I've lost.
