I have a Panasonic Lumix LX7. The battery gives 300+ shots which is great, but over the course of a day, I run out of power. Tired of being held to ransom by one battery, I got a spare. These batteries are good because with the official Lumix charger, they charge in approx. 2 hours, which is excellent. Get yourself a spare battery. My only advice is to buy the product from Amazon directly. Whilst 3rd-party sellers on Amazon offer supposedly cheaper prices, many customers have been stung by imitation batteries which bring their own problems, such as performance and compatibility issues, plus the additional safety issues which can come with cheap batteries not subject to safety standards.

In the end, this is the only way to go for powering your LX5. I did try a couple of third party items at a much lower cost than this but:- The camera sleep mode does not fully work, so battery drain ends up being higher than it should.- The remaining battery life indicator does not appear on the screen, which is not at all helpful.I ended up trying two of the cheaper batteries because after a short period of use the LX5 'bricked' them. Couldn't get them charged and the camera reported 'cannot use this battery'. Not worth the time messing about. Returned them both.So, this is the only one that really does the job, but one star off for the outrageous price from Panasonic.

While the Panasonic Lumix LX7 battery supplied appears to last forever on one charge, it's always good to have a backup. So I bought this Panasonic battery to back up with. This means you get the "charge remaining" indicator on the screen which, by all accounts, you do not get on the cheaper alternatives. I've used it for a few weeks and I'm very happy with it for all the reasons I'm happy with the original. The price, I thought, was very reasonable and way below shop prices.

... and as such in my expererience it should last better than the cheaper options. I've found that most of the alternative batteries for cameras tend not to last as long as the oem ones, but I suppose you could buy the cheaper ones sequentially for the same longevity at the same cost...

The battery arrived on time very well packed and safe. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 due to the high price Panasonic charge for their batteries but at least I know it will perform correctly just as the original battery does, and have peace of mind it will work well.

What can I say. It is exactly the same as the one that was supplied with the camera I recently bought. I bought it so that I always have a standby, fully charged battery available. It does that job well. It arrived on time, plus or minus one day.

Very good value and delivered within a couple of days; an exact copy of the original; does the job as the original; worth labelling with name and address as this enabled the recovery of my camera when inadvertently left at the airport.

There are a lot of cheaper batteries on the market but they won't give the service necessary for the LX camera. I keep a fully charged spare in the camera bag so I never get to an embarrassing situation. Highly recommended.

This is a genuine replacement for my Panasonic LX5. It lasts longer than the cheap clones and more importantly displays correct battery information on the camera which compatibles do not! Enough said.

I decided to buy the original branded battery as I had previously bought a generic one which did not give any info when installed in the camera and had very limited life. This is the only one to buy.

Great value for money as it's a genuine Panasonic battery which I got for a bargain price. Wouldn't have paid the RRP but if you can pick one up for a good price do so

This arrived surprisingly quickly and works fine in my Lumix LX7. Very happy with it. Boxed in original Panasonic packaging and not a fake which many seem to be...

Perfect if you don't want to be left with a camera that's officially useless, whilst out taking pictures. This is also the original and genuine Panasonic Battery.

Genuine product from a genuine company that sent it promptly and well wrapped! Now I can take 700+ images without stepping near an electrical socket!

This was bought for a panasonic Lumix LX5, this works as well as the original battery sold with the camera. I recommend and I would buy again
